OKay, Last year when I had the sensitive tooth, the dentist gave me a prescription toothpaste for sensitive teeth Soothe Rx, and it seemed to help last year. I got another round of it early this summer when the tooth became sensitive again and was using it on the weekly cycle when the tooth became highly sensitive while on vacation. I normally use Sensodyne for sensitive teeth when not using the Soothe RX. I think it may be getting better gradually but it is still messing up my sleep. Oddly, it begins to hurt at bedtime - I suspect from grinding teeth?

This time:
-make bed
-s2s
-clean stove top
-straighten mbr and bath

And I think I'll be on the road after that!

I've exercised for a half-hour and can't decide whether to continue. Will be going into my next hour's plans, but it might be wise while I have the chance.

OKay's mention of chats with teachers reminds me. I had found a Braves Baseball t-shirt while at Goodwill and bought it for DangerBoy. He didn't know the team, wasn't impressed with the sport even (they are such a football-fan family). But his ddad gave him some info and showed him some tv footage, so he wore it one of the first few days of school. One of the teachers rushed to him and bragged quite a bit on his "great sports t-shirt" calling others to look - turns out her son plays for the expansion team for the Braves! So now he thinks Grandma is a genius. Well, duh. If everyone would just listen to me... ...

I still haven't heard directly from youngestdsisil or dniece about meeting them tomorrow. It was a message via oldestdsisil because youngest doesn't like to talk on the phone. I am proceeding as if I am and if I don't hear from them I will have a clean house and an extra clean Raggedy Ann room.

I have sensitive teeth and have used sensodyne for years! I don't typically have problems anymore, so i think it does help.

I'd love to see your Raggedy Ann room, Lilac.

I thought Twins would be able to guess it. We personally don't put a huge stock in standardized test scores, but it will be nice for dd17 to be able to put this (or more if that happens) on Univ. apps. To keep perspective, the cut off score in MI is not particularly high. .

I haven't done much other than respond to an email from moms group secretary and showered - and shaved. I'm wearing shorts today. It is sunny and clear and the cicadas are droning, a lovely late summer day.

Sombre news indeed to think about 12 years ago. Last year, I got into reviewing many videos taken. I won't do that this year. It was not good for me. . . .

Drinking tea, working on a.m. routine - even though I've missed the crossroads of the day.

Bedskirt is back on the bed and the sheets are almost ready for the dryer. Then will wash the comforter.

I have cleaned dh's bathroom. He does a great job of wiping down the shower doors and walls. He also keeps the mirror spot free and the counter wiped down. So it always looks nice and then when I think of it I clean the toilet, sink, mop the floor and anything else that needs done in there.

Our heat/humidity wave is supposed to break today with highs only in the 80s. That will help a lot.

I received disappointing news first thing this morning that I missed out on a paying gig working a spotlight at a fun concert this weekend. On the other hand, I was told by a couple of people whom I trust that the guy offering the job is a real jerk and no one likes working for him (which is probably why he had to offer to pay instead of using volunteers).

So it's probably just as well. If it's going to be cooler this weekend and not rain, DH and I will finally be able to get caught up on the yard work. It's a jungle out there.

Today I must run a bunch of errands. Leftovers from Monday and yesterday because I just didn't want to be out running around when the heat index was over 100.

Oops, just answered the phone because I thought it might be a call I've been expecting. (Usually I let the machine pick up everything.) It was a telemarketer, but he was nice and pleasant. Wow, I had forgotten that it is possible to make a sales call without being a nuisance. He didn't try to push or hard sell, said thank you we appreciate your business, and then let me end the call with no hard feelings.

Hello Dear Ladies,

Had a post and when I submitted it, it went poof. Oh well.

Sunny day again here.

All this week, DH has been out all day doing service calls. So I've been walking dogs, keeping Dbrother company and doing house work.

Downloaded some Motown music so The supremes, the temptations, Smokey Robinson, Donna Summer and Marvin Gaye have accompanied me while I dance around and do the house work. The music does help loosen up stiff joints.

Back to the dance floor.

I've s2s. And eaten breakfast and lunch. Yes, I'm slow moving today!

(Just remembered I cleaned our bathroom too, so there's something done, and I filled the travel vitamin dispenser for dh since he leaves on Saturday.)

Next up: I'm going to wash ds's dishes (actually my dishes but he's been hoarding in his room.) I put them in soak hours ago since they were going to be challenging to wash.

Good Morning, Villagers!

Yes, today's a very somber day. I hate to think of the horror of that day.

Today, so far I have:
- Taken my Synthroid
- Emptied the DW
- Fixed coffee
- Did Novenas, prayers and wrote in my journal
- Read obits, answered an email
- But first, I did s2s.
- Had breakfast.
- Did my QVAR inhaler
- Did my peak flow meter, got a good number, and am happy about that!
- Put dirty clothes in the utility room, started a load going
- Called DD with a tip on what to do with her estimated 500 books.
- Re-made the bed from the quick throw-back of covers this a.m.

My Plans:
- To do more walking, yoga, stretching
- To read the print-outs on 3 x 5 cards
- To take my detailed cleaning list, add minutes to do the jobs, and make cards for them.
- To try to finish my card system by bedtime- or anytime this week will do.
- To read about debt and other reading
- Christmas afghan crochet
- Write on a short story by hand.

My back's acting up, so will "baby step" the day.
