I got too late of a start today. There was just no way I could get everything done. I still have some time, though. .
Done:
x a.m. routine
x many emails re: Dr. for GG; I have notified the program supervisors and now have some options to pursue. I'm feeling better about it. She wants to think about it. In the meantime, the ear drops dh suggested seemed to be helping.
x prepped 3 bills for the mail, all related to dd15 and her oboe - France band trip payment, reeds order, honors band and woodwinds clinic day at local smaller U application fee
x drove to post office box b/c I missed the mail this a.m.
x drove dd15 across town to dfriend's house
x groc. list
x groc. store -- forgot items for moms group. ergh.
x put away all the groceries
x gathered items to do
x picked up dd15 from friends house and drove her to her oboe lesson (50 minutes of driving). Another check related to dd15 and her oboe. I told her that today was an expensive day for her musical activities.
x used the time during her lesson to make lists for the week, devo time, and finish a book
x drove her home
x drove to polling place; the 2 items I wanted to vote on were the only 2 items on the ballot! Boy, that made me feel civic. LOL!
x made a large cookie pan full of nachos for the girls, 2 layers
x supper; the girls ate about 1/3 of the nachos. I ate a Lean Cuisine. (and 3 nachos) We also had fruit on the table.
x kitchen cleaned up

Still to do:
- garbage and recycling to the curb; girls are supposed to do recycling
- Office Max to make copies of uniform care instructions
- prep for tomorrow: holes punched in instructions (to slip over hangers), review set up and jobs for volunteers, etc.

I don't think I can get to the gym!

WW tomorrow morning is a maybe since my day will be crowded with uniform fittings. And dd18 has an ortho. appt. at 8:00 a.m. too. We'll see. . . Friday, the other class option, is a busy day too.

Not making any progress here. I piled up all the papers on the dining table and started with synching with my purse calendar. Got that done, then wrote a long email in response to an inquiry.

In other words, I got distracted.

Dh must have as well because he set out an hour ago to start recording and just now went to do it.

He'll be up all hours of the night, so I think I'll work for 15 and then head to bed.

sherinjoy, my older dd had a stopover in New Zealand and thought the international airport was remarkably comfortable and welcoming. That's the only knowledge I have about a trip there! LOL! I hope your dh has a great trip. Sounds like so much fun.

Thanks Harriet - I'll pass that on to him! He is getting excited when he looks through the itinerary and sees all the adventures planned for them.

Maybe Kathryn or Lynlee or Helia have some experiences to share about New Zealand. It will be Spring, going into Summer when he is there, so the weather should be great. The only cold weather will be in Milford Sound, which is in Fijordland National Park, full of glaciers and the Southern Alps.

I ended up sorting most of my books. All the paperbacks are in alpha/order.

I also did 4 more loads of laundry. The only thing left is the bed sheets.

I am meeting my dd for her 27th birthday (which was today) lunch tomorrow.

Most of the bags that have been ignored since July  have been dealt with. Various travel bags and purses. They are all empty and ready to be put away.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Well, I am just waaay too far behind to do any good at personal responses today…

I figured today would sorta be a lost cause, after having dgs since 4:30 pm Sunday. And of course, the last 12 hours of his stay, I was alone with him. He’s really good though, and doesn’t mind playing in his playpen for fairly long periods… so I had him there and I was in and out of the room while I was also doing laundry and talking to dmom on phone and making those hotel reservations for dh and all that stuff. Today I’ve just been really sleepy all day long, and I did take a nap after supper. Otherwise, I’ve done nothing today, after walking and s2s.

DH took a nap, too. He is not feeling well, suspects he has pleurisy in one lung. Of course he will not go to doctor. He says, “When the doctor sees my blood pressure and what I weigh, he’ll want me to have a bunch of tests run and it will be a long ordeal and I am just not ready for that until he makes me come in for my bp medicine refills (in December).” * sigh *

We did get supper for ourselves and delivered plate to dmil. I have not talked to dmom today. We talked over 90 minutes Sunday night and over 45 minutes last night and I thought I’d just give her a break.

Just a few random thoughts…
Happy birthday to Cathy’s dd
And Happy travels to Mr. Sher
No elections here…certainly understand Harriet’s concerns re: the questionable candidate…
Hope things go well for you tomorrow, Twins!
Hope all is going well for Dee & Mr. Dee as they travel…
So glad LO is feeling better, and glad for Mr. Sunny’s good doctor’s visit…
Would sooo love to trim some overgrown shrubs here…
Glad you figured out a solution to the locked file cabinet, Harriet. I thought I was going to have to have a lock drilled out once at school, but vo-ag teacher put me off, said he hated to do that b/c then I could never lock it back, of course, maybe the key would turn up… and amazingly, it did!

Maybe I will be more productive tomorrow. Right now I’m going to go watch Perry Mason.

Hope you ALL have a good evening and a good day tomorrow!
Tomorrow is another day.

I could not get on line w/the tablet today some prob. W/the down load of one of the TV apps. On Samsung sigh. So I may be uninstalling it.

I rested to get over the crud, did my hair and got the other tablecloth on and dgds bday gift ready. We had a bit of snow today here.
No kids until after school. So I had sometime to keep on keeping on with the stuff that I have been doing for noliday prep. And it is starting to show. Slow and steady is the way to go. l no toy hot spots to pick up after helped too!
