Hello, Helia, KitKat, L.Ann and Dogged!
Congratulations on your weight loss, Helia! And such good news that your students all want to to learn.
I hope you have a good chat with your DF, KitKat. Three DGDs is a lot!
L.Ann, I hope Little Bit feels better soon.
Dogged, yay for making it to the hospital with your DF on time and with a cooperative car. I always feel journeys back home are far less stressful, as you don't have to be anywhere by a particular time!
Church was good, DF PM have me a lift in, so I was able to bring the latest order of coffee with me. My appointment went well, but the 2 mile walk back home in temperatures of over 30 C / 86F (Uphill all the way except for the last bit!) was more challenging. Fortunately , I took breaks and had my water bottle with me.
Now, I'm just waiting for Waitrose to deliver - I've ordered quiche for supper, so minimal prep time,. and we can have it with salad.

I'm headign to chruch to measure, cut, and pin backs for 2 quilts. Hopefuly somehting I can be successful at today!
Then I will return and see if a second try at these things is more successful...

Sending you finding vibes for that envelope, Gma. I know CL frequently invokes the help of St Anthony when she loses something important.
Waitrose have delivered and the groceries are PA. Kitty supper next, then our supper.

I FOUND THE MISSING DOCUMENTS
I asked my late husband, St. David, for help. And briefly suggested St. Anthony (lost things) and St. Jude (I beleive lost causes, which is what I am when it comes to filing and anything accounting and secretarial) might help as well.
Then I figured if I did something good for our church - which I did: I went to our Mission Quilter's room, found fabric to make backs for quilts, cut then to the right lengths and pinned them, came home and did the sewing and pressing required for 3! - that should count for something as well. Besides, by doing that sewing and pressing, I could avoid washing dirty dishes.
I even brought the finished backs to the chair person of our group, as I won't be ehre next time we meet. The date conflicts with an event near my cabin that I enjoy every year.
Finally I called my dsis3, as sometimes I tell her where I put things. She didn't know either.
Suddenly, the envelope I was looking for appeared - on the back of the couch, leaning against the wall (behind a few other things, just peeking out.
Now I can finish the dishes, and tend to the necessary tax activities - and put the envelope away where it belongs, so I will be able to find it in Sept when I need it again.
