OK, I really do know it's Saturday, so of course Lucylee isn't in school.
For some reason, it seems like Friday to me....
Sorry to hear your ddad had a bad night, Lucy. Hope the gastro dr. can figure it out soon.

Awww, Twins Mom! I will do something silly and unexpected in your honor. Shall I make a face? I'll go find dd13 right now, make a face at her and tell you what she says, verbatim. Wait here... ... Okay, she says, "Why are you making silly faces? Have you gone crazy?" (She's not very original, is she?)
Congratulations to Dee's dd!
Dove, I mis-read and thought the table was covered with "music" rather than "misc" and was trying to figure that out! (Actually, you might have been better off!)

Hello Everyone!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALLY!
Harmony, I'm glad you had a nice visit with dds' families. Also a good visit with second family visiting. Hope the wedding goes well today.
Indiana, welcome back! It's nice to know that you are home again!
Lucy, I'm sorry to hear your ddad is having a rough time. Hopefully the drs. will find the cause soon. It was nice the funeral went well and that so many were able to pay their respects to dfil.
Dee, congrats to your dd on an excellent eval. It's always a relief when they are done for another year!
Twins', hope the rest of your afternoon goes quickly. Thought about you last night with the bad storms! I hope your golden visitor found his way home.
MT, I'm looking forward to seeing your blog and the carvings you made.
Harriet, sure hope dd13 is on the way to feeling better.
Dove, it's so nice you had an opportunity to enjoy the spring flowers while out and about.
Hello to Bittersweet, Kathryn, Lynlee, LisaB and all who stop in later.
My treat today was to get up extra early to go to see our dgd11 play baseball with her Little League Challenger Baseball. It's part of the local Little League program, but for children with mental or physical challenges - ADHD, Downs Syn., CP, etc. or physical disabilities. She was so glad to see us there!
I'm happy that all my weekend housekeeping is done and I can relax the rest of today and tomorrow. We have no company coming; ds#1 had to work late today and dfam#2 is visiting ddil's dmom and dad this weekend.
p.s., Has anyone noticed that the s pider bot has been with us almost constantly for over a month now? Don't remember seeing them here that often before....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALLY!
{ So Skippable}
Back in from doing some prep. for the open house. I'm in the dog house cleaned out the shop moved some of it to the other shop; it's looking better. H. is fit to be tied b/c I've moved his "stuff" not used for 3 + years I consider it junk. I told him I wanted it empty he just about blew a gasket! [I failed to mention I was kidding!] He's not feeling well but trying to get the mower going etc. our treat was he grilled burgers for lunch yea it's finally nice
enough for us to do that.
I'm frustrated that we did not do the inside stuff that we could have done while it was rainy outside now we have this to do playing catch up ack! Can't seem to feel like we are ahead of it.
Now that the weather is nice fishing came up of course anything seem like more fun that getting ready. Wed. we had a Realtors tour as well. To be honest I really do not care if the windows get washed or other stuff gets done at the moment any way. ~sigh~ Of course when I said that H. was not happy! Go figure.
But then again what did I expect his reaction to be? I think I"m sort of hiding in side for a bit until he settles down and gets over it.
Seemed like a good idea any way.
I've spiffed up the kitchen, living room, my office and main bathroom. Swept the patio, did a bit of staging. There is a billion things I could be doing if I cared but I don't so doubt I will. I asked h. to vacuum by his chair downstairs the other day and he didn't had to bring it up again today. He is acting like it is new info. yea right. Okay I'm going to take my attitude self and
do some thing else maybe weed by the new roses.
Thanks for listening.

Re: Saturday Treat PWYC
So far today has been more treats than work. Nothing wrong with that, of course, except I haven't worked for weeks.
I decided I'd better run over to the library before it closed. Also had to drop of the toilet paper for my friend and test to see if her dvd player would play a cd with mp3s on it. Asked dh if he wanted to come. He did and suggested lunch out so we ended up having a nice time out at the diner. Didn't buy gas like we intended because it was 40 cents a gallon more than we paid last week in the same town (of course, it was 40 cents a gallon cheaper than anywhere else last week!)
Since getting home I polished the visible silver and hung up the load of laundry I ran in the morning. Then dh got working on our anthem for Palm Sunday so I helped him with that. He was developing his harmony so needed me to sing the melody. We don't have written music for this so doing it all by ear. After he had that worked out, we sang against our musician's accompaniment he recorded last night. My throat is husky from all the singing last night, which works well with this song, a Passion Story variation of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.
I'm supposed to be updating Quicken now.

(((HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALLY)))
This morning I mowed this yard, while dh ran the weedeater. Then we loaded the mower and went to the other house. I mowed and he ran the w/e. Then we came home and I had lunch, then took a shower, etc. I had a tentative showing at 3, but they didn't show.
The lady called this am and said that instead of being able to come up with the other $15000.00, they can only come up with $10000.00, so if we get a chance to go ahead and sell. At this point, I would sell for the lower price, but they have been so wishy washy, I almost hate to enter into a contract with them. After 5 weeks of this, I just want it sold. Of course, dh is now saying that we should have priced it cheaper but oh, no I was too stubborn.

Perhaps my treat was leaving work at 5:15 and going by new house? Back home now and Internet, tv and phone are all out from the storm;they will have to send someone tomorrow.
I'm posting from phone which is slow going.
-Clear kitchen counters
Straighten family room
Feed ddogs
Empty dishwasher
