No rain in our forecast today. The run was less slick and somewhat bettervthis morning. When I was in the chicken coop I looked under the broody hen and found two more baby chicks that's three total the two new ones look like New Hampshire reds they have a hint of red on them so cute and fuzzy! Now I need to get on with my day my B.W.P. lunch plans eggs are boiling excetera.

I've also been thinking about all you and dd younger are going through, Blessedw2. On my on-going prayer list. Hope she can start having better results and not setbacks. Praying for you for good answers with her Dr.

As someone who has been carefully healing herself, I'm frustrated at the setback Blessed is going through. Grrrrr!

I've downloaded ToDoist and entered it all into that. Made up dates to go with things. My goal was to find software and get it up and running in an hour and I did it. Not keen that it is cloud based but I needed something in a hurry and that fit the bill.

Am s2s and the bed is made. Breakfast is done. Email is handled (my minister friend had a favourite parishioner die unexpectedly and he needed me to forward the news to one of my contacts and now I'm emailing him back to give him support since he's shaken.)

Soaked my toe (after cleaning my feet first.) Harriet: your sunshine comment is a hoot. You do realize that our next sunny day will be Friday and the temp will be about -5 that day? I don't fancy healing the fungus by freezing off the toe! (I'm guessing you meant once I'm on the ship but at the point, I'm hoping to keep the fungus hidden since it is ugly.) Everything says to keep the toe exposed if possible but I can't because I need the good walking shoes. My feet are in sandals right now but I'll be changing that in a minute because they are cold.

OK, back to work. No point making up a list and devising a system if I don't do the work!

All of a sudden I'm getting unwanted texts with links (which of course I don't click on). Seem to be pharmacy related. Not sure if I've caught a virus on my phone -today entirely possible I guess.

Hi everyone! Girls' Night Out last night was pretty dismal. No arguments or problems, just lots of homework. The entire visit was spent on pages and pages of it. For the last page, I scribed DD's answers, otherwise she would have been up all night. Technically, this is no longer allowed, it is not in her IEP. However, her teachers all know she is dyslexic and had scribes in elementary school. Besides, they will know the answers are hers, because she quotes the book (with proper attribution). An adult would paraphrase. The X helped move her new curio cabinet into her room, where it looks fabulous. However, it is extremely unstable and will need attachment to the wall. Not sure if I want to drill into antique furniture, I may use velcro, which was designed to keep things upright. I kept myself on task after she left, finishing the minutes for the special meeting, church webwork, and LOLs. I still got to bed too late. Fell asleep on the train, but did not miss my stop. Much pick up needs to be done in the house, FlyLady's zone is the kitchen, which does need it.

At payroll, I still cannot duplicate the problem I am supposed to fix. Have an email to the requester to find out how to get to it. There are other tasks to keep me occupied, but that one has been pending a while and I want it GONE by the end of the day.

Tonight is the animal org board meeting. I will have to confess I have not arranged any press releases. Guess I will start on that tomorrow. We have a craft lunch for Valentines day at payroll. Should be fun.

I am off to transcribe some notes from a meeting this morning. Yes, I spend quite a lot of time transcribing notes.

HI! back from uncles. d brother is helping me by hiring help full time for d uncle for 1 week (night and day) what a relief.
tomorrow I pick him up but I still have to set up his food.

dd younger texted me and the entire office is upset with the doctor- they had a meeting with him last night. The OT/PT's/the biofeedback doctor and the nurses all have apologized to dd and have been checking up on her all morning. Which is good for support for dd. I go this afternoon... my goal is that doctor and his 2 interns learn something about this disorder that will help them with other patients and that dd younger learn to say no if she knows that it will be a devastating result - she also made the comment to them that they tag teamed with each other... maybe they will learn something from this. Knowledge doesn't always mean truly understanding. The doctor admitted that much of the work done with CRPS is a hit or miss process. Unfortunately with these patients ... they learn to deal with a lot of pain and if they say that their pain level is a 9 - it means the pain is off the chart.Studies show that many people don't understand that they may be able to move the area but the pain that follows is awful. Many of these individuals live in silence because of others not believing that the pain exists. dd wasn't depressed as much as in extreme pain and loosing some trust in her physician. So it will be a good learning experience for all. (should be)

I have to finish dinner and head out soon.

Well morning is gone knitted up a guage swatch.
Colleted and scrubbed chick feeders and waters took longer than I thought it would.
Boiled and peeled eggs made tuna salad for lunch.
Dug out some weeds collected eggs.
ToddlerN is here now.

Now I am trying think of what is next. Room by room pick up before heading to the basement to start laundry would be good table needs attn. Somewhat improved.

The fog lifted, it's dry, sun breaks are supposed to come, but haven't arrived yet.

I'm doing LOL up, I mended Dkitty-cat's mouse catnip toy, sewing closed 2 holes on it, where stuffing stuck out. I trimmed up the loose threads, on the ears, too. It looks much better. I didn't realize there were than many tiny threads loose on it. It looks brand new, too. We've been playing and playing today, back and forth... she and me. ♥ ♥

I did my P. T. stretches, stripped the bed sheets off the bed, and since 1 sheet gets balled up into the other, in the dryer, every time we dry them together, we're drying them separately now. They are fleece knit sheets, are so comfy, from Costco, and what a dream it is, to sleep in them, too.

Almost went in to cut my hair off today. BUT, since I curled it, teased and combed it and lifted it, I'm really happy with it again. Told Dsis about using my electric rollers again and what I was doing. Now, she's so excited, because she's trying to find an electric roller set there. She thought it'd be fun to "play" with her hair, too.

I dumped all of the trash, from the house, into the kitchen garbage, with DH takes to the curb today; garbage pick-up tomorrow.

DD and I talked on the phone a bit last night; then Dson called us. It was so nice to talk to them both. Got to talk to one DGS, too. Just turned 6. ♥

The Wisdom Wednesday, today, will be good. I want to crochet, read/write poetry, work on the house, etc...

Hi everyone!

Had the day off due to "not enough vehicles" at work. Today is the first day that I have felt good in over a week.

I went through my closet and my health and beauty aids and tossed a lot of stuff. Some went right into the garbage and I have a trunk full of donations. I have donated almost all of my clothing since August. Almost all of it was black and oversized. Now I have less than 10 black things other than socks and underwear.

As far as makeup, all I have left is one mascara and 2 lipsticks. I tossed anything I haven't used in over a year, plus almost all of the cleansers/moisturizers and magical wrinkle removing types of things.

I have been on a roll and now it's time to do the dishes.
