Almost noon and I'm just now getting my act together. I need to figure out priorities for the rest of the day. I have until dh gets home from bowling around 9 p.m. One thing OMM is that the temple notice of the annual meeting needs to go out soon. And it appears I need to be the one to get it together.

Nice day yesterday. I got dkids returns done except for refiling ds' if dh decides to do a ROTH for them, and I just need to file dd's. She never rec'd her W-2, but I had her last pay stub and her W-2 from the same employer for 2012 (the camp) so was able to piece the info together. Need dh to look at contributions and his bank stmts to see if there's more, and to find me the sales tax on his new car, and we'll be done.

After the tax returns I rested about 30 minutes, then started spreading the mulch outside. Was at it when dh got home; we will need a few more bags to finish up. I'm putting it down heavy for weed control. We sat outside for awhile in the sunshine and talked to next door neighbors, then went out for burgers. Very nice day, lots of sunshine and a good feeling from getting things done.

Wondering how Elizabeth is doing at the interview.

Bright / cloudy day here now, 5° colder than normal. Our spring has been cooler than usual so far. Yesterday was breezy but Sat. was drizzly all day long. Everything is greened up nicely.

Just puttering around today. Washed some things from bathroom and have them out on porch drying (putting away health care aids). Another cleanup in kitchen. Office work done.

DH is out working. Sigh... his limp is no better than before his operation. Some of that is his ankle which will never change, but some is muscles that have never healed. I suspect he didn't give them ample time to heal properly.

Doing rounds today. 45 min working, 15 something for me. Will see how that works.

Hope Elizabeth's interview is going well. Am sending good vibes her way.

OKay, I wrote this late last p.m., at PWYC for Sunday. When I was little, I had a loose tooth, bit into an apple, and out it came, into the apple, quickly and painlessly. You may want to try the apple approach.

I "sorta" didn't want to begin pre-Easter cleaning until the window washers came, but DH hadn't called them yet. He just called them, they said they'd BE HERE BETWEEN 2 - 3 P.M. So window sills are stripped, blinds are wide open, things are getting de-cobwebbed, and dusted, so this will kind of be a jump start on my pre-Easter cleaning. Clean windows make the entire home look clean. With DD and her male friend coming for Easter dinner, it'll make the house look so beautiful. I'm so happy.

The biggie on my list now is to clean the dining room china cabinet and when I'm done with that one, I'll do the entry way china cabinet. It's a long story how I ended up with 2 china cabinets. But I'd collected crystal vases, serving dishes and decorative dishes, so DMIL bought me a china cabinet for my b-day 1 year. Later, I inherited Nana's china, all 12-set pieces, not 1 chipped nor cracked nor missing. I had to store it underneath the older china cabinet, where you couldn't see it. Then, DMIL passed away, we inherited more beautiful items, so we bought another china cabinet, with doors and drawers in the bottom of it, for the dining room. I know some people might think this is all "clutter", but when I pass away, DD and DDIL and grands will get the contents and cabinets go to DD and DDIL. So everything is sorta "spoken for". ♥ I'm just saving everything for them.

I'm so glad the window sills are stripped, so after they leave, we'll get things back into order, will dust, dust mop more, if needed, and I can get on with life. I made my April book-reading list, too, before I found out the window washers were coming the same day as we called. We've used these men for 10 years, they're an awesome company, nice people, and easy to chat with. They always remember us, referring to us on the phone as, "Oh, yes! You're the folks with the Big Tree and forest!" We have a Douglas Fir tree, which measures 28-feet around the base. They left it, while logging in 1889 with oxen, because it had a swelled butt. It's amazing how high up the first branch is. So people from the cable company, to delivery men, neighbors, their friends, friends of friends, retiree friends, friends of family, all have been out the Big Tree Trail, to look at our tree. People remember us.

Choir was fun.

CM and CF invited us for Easter dinner so that's settled. I had planned a turkey so will bring that with us.

Lined up another viewing for sure on Wednesday. So far I have one at 10:15, 11 and 12. (Then a church meeting across town at 1:00!)

Making not a lot of progress here today... but we did get groceries last night and don't really have a lot to do beyond the ususal WHB & Focus tasks that are generally undone around here, unfortunately.

Started out the day in a panic.
After I called and made dmil a doctor's appt for tomorrow, I could NOT get dmil to answer her phone.
DH went over there and could not get her to the door. And guess what? He doesn't have a key to her house. That is stupid, isn't it???
FINALLY -- she did answer the phone -- said she was fine, just couldn't hear the phone in the back of the house.

Dbil called and wanted copies of daunt's bank statements, time to file some Medicaid papers for her, so we had to find those. I'll s2s in a few minutes and take them to his office.

Got a book from amazon today... Behind the Scenes at Downton Abbey... so I've been enjoying looking through that already.

We also went to see Divergent last night. It was a pretty good movie! Now I'll want to read the books before the 2nd part comes out in a year or so, right?

Back from that little round of errands. I am starting some iced tea to brew and need to do some rounds of work...maybe 45 and 15. Will give myself to TOTH and then hit it on some of these temple tasks.
