It has been 12 years since that awful day. If you have a flag, please display it. I need to get mine out right now.

Sombre day. I'll avoid news channels today, I don't need any reminders and certainly don't need to relive that day.

I'm up. Dh stayed quiet when he got up but I still woke up and dozed until he left the room and then dozed a bit until 7 and decided to get up then. I've biked (my knee is killing me so today is a good day to restart my exercises in earnest.)

Ds is up (surprise!) It is his first day off in a week and I expected him to sleep in since he didn't get home until 11:30 last night but his body flipped to days and he has a performance review today so he's up, has eaten something and is heading off for a run now. He has a half marathon in 11 days and hasn't run for over 6 weeks now.

I need to run 2 very quick errands at some point today. I have about 10 minutes worth of work still to do in the Raggedy Ann room. I will be washing all the bedding (sheets, pillow shams, comforter and dust ruffle) today as I am cleaning the rest of the house. Once the bedding is clean, dry and back on the bed, I will be done with that room.

Dh called last night. They didn't get to Myrtle Beach until 8 pm. The self proclaimed leader of the group changed the route on them and made a long ride, a lot longer. Oh well! Dh was excited that he could sleep in until 7 this morning and would have a shower in his hotel room. He has been getting up at 5:30 every morning so that he could get to the shower house and be ready to ride.

Better hit it..........

Oh, I regret not discussing this with dd15 before she went to school, Lilac. I'm sure there will be some incorporation of this into classes. She doesn't have a history class this semester, so I suppose it won't be specific, but probably will be part of even casual conversations. Well - I just took a second and emailed her.

It is also the day of my dfirstsisteril's hip replacement surgery. So I've emailed dd33 and ds28 requesting that they keep an eye on facebook and their emails, and also call their grandmother, possibly their cousin. I'll be getting a card into the mail today. I am disappointed in my get-well-cards and might decide to shop for another, or decide that finished is better than perfect.

Harmony - so that sister of yours came in and posted all about US last evening and didn't tell that she herself had had to be at the hospital waiting, worried about her dh???

((Sunny))!!! :| What are we going to do with you??? Hospitals are yucky. Let us know this stuff! How is dh feeling today? Hoping they are able to help him.

Well I take it back  Sunny did post, just in J and C, and I missed it.

((Harmony)) I have been wanting to post to you and also answer you about several things and I am just overwhelmed. Actually, I'm glad to hear you did crash and take a day off, BUT on the other hand very sorry to hear that it was necessary.

I am up earlier today and have already read the paper and taken the recycling out. (Lots to recycle, we were at the beach for the last pickup.) I'm heading south to see dsis today so need to get rolling. I asked dh to wake me up before he left this morning - I couldn't get myself awake enough to get up when he tried to wake me up, but I got up soon after. I also took benydryl last night about 8 p.m. so I got to sleep earlier than midnight last night. Sensitive tooth is still painful at times. I keep thinking that it will be better any day...

-change clothes and walk ddogs
-breakfast and meds
-clear kitchen counters and table
-temple related phone call
-make the bed

Good morning! I don't have to be out the door first thing this a.m. Nice! Actually, i was anyway. dh and i went for a jog around 7:10 a.m. It was still muggy. It's supposed to be hot again today.

I forgot that dd15 had an oboe lesson yesterday, so that took a good 1.5 hours out of my afternoon.

Today: I hope to get caught up on some things, some errands and some housework and paperwork. And i am meeting the craft coordinator at the church at noon to review the first 3 crafts. I hope to go through the moms group bins while I'm there; i should have done that in May when we ended for the year, but that was a busy time too. Then, I'll run my errands as i may need to buy some things for the moms group. I may/may not have a meeting at 7 pm tonight.

Discovered something yesterday, formally released today, and I'm proud of dd17. :) I had suspected so. That's all I'll say.

I'm sitting here sweaty and stinky so i'm going to s2s and get the a.m. routine done.

On my phone at rehab with dh. Will try to post a little. Just hard to use this as my eyes begin to give me fits. Cuop for today.

Dh is doing better but had to hVe more blood work yesterday since he'd gained 6# over the weekend. Have to go to Dr's office after rehab with papers to extend disability. He tried mowing our small lawn Mon but took many rests. Only about 40x60.

I am so missing here. Still can't figure out what's happening but keep trying. Partly wonder if it's my router as internet seems to go out often. But seem to be able to do everything else. If I try to lovin on my computer it asks me to register & then won't let me. Will try to take it somewhere else where there's wi-fi & see if it makes a difference.

Hoping Sunny's dh is better. Will try to check that out.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

RE: tooth pain. Awhile back I had a tooth driving me nuts. I went to dentist & Endodontis but neither of them could find a problem. Even after putting a cap on the tooth it still hurt. Then two of the hygienists recommended using toothpaste for sensitive teeth. It helped more than anything else and made a tremendous different in the pain level (reduced by 90%).

Next up -
** 3 minute PUPA in each room
** Vacuum middles
** LOL
