Yes, wonderful advice on the practical and the personal sides of life. Also so extremely encouraging. She was an excellent teacher or mentor. Dove mentioned that we used to feel "all was right" when Indiana posted. I think that was especially so with her nurture of the various forums that gave our village so much space to grow - kitchen, advice in "What I Ate Today", her tips thread, her notices about recalls and alerts, and of course her FOCUS plan. She was really an expert at routine, and of course she "admitted"
that she was born organized. She talked freely about how that related to the perfectionism that can sidetrack all of us, and how she had to fight that.

I love the methodical way Indiana went through things, and prepared to move into the supported accommodation. She was a great example of getting things done despite difficulties.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

Re: Remembering Indiana 8/21/12
I know I am a day late replying to this memorial thread, but I wanted to add my thoughts here. Indiana was incredibly helpful and supportive to me often with my computer woes. Both she and Hugh attempted to help me when I was very lost. The last time she tried, I actually dissuaded her because I thought it was too much for her to be thinking about when she was managing so many of her own health issues herself.
I remember years ago and a couple websites back when I'd read several things she said and I asked her if she was Born Organized. That prompted her to tell us that she was, and how she was actually criticized at one point from being involved in a group who all struggled with organization. She thought at that point nobody would want her around. It is to our credit that lots of people told her to stay around, that we all needed her wisdom and examples. I am glad she did not go away then.
I particularly remember how upbeat she was through all of her trials, and I am embarrassed to say I do not have that gift, but I am trying! She was a good example for us all.
