I am once again able to get right to this site on my laptop. Have no idea what happened. Did notice yesterday that after I posted the site looked strange -not the usual layout. But at least it worked. Now to see if it will let me post today -at least it shows me still signed in. That makes me happy. Note to Elizabeth -just try it at home again, perhaps you'll have the same "wonders never cease" as I did. I have done nothing that I know of.

Have to take dh to rehab this morning, run to his Dr. a couple of towns away to pick up the lab requisition (for FL in a month), run back to rehab -have a end of phase 2 meeting to tell us what to do once we get to FL. So we will be going to the gym. We have S ilver S neakers so that should be fine. Maybe I can start to get in shape as well. Once we're back home I have to go to town to the Laundromat (have I mentioned I hate Laundromats?) Hmmmm....wonder why this automatically capitalized Laundromat.)

I have evidently lost the sheet with pertinent info on new health care for 2014 -have the booklet but not the info that went with it. Arrggghhhh! We only have from Oct 28 - Nov 8 to sign up if we are going to change. B lue C hoice is 1/2 the cost of our M V P but I'm not sure what co-pays etc are nor do I know where to go online to look.

Better get meds & breakfast done -have to leave in 30. Have a good day all.

tai chi newbie lent me her new book while she studies the dvd. I did phone a friend and she may be able to lend me the dvd. With no credit card here buying stuff on line is impossible.
I would have needed to wrangle snail mail bank chq order.

Good morning all.

I have a full day:
- WW at 9:15 - my scale says my weight is up a little.
- van to car wash
- meet mentoree 2:30 - 4:00-ish
- make supper so we we can eat at 6
- deacon training 7 - 8:30

In between all this, I NEED to:
- do deacon reading in Westminster Confession
- finish updating childcare coordinator notebook; meeting with her tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

In between all this, it would be GOOD to:
- finish a.m. routine
- finish towel laundry
- exercise - I doubt it today
- finish book before meeting with mentoree
- get ds' account number from him so we can put $$ in it; he's been paying for everything out of pocket so far, though he apparently never paid for his meal plan. He does have the funds to do that now. Need to get that straightened out before Friday.
- help dd15 with application for local smaller univ. band clinic day and possible auditions for honors band

I was up until 11:30 and dh was up even later helping dd18 with final edits on her app. essays. Then, apparently, she couldn't upload them last night. I know she is eager to have these out. She is only doing 2 early, one of which we feel pretty confident she'll get in, the other which we feel pretty confident she won't. She set her sights very high on one - but I don't think her heart is set on it.

Today is truck loading day. My house is a disaster (except for my bedroom, which I'm protecting as a sanctuary, and dh's office.)

Dh and dd just went for the truck. They took some stuff of ds's to his old school. He continually feeds his tech teacher with things and had a pile for him.

Dsil is busy moving things to the garage. I'm eating my breakfast.

Supposedly, the truck is big enough for a 2 bedroom apartment. It will be a wonder if everything that dd is taking will fit, despite there being no table, no couch, and only a single bed.

Good Morning!

So many wonders this morning that they are hard to fully appreciate
** The clean smell that come from rain
** RAIN IS FALLING! (we are still in drought status)
** Routines built from tiny habits - one follows the last. No decisions are necessary. These become vital on days that are a bit challenging.....like today

SKIPPABLE -
TMI warning - In LO's words "This was bad gross"
Ugh!
LO got sick during the night. He woke me up around midnight saying he was going to throw up. That gave me about 1 second warning before he threw up all over my bed. DH and I jumped up from bed to help him. LO threw up 3 more times before we could get him to the bathroom. Once he got everything out of his stomach, he felt fine and was happy/chatty self. That left all the clean up to do - DH and I teamed up to clean floors in 3 rooms, strip bedding and start the washing process, make the bed with fresh sheet and comforter and spray everything with disinfectant. while LO played in the bathtub. Once LO got clean PJ's on and back into bed, he fell asleep almost instantly. This morning insisted he felt fine and wanted to go to school. I'm keeping phone nearby in case the school calls.

I see that Helia has her usual busy day going today. You have it all planned out well!

Today I have the YMCA orientation at 11:30 - just an hour away. At 5:15 I go to weigh in at WW (will be up, has not been a good week) and I should go to a program at temple with a reception starting at 7 with program at 7:30. I will be at temple today and the next two days.

Twins - BWTG on your decision to join YMCA. You are doing very well putting yourself in environments that encourage healthy lifestyle.

I'm not feeling my best, but don't want to stop completely. I'm not sure if I'm just tired or maybe have a touch of a virus. Just know my energy level is off today. This too will pass.

I've made manwich type mixture from scratch that is enough to feed 6 people. I'll divide it into 2 meal size portions and serve one for lunch and the other 1/2 will be put into the freezer for a easy meal on another day. Also mixed up LC coleslaw dressing and stirred it into a big bowl of shredded cabbage. That should be ready to eat after sitting for an hour or two.

LOL 2 & 3 are in progress. LOL #1 has been put away. LOL #4 is waiting its turn. Three of these LOL was generated during the night. Typically I do one LOL a day and keep everything caught up.

We're home from rehab. Had to run to get order for dh's lab work in FL, then back for a meeting with the head nurse at rehab. Then across the street to deliver a basket to the staff at cardiology. Here's a hint for anyone looking to give a small gift basket to some 'service' type people. Dh had asked for fruit baskets but I felt they don't get eaten fast enough and wouldn't go around as well, so suggested baskets with several types of teas, hot chocolate (think there were 3 different kinds of that) and an assortment of hot spiced cider. They all loved it (cardiology & rehab). I just bought a couple of small plastic baskets at wa lmart & put in a thank -you card for each one. Easy to do & I'm sure will last much better than the usual flowers or fruit.

Oh dear Okay. Not fun, I remember it well.

On my way shortly to do up our laundry and then back here to start packing.

A bunch of stuff I ordered (for Christmas) from L T D supposedly has been delivered, so dh will run up to the office to check on that. I was getting a little worried. Now I have a bunch of wrapping to do. Glad I asked dd where the Christmas wrap is that I left last year. She told me in a place I would never have thought to look. Would be nice if it was warm enough to wrap over there, but I doubt it. Have to make the mess here.

BBL -I'm loving being able to get here without starting up my very slow netbook. Typing is so much easier as well!

Hello Dear Ladies,

Raining here too, Okay, not going to complain.

Dson 23, updated my computer with some cast-offs. It's better and faster.

Notice at work over the weekend the number of solo Dads shopping with kids for costumes and winter clothes. Good to see Dads taking more of the share of children activities.

Laundry done on Monday, Tuesday I worked in the kitchen, thoroughly cleaned the counters.

Got myself two laundry baskets on wheels. One for whites, one for colors. My shoulder doesn't hurt from carrying baskets back and forth.

Cleaned one bathroom today. Making lunch. Work day for me.
