Been trying for 1/2 hour to get online. Grrr.... Think the router here is weak or something.

I'm working on Annual Reports for up home. Have a few (of my own) done. Now have to look (praying I have it with me) for a notebook with notes from a meeting we had in October. Going to look in a minute.

DD and dh went for their walk and now dd has steel cut oats cooking. Was going to go out and make them earlier but dsonil was asleep in the recliner.

Looking foggy or drizzly outside. Rained most of yesterday -fairly unusual for here.

Well, I'm procrastinating -better get looking. Know where this notebook SHOULD be, but we'll see.

EDITING: Glad I found the notebookS!! Easily found, but realized in looking that there was an additional meeting that I didn't have written down on my calendar. Not sure about one set of notes I have -it actually ended up not being an actual business meeting so not sure I have to write the minutes for that or not. Will check with the moderator.

Want to get all of my work done as my time to spend on them will be sporadic at best. Tuesday we're going to go see my db/dsil in The Villages for the day. DD wants to go (so glad family is important to her). Have another couple we want to go see in Ocala but don't think we'll get it done in the same day. Don't want to really, except it will mean an extra trip up there.

Good morning all! We've had a busy and fun trip and will be heading home this afternoon. Our hotel is very nice, well-situated downtown - close to the Michigan Mile and lots of good restaurants, and surprisingly not too expensive. Saturday, we traveled here from Ohio, window-shopped and had Chicago deep dish pizza at one of the well-known pizzerias downtown. We were able to skip the 1.5 hour line with a pass from our hotel. Yesterday, it was the aquarium and then Field's Museum of Natural History. Dh and I went out to a nice Mexican restaurant after bringing in Panera for the kids. This morning, we have reservations at a highly ranked bfast place nearby. Then, we'll be off to the Sear's tower, the bean, maybe the art museum, depending on how time goes.

It was good to see friends and his mother in Ohio Friday evening and morning.

I've s2s-ed, but I'm waiting for dh to be done to do my teeth and face care. I think he's done!

Good morning one good thing one here today one of the new buff colored hens laid an egg but it was not in a nest box dirty and cracked thin shelled so not useable. Hoping she catches on soon where the oyster shell & nest boxes are. Got the 4 doz. Together for the guys at work so h. Could take them. We did not eat many eggs this weekend and I did not devil any.

I need to see the colorist.
Trash day prep.
Bwp stuff up today.
Dgkids not here today.

Nancy - how many eggs are your hens laying most days?

We are enjoying a calm and relaxed day. I have a written PODA to keep IGAD attitude away.

Breakfast was beef & vegetable omelette with a glass of milk. I wrapped DH's omelette portion in a LC tortilla and added some pepper cheese.

Next up -
** Sonic toy just broke. Need to see if it can be glued
** Laundry dance - swishing & twirling
** MPB daily gross processed (from Saturday)

Okay Egg count varies 6-8 some appear to be laying like eod.
Once a week I get a good count this week it was Sat. Or Sun. For the good egg day when they all laid on the same day.

I have been seeing snipets of A Yellowstone Christmas on PBS, it is great hoping to see all of it, I think we have seen it before but it is worth seeing again.

Saw CNN special sick fat & nearly dead a guy does juicing gets others on board.

Ahhhhh. Quiet Monday morning here. As usual, need to get moving. We very much enjoyed seeing Saving Mr Banks yesterday - I think dh enjoyed it as well. Brunch w friends was nice yesterday, so much I needed a little nap in between brunch and the movie. Had a bit of trouble getting to sleep last night, don't know if I'm wanting less sleep (maybe I'm sleeping more efficiently w the CPAP?) or just general OMM stuff.

I need to get a few things done today, especially since it appears I'm taking my nephew and his wife and two little ones to see dsis tomorrow. I had offered to do this awhile back and we were trying to work out a date when nephew could go so it looks like tomorrow is it. I'm hoping for an early enough start to get back home for a little nap before we go to friends' at 8:30ish for New years tomorrow night. BTW, after this trip I am going back to an every third week schedule to see her; I've made more trips than usual because of her birthday and the holiday season.

OMM, off the top of my head....lots of "little thing" that I haven't had the focus for....

Here is my post from Sunday when my IP was blocked.

Today is the 50th anniversary of the day we met - but our 49th Wedding anniversary. During that year, DH was going to school in Chicago and I was in Sioux Falls and Omaha. We saw each other only 18 days during the year. And they said it wouldn't last.

Fifth Sunday in church - means Pastor on vacation. So had sing in with scripture. Went very well. This is last Sunday of me being in charge of Fellowship after church. I will probably do it in April again. But we all pitch in every week.

Finally rid of the heart monitor. It has been a long month for carrying around that junk. Especially since the one piece of equipment wouldn't hold a charge and I had to stay plugged in most of the time. Part of my blue funk, I think as I couldn't leave the house for very long.

So far the day is going well. Dishes/counters cleaned, meds for 2 weeks done, floor swept, 1 load of laundry washed and in dryer, S2sox and bath s/s, bed made.

Also irritated 4th call to get propane, and heart monitor packed for shipment back and UPS called for pickup.

Next up is to sand living room side of island and bring paint in to warm up. Also sand front of built in bookcase. Must remember to take before and after pictures.

I like how Twins' Mom said, "...it appears I'm taking...". (smile) It appears I'm taking dd15 to meet the friends who couldn't come here several days back because of sickness, at least the mom and 2 girls. Everyone's decided there are just so many bugs going around we'll avoid each other's houses and meet at the Chickfila. Their mother has an errand at Belk and I have an errand at the Vitamin Shoppe. Maybe we can manage more than one thing out in the world.
