Monday Movement

Post by Kathryn-in-Canada »

I need to get moving.

Sitting here, waiting for Harriet to post first, isn't working, so I'm going to post something, go back and see she posted and then delete this post.

Dang! Harriet's probably off doing site housekeeping.

BTW: I found a possible fix for the currently three (and hopefully not growing) number of regulars who can't post due to blocked ip addresses.

I have no idea if doing the Release & Renew instructions will help you. None of the admin here have been able to solve the problem, but it is a starting point and if it works for Elizabeth or MT, please let us know. (BTW: those two are among our most techie SHEs so with them looking for a solution, maybe we'll finally get a fix for this.)

I'm up early today. Need to shift my day back to regular hours so dragged myself out of bed early. It is very cold here so fireplace is pumping out heat. I'm still not dressed.

Facebook won't let me post this morning (or do anything but look at my news feed.) So I spent far to long hitting refresh instead of moving on.

That is going to be my theme for the day - moving on. I'm going to work a bit at something, then move on. Probably in 15s except for the time I'll spend watching one of the videos. I'll dejunk while I'm doing that.

Waving to Kathryn! Yes, I need to move my day and week along! ...And month! ...And notice holidays approaching!

Can it really be this time of year already!?! This is the last week of specific declutter rooms for the year, for anyone who's staying ahead of Focus that way! Wow! Focus Cleaning begins in the Living Room today, with decluttering ahead of time in the Dining Room. Next week we clean the Dining Room and from then on it's maintenance in preparation for the holidays!

lucylee, when I saw Sunny's post I sorta had a smile, too, thinking of your reaction. HOWEVER, those times you do get around to posting everything you've done in a certain day, it can look pretty impressive. You always manage a lot of errands.

Noticed Lynlee was here last evening - well, probably her morning. Lynlee, I hope you are feeling/noticing more movement today, too. Like movement in arm and shoulder.

School run went well. Morning Daily Card completed except for spinning dryer, so I will go check on some folding movement!

Little movements can add up to progress and/or motivation.

I'm still not dressed but I have:

Eaten breakfast
made bed, laid out the clothes for today
Checked out my regular websites and emails.
refilled the vitamin dispenser
watered the plants
wound the clocks
emptied the dish drainer
started exegesis on the reading for my next sermon (Nov. 3.) For the third time in a row at this church, the focus of the passage is money. You know, with all the healing passages, you'd think the odds of me getting three money passages in a row would be quite small!

Off to exercise on the bike for a little bit and then s2s.

Good morning, villagers ~
I have done some prep work that needed to be done before other work, but I don't want to start the other work yet because it will make me late for a very important appointment. How's that for procrastinating?

This morning I get to go pick up the new-to-me sewing machine. :D

As long as I'm out and about, I'll also stop at Aldi for groceries.
Must write checks to pay bills and drop those off at the post office.

When I get back home, my plan is to not open the new machine until I have done my desk work and other chores. Must act like a grown-up. ;)

I'll do the ceremonial opening of the sewing machine case this evening.

LOL, Bookie, the ceremonial opening of the sewing machine case!

Yes, need to get some movement going here as well. I am doing dinner for a neighbor tonight - her first day back at work after having a baby, and I will get dinner ready to take to another neighbor who recently had a baby and take it either tonight or another night this week.

For right now:
-change clothes, brush teeth, et al. then....
-walk ddogs
-start challah in breadmaker
-start a lol
-make the bed

This is a quiet week in terms of appointments - need to do some planning for next six months of temple presidency and get some things underway and would like to continue decluttering and setting up upstairs crafty area this week. I am going to see my dsis tomorrow but that leaves four solid days this week to get things done.

Good Morning!

Oh so true! Discovering Tiny Habits has changed the way I do cards. I'm still a beginner at it, but I definitely notice how it gets things done easily and they generate motivation to do more

Bookie - Enjoy that new sewing machine!

I'm in semi lazy mode this morning. Today is LO last day of fall break so we are "off the clock".

Happy Birthday OKAY!
I am getting in some movement today I did a mini spiff inthe kitchen so I had at least a bit of forward momentum. I am glad for that.

I re filled the sm. Coffee canister, and refilled the cereal box with the big bag. Put the lids on the containers so that helps save time for lunch box prep.

H. Took the eggs for the guys to work with him, and started the coffee and turned on the chickens light for
them. He is really enjoying the big tv and was barely in the cave basement this weekend so on the tv was a hit.

Twins - Thank you!

I'm just sitting here enjoying the moment while sipped a cup of coffee.

LO went with DH to do MPB AM chores and take church receipts to CPA.

No noise.
No appointment to go to
Just calm and peaceful.
YUP! I'm feeling very blessed to have such a wonderful moment to start my new birthyear!
