I've been on the run today as well. Managed to get out of the house this morning after walking ddogs so they didn't have to wait all day, and met with rabbi at 8:45ish. Then talked to office mgr and a contractor who is there about other issues. Finally got to my old office, and thankfully, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had some recent client stuff that I needed to pass on to someone, but most was old enough it was ready for the shred box. Also visited with a lot of people that I'll miss.

Before I got out of there I realized I had missed a phone call about the good temple issue (someone wants to give us money before 12/31!) so called attorney back, then had to go back by temple to take some photos and got some lunch and headed home. Since getting here I've emailed the photos and some related info. One of the office secretaries called to let me know I forgot my back support pillow, so I'll need to go back to pick that up.

I need to s2s soon and get ready for dh's office party this evening.

Tomorrow dcleaning lady comes, and I need to get out early and get cash and a card for her Christmas bonus. Also get cash for temple Christmas bonuses (this is from the organization, not me personally) and get that to temple in the morning. Need to see dmom tomorrow also. I don't have a massage scheduled - had to cancel last week because I was picking up ds in ATL - and I had meant to do so but may let it go now.

Then dgd got a cut or scrape and had to deal with that got a bandaid on that and she is napping now.

Did 30 min. On the gazelle in ten min. Segments of time.
I still need to do the ex. Bike.
Soup for lunch was yummy.

I'm beginning to wonder if I've been stood up tonight. Can't get in touch with dh, his office party begins in 12 minutes. He had indicated he would come home to get me.

Or something horribly wrong? I called golf club and verified that the party began at six. Should I call back and ask for him or his boss?

Just reached him on his cell phone. He had forgotten that it was tonight and now he's on his way and my makeup is ruined.

Nothing matters except the man gets home okay. Lose the pretty clothes, cry out the flawless makeup, scratch up the new car, miss the fancy party, but get that rascally old man home safe and all will be well. (((Twins' family)))

I'm home. I took a short detour after the pharmacist (it is nice enough out that I should have walked but I drove) and went for a hug from my senior friend. I figured I had the time and felt better after.

My present for CM has not arrived so I may not have a present for her on the 25th. All's good but I'll be sad if I don't.

Dh had another violent attack last night for many hours. Only this time he said the pain radiated around to his back. There just never seems to be any rhyme nor reason. Do know that these 'attacks' are seeming to happen more frequently. Used to be months between or even a year or 2. This is the 5th one since we left home November 2nd. I did remember today that his GP told him early fall that there is another test that a gastro Dr. could perform but it's only available at one hospital in our area. Thought he'd want dh to have it if he kept having trouble. He is due for another endoscopy (has Barrett's Esophagus) this summer, but perhaps we'll ask for this test first. Will write dh's gp about what's going on. That way perhaps he can get him scheduled for this procedure when dh first gets back up there if this continues. He'll be going home end of March/first of April. I plan to leave here on May 1st.

DGS9 called tonight to thank us for his birthday present. He is so enjoyable to talk with. Hope he never changes. Had hoped when I saw a missed call from DS-R that maybe he was calling to tell us his surgery had been moved up.

DD came home and helped me get 5x7 photos printed out. Sure dks and dgks up north will not be getting them in time for Christmas but at least they'll be on their way. Want to try to mail them tomorrow. Have gift cards to get ready for everyone too. Still have to email ddil#2 list of the presents she has and who they go to. Just remembered I have nothing for our StepDGreatGKs - Have to put my thinking cap on for that one.

Did step out on a limb and bought a Disney gift card for DS-A & DDIL#2. Figure they'll be coming within the next year or so. DS can't stay away for long.

Rug dh and dsonil did in the living room look great. There was 1 spot that we think gd15 spilled nail polish on and tried to get up. DD got very smart (gets it from her Mom) and said why don't we put the coffee table in front of the love seat, instead of the couch & it will cover it. Bright girl. Looks good!
