I am home after meeting with rabbi and temple secretary this morning. And still lovin' Harriet's comment a few days back....
I think she's a NUT.
I left this morning w/o walking ddogs or doing much in the way of a.m. routine - I woke up tired after the long day yesterday on the road. I was home around 8:30 last night but didn't get back here to post.

I think I posted yesterday a.m. that things were rough between dh and dd night before last - and me and dh. I felt sad all day yesterday over that, and seeing my sister usually makes me feel sad also. I'm glad she is happy where she is, tho.

I had the dumpster delivered finally to her house this morning - xbil has actually been doing a lot of work on the clean up there.

I need to be back at the temple at 4:30 for a meeting. Between now and then, I'd like to nap, go to grocery, do routines, and some to-dos. Going to do the small timed nap now.

Quick -- very quick -- post here b/c I'm going to be late probably to pick up dmom.
Ooohhh... dreading today/tomorrow... dmom has already phoned and she is nervous and talking a blue streak...
I'm probably going to just have to tell her to STOP. BREATHE. a few times...

DH's cousin passed away last night. DH has gone to tell dmil. Funeral will be Saturday. DH is a pall bearer.

I must s2s & pack.
Tomorrow is another day.

Safe travels Lucy Lee!

Good Morning! Made it before noon here.

Hot with small amounts of rain=humid.

Not much going on here either. Have the dailies done. Weeklies did not make it. Did some dusting in Living room and vacuumed. Made a big pot of rice and beans with sausage, chicken and pineapples. Threw in a handful of mixed veggies I had in the freezer. Made enough for me to take for lunch this weekend. And it taste good too.

Going to check out the net for awhile, then shower for work.

Great day to all!

Off to the movie now. Haven't touched the second sermon or service but the first service is almost finished and the sermon is printed off. I'll work on editing it while in the car.

Coming back through and heading to the grocery. Need to also put gas in the car and stop at the bank while I'm out.

I'm cruising through. . . quickly.

I got up at 7, made more progress on book for teaching team, went to teaching team meeting (9:45 - 12:00), got home (it was about 25 minutes drive away), have made my bed, put away a little in the kitchen, and am having some lunch. I forgot to eat anything for bfast.

I'm leaving again in 50 minutes to meet with Taiwanese couple. Feeling a little nervous about that. . . My main goal is to assess more or less where they're at. I have an idea with him, I've had a short conversation with him before. I don't know about her. I'm going to have a listening exercise for her on hand just in case. I will stop by Walgreens to pick up some notebooks en route to our meeting place.

Dd17 has a friend over again.

I sent the band directors the shirt #s yesterday, so that is off my plate!! The orchestra uniform parent thought we shouldn't worry about the shirts left in the closet. That was my win for yesterday!!

Thoughts for today. . . I had many at teaching team meeting. I am not currently on the schedule to teach this fall. I am the back up for a dear friend who is on an adoption list in case they get their baby during the time she is scheduled to teach in October.

My thoughts are now focused on the upcoming tutoring session. After it is over, I may crash/veg for a while before getting back to my todos. Exercise should be a high priority for me today since I didn't do it yesterday.

Hi everyone! :)

Just cuop for the last two days while enjoying half of a chocolate milkshake. Dh is here in the office with me on his computer (& with a milkshake of his own ;) ). We ran a few errands this morning & are relaxing a bit before lunch.

((Dee)) adding my wishes that Mr Dee's recovery was going a lot smoother & faster, & that you both had less stress dealing with so many adverse symptoms.

Welcome, Grey Cat :) ! So nice to have you here. I love to read, too.

My thoughts this morning were about scheduling. Dh & I are both staying up too late & sleeping in. Not a good way to have a productive day. Neither is being sleepy in the afternoon. I need to set & stick to a lights out & wake up time. P&P also popped into my head today, specifically the month of September in The Happiness File, where they talk about getting back to work after a more relaxed summer schedule.

Wish I had time to respond to all of you individually. I did talk to you all in my head while cuop :) . It is always nice to read about what everyone is doing.

Waving ~~~~~ to everyone. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
