Good morning! Hope you all had a nice Easter/Passover/weekend. I had only 2 hours to shop for DD10's Easter basket on Friday and found a great sale at Toys R Us. Unfortunately, it made me spend more than I had planned. I gave it to her Saturday. XDH and I passed DD off at the Good Friday service. I spent Easter day alone. I had high hopes of getting lots of house stuff done, but took a long nap instead. I did make the church service though. I did do a little cleaning, some shopping errands, and finally got the laundry put away and Quicken updated. I have trouble on Sundays where there is no cat clinic - I end up moping and napping. I tried to get together with a friend Sunday night but she was unavailable. The maids come Wednesday and I really need to get things put away before they get here. I still need to do the weeds, but that will have to wait. I have something planned for Mon to Thursday nights and I am probably getting another foster cat for a few weeks. I need to get back to payroll.

Grrr, dd1 just called and dgd15 is mad that I bought her size L. Excuse me, but that is what size dd1 told me to get. I told her to bring them over and I would exchange them, since I had put them on my S ears card.
Yesterday afternoon dd2 had called to ask me if I thought it would be all right for dgd15 boyfriend to come over since neither side of his family had anything for Easter. It WAS at her house and I figured surely the other dgd15 could deal with it. But before the evening was over, she was mad at dd2 dd. It is just ridiculous for her to be jealous that her dcousin has bf and she doesn't.

5 of 5 are done.
The last one was using peroxide on the spots still on my carpet from blood. The tech accidentally used warm water and they set. The peroxide seems to be taking out the spots.
I just talked to the oxygen company again. They are not going to budge. I still need to pay the $800.00 and give back the machine. They want me to pay $110.00 per month. I said it will have to be $10.00 per month. The amount is actually $853.33 so it will take me 86 months to pay it. That is 7 years and 2 months. I asked for the supervisor to call me.
I can pay it as a lump sum but it is the principal. I will set it up as an automatic pay from my bank each month.
I am not a happy camper.

Oh I meant to tell you I had a dream last night that I could breath with out oxygen and walk.

The rock pile is gone!!! The "boys" from the Park Beautification Committee came and got it - then I went up to the park and helped use the rock to build a wall. We have a beautiful new terraced bed at the east end of the park. They are going to buy a saguaro to put in one of the beds. But we won't get it until next fall. It is too late to plant anything now as the daytime temps are in the 90's.
I have been looking up petroglyphs to finish some rock carvings for my front porch. I also need them for the painting I am making.
Next up is to get the papers out from buying the house and add that to our taxes - then I think they will be done.
Hope you all have a great day.

Grrr, Grrr, Grrr for Indiana being forced to pay for a machine she doesn't need or use. I hope the supervisor will be of help to you. Again, Grrr!
I had not planned to get out today. I called dd1 and told her I would return the pjs tomorrow. So gd told her mom that I had said that if they didn't fit or she didn't like them I would give her the money. I did say that and meant it, but she didn't want to wait so she wanted the $. Dd1 returned the pjs to me and I gave her the $. She was morified that gd15 is acting this way. Note to self, don't waste your time next year shopping for her, just give her the cash.
Well I better shower and get busy.

I have 3 DPC today, and may count them within 5!!! They are the worst, after all - give me a toilet to clean any day in exchange!
Wonder of wonders, I got in early exercise again when my ddad decided to take an early nap and convinced me he really meant it. When I get that chance, I do switch up my schedule and take it.
I've also been outside some today - a lovely day, though it's getting hot. I've been trying to determine which vine is which here, in a spot that we think caused dstepson a rash of poison-something last year. I may be zeroing in on one that is poison ivy, according to photos on the internet. Definitely found Virginia Creeper, but that's not it. Oops, reminds me, I promised Sammie ice water.
Had a sensible lunch. Laundry in.
Great win-win landscaping situation, Emptynester!
Indiana, can you explain that when it was delivered you were indisposed? That probably wasn't so much a dream as advance planning.
Wait a minute, Indiana, I re-read and wonder - do you now own the machine? Could you sell it yourself for a better outcome?
Ice for Sammie!

Indiana, that sounds so unfair to you. I am wondering how this all got started. Did the doctor order it? If you didn't want it, did you authorize it? If you didn't, it seems that you have an out, unless you accepted it and paid for it already. Sigh... life isn't the greatest sometimes, is it?
Let's see if I have 5 done yet:
desk work done including reconciling a big bank statement. I'm counting that as 2 since it took a while with bank statement.
1 guest bed linens washed and hanging up. that's #3.
Took the quilt rack out of bedroom and set it up in living room and organized that space. #4.
Dishes and tidying up kitchen #5. done!

Hooray - might not have my 5x5 done - but the taxes are efiled and out of mind. I still have to print off a copy for my records but my printer isn't cooperating. So I guess fixing it is next on my list.
But first I'm going to sit back and have a DDP and grab my Kindle.

Went for a walk with my sister, mostly set the table and have been for groceries. The potatoes are peeled and I'm baking a cake (from mix) for part of the dessert.
