Harriet: Nurse was just calling for clarification to present to Dr. I think I got my point across that the chest x-ray was precautionary for the fall but showed something that needed to be checked out and not part of the fall. I need to know if we need the CT now or in Oct. If I didn't get it across - I will try once more when she calls back.

The last of the weekenders are moving out this morning. So we will be the only ones in the campground tonight. Even the camp host has two days off, so although his RV is there, he has gone to his house about 20 miles away.

Breakfast and meds are done so it is time to head to the showers.

Today I am working my plan.
Getting on with my day and having some things to check off the list on my post on the prev. page felt great!

Good morning, villagers ~
I've spent the whole morning doing desk work, administrative follow-up to last night's meeting. Talk about having no obvious evidence for hours of work! :roll: :P

I will finish up some leftovers in the fridge for lunch. Supper is in the crock pot. Trash and recycle bins are due at the curb tonight, at least that will feel like something being accomplished. 8-)

Making lists of things I've promised dd so I don't sell them by accident.

Also made of list of stuff to be carried up to the garage on Friday.

And I've been dealing with email all morning. Responses to my garage sale ad and responding to the new minister.

Will time dusting and vacuuming the bedroom level. I believe it takes 30 minutes for both.

I woke up with a terrible sinus headache.
Need to s2s -- maybe that will help my head -- and then get busy.
Need to go to the post office, jewelry store, -- and hopefully -- visit my cousin. I baked cookies last night.
5:30 pm -- meet dmom for supper.
Also need to call pest control company to schedule termite inspection.

I'm kinda a zombie right now. I'm not working... I don't even SEEM to be working.

Well, that didn't work well.

It took 42 minutes. But that included a phone call with ds and dh (the movie they are going to doesn't start for 2 hours, they read the time wrong), replacing the bag in the vacuum, tidying the bathroom counter and tossing out some expired meds.

Oh well, lunch time now, then I'll strip the bed in the spare room, clean the bathrooms and begin work on the main floor. I dusted it yesterday but it needs vacuuming the kitchen and foyer floors need washing.

Done!
x a.m. routine
x many forms filled out and papers printed out to enroll GG in school
x called carpet cleaners - they're coming Friday at noon! Yay!
x went to school and turned in all paperwork; hopefully, that will expedite registration on Monday
x fielded a phone call and then sent a follow up email to another person re: moms group leadership
x also emailed small group re: meeting on Saturday

I'm having lunch now. Then, I'll:
- start a load of towels
- work in ds' room; progress was made last night. B/c he can't go through all his things, I'm boxing up most of them so he can go through them later. Some small baskets of items and notebooks of info he wants to save I am putting in the play room since there is lots of empty shelf space in that room. The bedroom is big enough that I don't need to completely empty it. I will leave the bookshelves full and just buy another small set of shelves to fit under one of the windows. I'm also going to buy a proper bedside table and perhaps a simple chair. I'm hoping to go shopping Friday afternoon, after the carpets are cleaned.
- leave at 2:40 to go tutor

Oh, Lucylee, feel better quick. (OKay) sorry for whatever is going on in your life right now.

I'll have to time my sweeping / vacuuming. It takes me longer because that perfectionism rears it's head when I do it. I most always get under the beds and dressers and couches when I can. Otherwise it doesn't feel done. Also, I have a total of 13 throw rugs to pick up and shake out. Some of them don't get done each time (guest bedrooms for instance) but the ones that get really sandy do. Last time DH went through with the big push broom he moved 4 kitchen chairs, all the rugs, box fan, wastebaskets, big basket with sheet music. Then even if we use a broom or dust mop, we need to bring out vacuum for the 2 area rugs.

We're having a bit of a problem around here. In Florida our dirt is sandy and it tends to make our ceramic tile a bit slippy. Not a problem for me, but it is for DH now. So we must keep up with this.

So far: had breakfast, remade bed, hand scrubbed & washed work clothes with roof tar on them :shock: fielded phone calls, cleaned out email box, printed off minutes. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm ready for a break.

* s2s, did Bible reading
* post office
* phoned jewelry store, no need to go there
* phoned termite people, had to leave message
* phoned dcousin, no one home (I think she has to go get her blood checked today; I may have to wait until tomorrow to see her)

And then dh says, "Do we want to ask dbil/dsisil to join us tonight, too, since we asked dmil?" :roll:
* sheesh *
I said, "NOOOO, I don't think so. Dbil/dsisil are not widows. When dmom has joined us w/dmil, we have not been dragging THREE extra people to the celebration."
* sheesh *
Besides, I don't think dbil/dsisil invite all of us everytime they do something with dmil. I know she has been at their house for supper when we were not included.
Why does everything have to get so involved?

Thanks for the good wishes, Harmony. I think I'm going to try to sleep a little more while I'm waiting on return phone calls.
My vacuuming problem is much like yours -- I think I don't really know how to just hit the middles. I mean, sometimes I do, but like you said, it doesn't feel done.

(((OKay))) (((LO)))

helia, you and your family are going to be such great hosts for the exchange student! I hope y'all enjoy her company as much as I know she will enjoy yours!

So Kathryn takes 30-40 minutes just for vacuuming bedroom level of house. That lady with the lemons must live in a shoebox.

Waving to all... BookSaver, Nancy, MT, Harriet, Dee, Lynlee, Twins, Ivy... and EVERYONE else!!!

I am looking for a calender app. That has Jewish holidays on it which ones do use or recommend.
