High hopes... but I will have to get up bright and early, so maybe I will be able to get something done. And I won't have dgs ALL day & night; ddil will come get him after she catches up on her sleep. (She's working tonight.) Of course, ds says she could probably sleep until 7:00 pm if she is home alone. She has worked the last two nights, plus taken her test to complete her classwork, and had a long weekend out of town w/her family... so I'm sure she's looking forward to being home alone for a day. I don't mind. DGS and I get along pretty good. 
And if I don't get the cleaning to the point I want it, I've still got Fri/Sun/Mon to finish up.
* Ooohhh -- I also need to make sure dcousin who is supposed to be coordinating FOOD for Christmas Day has that under control!
Also need to finish up stocking stuffers, cash gifts, and a few gift cards, etc. -- which I believe I can purchase at CVS. They have a very good variety from all sorts of stores, and places like a mazon. DGS and I might do some shopping tomorrow.
I have to get up early b/c dh & ds are going shopping & to college basketball game. Their annual Christmas trip. I am so glad they still get to do this together.
DH is just about a basket case tonight. Doctor's appt in 12 days to get results from today's blood work... problems w/S tub H ub re: tickets for the BIG GAME in January... quite irritating conversation w/his dbro re: same subject... yes -- he needs a day out of town.
Just hope if S tub H ub calls and makes necessary changes tomorrow, that I will follow my "instructions" correctly and get this all settled. * whew *Sunny -- sometimes I have had that problem -- the "hesitation" w/typing that you were speaking of. I have no idea whatsoever what caused it OR what stopped it. Restarting computer maybe? Right now, I'm doing fine -- but who knows what the next hour may hold?

Nancy -- I don't really have anything to support my opinion, no hard data or formal studies, you know, but I suspect that video games and everything else about our digital/technology driven culture makes ADD and all other kinds of learning disabilities worse. Students have extremely short attention spans these days, and that was one reason I was glad I retired when I did -- not b/c of the students, but b/c the schools seem to be "dumbing down" to meet these kids where they are, rather than challenging the kids to meet higher standards. The schools CLAIM they are raising standards, but I am skeptical, b/c the teaching method seems to be much more student-centered, activity-centered, faster paced -- and I, the chief of all old-fogeys (sp? LOL) -- I wonder, "When do students learn to CONCENTRATE on something that might be difficult? When do they learn to FOCUS and STUDY something that might not be exactly to their own choosing? When do they learn to READ something challenging and different from the latest young adult novel?"
But like I said, I am an old-fogey. My time has passed. Lead me to my rocking chair...
LOL at all the nose stories!!! I don't recall any major situations w/ds. Maybe time has just soften the memory? My dmom remembers a lot of things about ds's early years that I seem to have forgotten. But I don't think we ever had a nose emergency -- until the baseball years.
