Good luck vibes being sent to Elizabeth for her job interview. When do your dparents arrive for their visit?

Dh leaves this afternoon for an overnight managers meeting at company headquarters. Tonight will be a dinner and then the meeting is tomorrow. He hates this part of his job.

The Morning Daily Card is done here. School run accomplished including a good bacon/egg breakfast for dd. Working in the office alongside HRH this a.m. We often marvel that we can stand each other, but somehow we can. The way he has the room set up now, we are at right angles to each other, and when dd is at her desk she is directly behind me, although the hutch of her desk also serves as space for two more of HRH's monitors.

Have printed my new laundry card sheet of 3 for the next quarter of the year and will get those onto cards today.

New Focus cleaning week is posted. Twins' Mom, I will avoid linking to the "p" site since sidetracking is often a result, but can't you just see how much fun that would be... ... no, no, not even thinking about it... ....

I also want to print out again a previous exercise schedule I'd typed that makes the most of just basic rehabilitative t tapp. Wonder if I could get that onto a card, too.

Very much need to discuss menus with HRH. I also need to be "mean" and remind him the trash cans are blown over this morning after our wild winds and he promised to tend to that.

Today, in theory, promises to be a real spring day here, with no peeking out in fear of bluster.

Good morning, Lilac. I'm up but not terribly 'with it' yet. Was awake from 1-4. Finally gave in and did some reading, THEN fell asleep until 7:40. Got up, though groggy. Now am sipping my coffee.

Put on a knee brace this morning, that I thought would give me more support. So far it's slid down to my ankle twice & it's still there. Guess I'll put the other one back on. I'm going back & forth between knee brace/ankle brace. Hoping to get both in shape so dd and I can go to "It's a Small World" in memory of dZoe on April 15th. DD had hoped to take at least a 1/2 day off, but then realized FCATs will be going on. Absolutely can't take time off during those. We will go even if I have to rent a wheelchair. It's the getting from the tram to where the wheelchairs are that's the problem.

Nice blue sky today. Saturday was a day of severe thunder storms and tornado watch most of the day. Glad I didn't have to go anywhere.

Saturday dd and I have a wedding/celebration to go to. Actually she's officiating at the wedding & I'll join her later for the backyard celebration. This is the 2nd marriage for the couple & it sounds like it's going to be a fun day. Love her like a daughter.

Going to dsisil's later this morning. Think we're going to B eall's O utlet -first time all year. At least it will give us something to do and I can tolerate the time.

Think I'm 'coming to' now so maybe I can get something done before I leave. I've been putting one bin, box, bag -something on the end of our bed each day to go through it and hopefully pare down what I'm taking north. All the time, trying to be more organized. Wish I had a storage area that I could lock. Anything I don't want gd to get into (should she come home & that's another whole subject ) I need to hide away under lock & key. Even things as mundane as paper clips, stapler, hole punch, etc, etc, etc. Have a bin I've been putting things in as I come to them that need to be packed for up north. Not as much as in the past though. Getting that somewhat slimmed down. I just don't want to forget anything. Also thinking to the future in case we don't return in the fall. Hate the thought of that and having to go through winter up there. People do it all the time, I'm just not used to it after spending several winters down here.

Think I'll get a LOL spinning and I'll be done for a week or so. Some things I'm just washing so I can pack them -heavier robe, etc.

Good morning! I never got back here whichever day I last posted. . .

Thinking of you at the interview today, Elizabeth! Really hope it goes well!

Yesterday was sunny and beautiful here! We got into the 50s. Yes, we still have large patches of snow on the ground, especially where it was piled high from shoveling/clearing spaces, but it is disappearing. Yay! I went for a jog late yesterday afternoon w/ dh, which felt good. Temps were in the upper 40s by that time. The park was absolutely packed with people out jogging and walking - and even grilling! I didn't think it was THAT warm. LOL! Everyone we reveling in the sunshine and warmer temps. We had a missionary couple from our church visiting yesterday, so I went to their open house from 6 - 7.

Saturday night, we got to sit at the same table as dfriend B and her dh at the engineering dinner! B and I sat next to each other and chatted the whole evening. It was so fun! No dancing this time, just a mock casino set up b/c there was a Las Vegas theme, apparently.

Still not much progress has been made on teaching. I had a good conversation w/ dh and S last night about the topic; one issue is that it is a large and very theological topic. How to address it in 2 weeks and construct my time to enable the women to put feet on it in a meaningful way will be a challenge. Another issue is that what I want to teach on doesn't necessarily match well with the specific "topic title" I've been handed for one of the weeks. I think I need to be free to teach what I feel led to teach and not be constrained by the title.

I am finishing my 2nd mug of tea, have checked emails, grabbed a couple photos that B sent me from Saturday night, have perused some of my past teachings looking for a Scripture.

GG is thinking of joining our high school's women's crew team. It practices daily from 5:15 - 7:30 and will travel many weekends later this spring to regattas out of town and even out of state. She needs to find a car pool or something b/c (1) I'm not available to drive her there M and T (Hebrew and dd15's oboe lesson), and (2) I'm not thrilled with the potential daily task of 2 more car trips, fairly poorly timed in terms of my daily schedule. If there's no car pool, this would add another 5 hours+ to my weekly schedule. Her friend thinks she can join a car pool from our neighborhood. . . we'll see how this plays out. She is giving this a try this week, no commitment yet.

My day:
- a.m. routine
- teaching prep
- perhaps Hebrew translation; if I can go to class today, I will need to leave half way through
- help GG fill out forms for crew, which she is going to try this week
- if she doesn't have a car pool to get to crew practice today, I will have to take her; it interferes with Hebrew class
- Hebrew class, first half?
- Dd15 to synchro team banquet 6 - ?
- prep for tutoring tomorrow a.m.

Off to finish the a.m. routine.

Harriet, I had seriously thought about going this time because today is dgs19s 20th birthday and the meeting is in his college town. Dh told me it would be a long day tomorrow, because there is only so much shopping in that town. Dd1 and dsonil had went to spend the day with him yesterday. If they had not done that I would have went, no matter how long the day tomorrow.

I am up have not done much, spiffed the kit. A tiny bit.
#1 &#2 Dgds were going to come today but pushed that back to Wed. That was my mojo. For bwp.
Still need to do chicken chores, they like the next set up for spring with nest boxes outside.

Morning y'all..

Up early, I don't know why except the sun is rising earlier each day and I tend to get up with the sun. Always have liked that.

Yesterday I worked on my flower garden and tended to some plants and trees around the backyard. Will be out and planting my desert flowers in just a little while before the heat shows up.

I went to the dermatologist the other day and had 4 spots burned off my nose area. Last time she removed 11 spots off my face. Also had a spot burned off my chest. The doc. biopsied it and I will get the results in a week or two. Skin cancer runs in my mother side of the family so I'm always pretty careful about being in the sun. I will slather my face with really good sunscreen that has zinc in it...makes me look like the Lone Ranger with a white mask...and of course a big hat.

Morning routines done, one doggie fed, foot prints were picked up last night, one coffee down, nuther ready to go. The heat is on, so I'm off....

I'm up and at it. Was on the treadmill when ds messaged me to talk on the phone. I was at the end of the workout so we dropped everything and talked with him for an hour. I miss having him around. Sent him floor plans and a link to the apartment photos so he can get a better sense of the space. He was surprised how large it was, somehow that failed to come across in my FB posts.

Because of the phone call, I'm now running way behind. I also have a headache I'm trying to banish. It came on when I turned out the light last night and was still there in the morning.

I'm going to reorganize the spice drawer this morning. It has to move down one because the current drawer is 1/16th of an inch more shallow than the lower drawer (they look the same size!) The difference it the bottles work standing up in the lower drawer, otherwise they jam when I try and close the drawer. The savings in space is about 1/3 of the drawer and we have less drawer space in the new place so I'm cutting back where I can.
