Sipping cup of coffee and taking a quick break....
Morning has started well and I haven't made a major blunder (yet) at MPB. Some of my minor blunders in the past 24 hours....
** I did forget to lock the dumpster last night. Some kind soul discovered my blunder and filled the dumpster 1/2 full with their household type trash. Hopefully the next few days will be slow trash days so the dumpster will be able to hold all of MPB trash until the next collection (doubtful, but I can always hope)
** I didn't clean up the huge pile of popcorn some kind soul dumped on the parking area. Loose popcorn is hard to gather up with push broom because it is so light and fluffy. I'll give it a few hours to see If the wind will blow it away (and birds eat it), If not then I'll use my battery powered blower to blow it into the grassy areas. The only blower at MPB is DH big gas powered one (heavy & hard for me to start).
** Not a blunder on my part, but someone did remove the end off of one of the big vacuum hose. Why people do this is beyond me...do they think it will fit onto their home vacuum? DH keeps a good supply of them so it was easily replaced.
Next up -
** Pick up DMom and hope for the best.

Re: Thursday PWYC - Favorite Singers
I will forever love George Strait and George Jones. I sure am glad that we will have GJ around forever in his songs and TV appearances. He was one of the best. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are favorites of mine and I am so happy to see that they are still together raising their 3 daughters and appearing to be so happy. (Tim's story is so amazing and I love the way he cared for his Dad, who at first denied he was his son, when he was dying.)
Time to leave is getting closer. The other day I bought an iPhone and I am busy trying to learn it. So far I really am excited about it. Before it was a TracFone that I bought minutes for. This is so classy compared to it.
Off to do my dailies and figure out where lunch is going to be. I'm voting for the Lake and watch them making snow at the ski resort!

HRH asks, have "Your Ladies" seen these tips? 99 Life Hacks He found a couple helpful ideas in this group.
Nancy, Scotty is still going to (public, state) college back home in Raleigh on Mondays and Wednesdays right now, while being a superstar the rest of the time. He is certainly a very down-to-earth, nice guy with high ideals.

My favourite for the past 20 years has been ... Mike. How can you not love the singer that writes loves songs for you?
He does currently have 4 songs on y ou t ube. He is listed under M ichael D illon. Right now the only song that I can remember on there is "I am the s e a" (fill in the gaps for sea.) He filmed this one while we were on a trans Atlantic cruise last March. The song was written years ago and I can't remember when this version was recorded. It was all put together when we got home last March, including some slight changes to the colour of the water in one part to make it all the same shades of blue for continuity.
Don't watch this one if you are prone to motion sickness.
I have a root canal repair this afternoon. (Part of the side fell off)
I also have lots of other errands while I am out and about.

Re: Thursday PWYC - Favorite Singers
George, George, George... YES. He definitely is my favorite singer. (Except for ds, of course!
)
REALLY debating with myself about going to see him in concert in Nashville in March.
HOWEVER... tickets -- the CHEAPEST tickets I can find -- are almost $200. (And those are, of course, upper deck) I just don't know if I am ready to spend that. I know we spend waaaay more than that for football tickets every year, and dh says, "Go ahead and get them if you want them..." He is NOT crazy about ANY modern country music, but says he would enjoy it at least as much as I enjoy football... so... it's entirely my decision... but I don't know. I've never seen him in concert, and this will be my last chance, you know... BUT... so many times the reality does not live up to the anticipation... and I just hate to PLAN something that far in advance, and spend almost $400 for us to do something that I am the only one who cares at all.
I was a HUGE Elvis fan... and I did get to see him in concert... but do you know, it only cost $10 to see ELVIS in 1975.
* sigh *
Oh -- favorite song by George Strait? Ooohhh... too many to name. Amarillo by Morning, Baby Blue, The Cowboy Rides Away, Chill of an Early Fall, that's the first ones that come to mind.

Good meeting with rabbi and with office secretary this morning. I simply cannot face working out right now. In fact, I just need some down time. I need to p/u dh at 2:40 for meeting so I am having a little "toes up."
