Changes on Saturday

All I accomplished besides playing on the computer today was a long, hot shower. I tried to nap, but every time I laid down, Mike decided to do something. Sorting stuff out in the fridge, tossing recycling into the container under the kitchen counter, putting away clean dishes... clang, bang, clink...

I just re-read my a.m. post on page 1. I'm still doing laundry, when it's done I need to remind myself (again) to not forget to wash the bathroom rugs. I have athlete's foot between 2 toes, need to wash the rugs, and DH sprayed the shower and mat with the bleach-smelling stuff. I have a physical coming up, I had athlete's foot between the exact same 2 toes then, so I want it G-O-N-E when I see him in 8 days! Nothing I use seems to help! It's getting a bit better though.

I went out to sit and journal on Dad's memorial bench. DH is getting patio chairs put away, can't seem to get the wooden swelled umbrella pole in the middle of the patio table out. It swelled up due to rain.

Dd2 called earlier to vent/rant and I hope she feels better but I just feel depressed after hearing all that. I just listened because you can't tell her anything, so why bother?

Dh called and they made it to today's destination with no problems.

I have washed dishes and started the dishwasher. I have washed 4 loads of laundry.

I am starting to feel tired, so I may be going to bed after I am sure that my bs is high enough.

The house is finally quiet. I just realized it is raining hard.

Made up the 2 lbs of bacon. Mixed the dry goods for the muffins and dh did the same for the waffles. I'll bake them up (doing one batch chocolate chip, one blueberry) in the morning before leaving for church.

Have the makings of a punch and my punch dispenser ready to go for the luncheon. Still need to get out the waffle maker but dh also made up syrup for those so we'll have a load to put in a cooler to take to the second church.

Cut up veggies for a veggie tray and found some salsa in the basement so will do veggies and salsa, plus a side bowl of pita chips and corn chips. May or may not put out the hummus too. So that's all ready for the afternoon party.

Finished the name tags. Watched a tv movie while doing that and the bacon.

Kitchen is all cleaned up, including degreasing the stove (after cooking all that bacon.)

I to need to keep up doing laundry.
We have been watching dvd's we got at yd.sales to day. H. Grilled lunch it was yummy.
I got some yarn and and serving trays & a tote bag at yd. Sales also a Susan Branch book and a dressy top I think I can wear to church.

We got the rain tarp / plastic secured, the shelf to fix the one that broke on the outside nest box did not go as well needing different brackets we will finish putting it up later. I got 15 eggs from 16 hens today. We have been enjoying the deviled eggs that I made Friday. Today I made a puppet from a slipper that was fun.

Forgot to wash the bathroom rugs. Dson was doing computer stuff for me remotely, so I got side-tracked. After dinner, I ate an ice cream sandwich, got nauseous, like I did after eating one last night, and I should know better, as I'm lactose intolerant, except for certain cheeses. No more ice cream for me.
