Do you need energy to be able to frolic? :?: I'm so slow to move this morning. I'm having coffee now, will try to get to frolicking later- after I wake up. :lol:

Have a lot of fun, Dee!

Hope your cold gets better, Kathryn.

My nose is running faster than I am. :roll:

I'm moving slowly too - no excuse for me, though. I do have a mild cold, but I don't think it is enough to affect my body overall.

I'll be back after I get some things done!!

Hi y'all...
I'm not frolicking cause I have a sinus headache
However your wedding questions did give me a good laugh...

Two of my former students were married last night. A great time was had by all. More later when I feel better.

Sweetie and I have been married four years this Sunday. It was only a 50 year marriage in the making :shock: He moved next door to me when I was nine. Still hard to wrap my brain around the fact that during the time I was playing capture the flag or football the boy I was playing with would end up being my husband some 50 years later... Gives new meaning to "who knew?"

:D I finally did:

s2s, dressed, fixed hair
put on Scar Away on my new nose scar
wrote a to do list of things I must do today
did my QVAR steroid inhaler
did my peak flow meter, was 370, which is really GR8 for me! :D
ordered "Rose Harbor in Bloom," for my e-book so NOW I'M TO THE FROLIC STAGE! :P
had breakfast, meds, and supplements
rinsed a few dishes in the sink

I'm about to:
write a writing job to do list with current book reading on it
to start a lol
to make the bed better
write letters in the later afternoon
try to work on a Conga a bit, depending on how I feel and if I can delegate a few things to DH. :idea: ;)

I'm feeling better since I took children's elixir for the cold/allergy bug. I still feel slow, but I DO feel a frolic coming on. :P

I hope everyone can get a bit of frolicking done, too. It's a long day, so perhaps by this evening. :?: Have a wonderful day, Everybody! :D

Cowinkie, I remembered that you and sweet had married recently but I thought it was a year or two ago. :o

Dmom to doc for blood draw and flu shot, picked up lunch for her at Subway, got her back home, killed a little time and went to bodywork and finally I'm home again.

Need to:
-write out instructions for dog sitter guy and put key under the mat
-pack things for overnight in ATL
-s2s? (skipped this morning)
-stakes at sprinkler heads as requested by dh?

I've been busy this morning and never did stop and post.

Time with bathroom remodeler didn't result in a solution. His company only does complete rehabs - gutting the entire room down to the wall/floor studs.....more that that because they replace the studs as part of rebuilding the entire room. They won't do a partial rehab. It is an all or nothing deal. *sigh* I told the lady when we made the appt what we wanted to do to the bathroom, but I guess they thought they could talk us into doing a complete rehab. After he left, we made phone call to handy man fella. Guess we are going to have to do this project the s-l-o-w way.

I disassembled the roll top desk so it could be moved. I moved all of it except for the top to the new location and got those pieces reassembled. When DH came home we teamed up to move the top. Now LO and my desks form a L shape.

CI:
* s2s, used hair color booster
* stripped bed, put sheets in washer
* renewed license
* went to post office
* went to nursing home to say a quick "happy birthday" to dfriend turning 80 today -- her children were given her a party
-- did not check in on dh's aunt... :oops: ... which somewhat disappointed him
* went to CVS
* went to Dollar General
-- good gracious -- parking lot at grocery store down the strip from DG was so crowded and busy I think they must be giving food away!
* home... w/about an hour to go before dgs arrives
* put sheets in dryer

(((OKay))) Guess this sort of thing is why dh avoids all household repairs...

Hope you have a good trip, Twins. I love Atlanta.

I feel slow, too, Ivy. And helia. I think I'm going to frolic into a quick nap! Hope you both feel better soon!

(((Nancy)))

Cowinkie -- that is such a sweet story, that you and Sweetie were childhood friends.

Hope you have a great trip, too, Dee! You and dh definitely need some r&r!!!

Waving to ALL!!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

Wow, OKay, in this day and age of few jobs, it's amazing a company can be that picky about their job. I wonder how their bottom line is?

Everybody with migraines, colds, get well soon!

This morning early was mammogram, new place for me, so I had to hunt it. Dr. says nothing changed from last year, yay! DH wanted something on his jobsite just as I was driving to the radiology place. So I figured he took care of it himself like he said he would, and I stopped at a thrift shop on the way home. Nope, he waited for me, so I had to hurry out of there which was hard as I was in a long line...

2 trips out to his job with stuff. Stuff I wanted to do around here didn't get done because of this. The job is a bit of a drive away.

BUT...found 34 pieces of china to match the partial set DSunny gave me after Mom died (it was Mom's) and the price on it was $19.99. I couldn't believe my good luck. All I need now is cups and saucers. I've been looking for some of this pattern for a long time.

Feeling stressed. So much stuff needing done. And I'm getting tired. Message on machine indicates a plumbing problem at other house needs quick attention. Shower won't turn off... I need a nap, doesn't look like I'm going to get one.

The boys had their lunch, watched a movie and then I took them to the park. Their mom arrived moments later (we left a note on the door) so they only had about 7 minutes to play.

Dh and I then walked to the store for the mail. It was a hard walk on my but on the way I came up with the ended for the sermon (a middle bit needs work) and came home and immediately drew a blank! So I'm struggling with that.

Dh and I will do fast food for dinner and pick up the groceries so I can do baking tomorrow. I've promised the boy who's allergic to pineapples that I'll make him a dessert of two chocolate chip cookies with Ice cream in the middle (Ice cream sandwiches.) So I need ice cream (chocolate) and cookie ingredients.
