I am so COLD!!! But at least today I remembered to put on 2 pairs of socks. DD9 and I had Girls' Night Out and I made her go to Chuck E Cheese when she wanted to do videos AGAIN. She had been saving her tickets because she did not want candy or cheap plastic junk and last night she got a really good prize from Playmobil. She wants to go every week now so she can get the other Playmobil prize. Tonight I will probably eat at church Wednesday Night Out and I need to do a LOL. Wasn't planning a LOL, but Dcat got sick on my bed, YUCK! I also need to bring in the trash and recycle bins. At payroll, I am still modifying documents and freezing. I have my ankle length down coat being used as a lap blanket and a jacket zipped up for my top half. BRRR!

CUOP. We are getting settled in AZ. Had a wonderful evening with Cowinkie and Sweetie the other night. Cowinkie looks great. Sweetie's car is looking great. He has been busy busy busy.
I am on DH's laptop and I surely do dislike it. I can't get it to do what I want it to do

So goodbye for now. I just have to get use to it all over again.
Good Day all!

Good Morning Ladies,
We've had some cold weather here, but no snow even after all the predictions. Sunny today and temps will be rising to the upper 40's.
LucyLee Had to chuckle about the snowman, all in military line. So funny, and yes best to keep opinions to oneself when menfolk help.
DH has been working from home these past couple of days and I didn't get to check in to much. He is off on service call now.
Going to get some lunch started.
Will check back later.

I love my Keurig. I only like one cup of coffee in the morning and hot tea the rest of the day. Also I have a cup of coffee while we are talking after dinner.
Now I'm rearranging the area of the counter where I had my Bunn. My nephew-in-law wants my Bunn so it will have a new home.
I'm waiting for my oxygen delivery.
It is sunny and cold out but refreshing.
Next up is to cut up treats for Jake's training baggies.

Just got the heat bumped up in the office. I never did warm up. I have done lots of minor editing in the document, but not the major stuff yet. It's so cold.

Just spent an hour on the bed next to the driveway. All unwanted cacti are out as are some of the rocks that were buried around and among them. The variegated agave is trimmed up, all pups dug up and the ground raked around it. The blue agave still needs to be trimmed and pups dug. But my back gave out. The bed is really starting to look great.
Hugs to all - but DH is chomping to get going. He has an appointment with hand Dr. for his trigger finger. Probably another shot - if that doesn't work it will be surgery.
Have a great day.

Prayers for Mr Emptynester and his trigger finger.
Thanks for the tip, Dove - that must have been almost fun to rinse it off to see. Do be cautious with fumes, please.
Gee, I can't POSSIBLY be productive when I'm cold and expected to sit. Maybe if I were vacuuming or sweeping, but not sitting. Hope you get some warmth, Elizabeth.
Sadie, you deserve some calm, simple weather after your heat wave this past summer.
Hi to Norma, glad the trip was a safe one. Have fun.
Coming down the homestretch with the cards. Need to stretch!
Another sadder TaDa is that I ordered flowers for HRH's dear friend's father's visitation and also sent a card. I used NONE of the Christmas stamp/labels for the card and told the florist absolutely NO red. I'd like to see them have a chance to avoid the association of this loss with the Christmas season, although it may not work out that way.

ABSOLUTELY thrilled for
Cowinkle!!! Congratulations!!
Dove - thanks for that reminder! I had forgotten about the easy way of cleaning stove grates and the oven wire shelves....and mine sure do need it! I think i will put them all into a big plastic garbage sack and try to do a bulk cleaning session outside so most of the fumes don't come into the house.
Indiana - that sounds like a perfect gift to yourself!
DBro left the big city hospital nine minutes ago. He is in ambulance headed home. Hospice has been there for the past 4 hours preparing everything to receive him.
LO and I had a great time at Library story/craft hour. We also walked through the little zoo (only about a dozen animals) and said Hello to each one.
I've got 2 hours before picking up older ones. I need to focus on paperwork. My goal is to be like
Harmony and keep it all caught up!!!

Dove, were you talking about the inside oven racks or the circular heating elements on top? I might have misunderstood.
I've read and enjoyed but no time to reply.
3 cartloads of leaves gathered. That was after running after DH to take him up to new job as he was running late (long story) and then back to HD to pu truck...and I've been fielding numerous phone calls from him all day long. I don't know why he has to tell me about all the problems, instead of just dealing with them and fixing things, all it does is make me worry all the time.
And I'm trying to get something done in the house but not making much progress. Had to organize a closet a bit to consolidate and make a place for a few more boxes. If I'm going to resurrect my sewing habit I must find a better place to put things. Otherwise the house is in chaos every time I sew.
Must get back to it. Still nothing done for Christmas. Except people called and consolidated plans for Friday (next). Wonder if they would like to help me decorate?
Thank you OKay! But that's the only thing around here that's caught up.
