Forsythia is what I miss. I'll drive by the house today and look at my old ones.

Washer load is in the dryer. I've styled my hair and had breakfast. Also reloaded the vitamin container.

I'm going to OMM all that needs to be done onto a 2 week calendar I've printed off the internet and then I'll get to work on accounting.

Harriet: it is like Pi Day, it falls on the same day each year. (Unlike Easter.)

Calendar OMM is done. No excuse to not get at the paper sorting now. I'm giving myself a tummy ache over worry about it.

Today I am cutting myself some slack as well as for ds. I am going to work slowly with breaks to love on Moses.

-clear kitchen counters
-refill meds for the week, take my meds
-put together stacked drawers from IKEA yesterday and see if they will fit in pantry

Good morning everyone! Here is my TADA: Carquest is over. I have bought the used 2013 Journey with 12200 miles on it. Here's what's funny though. I took it to help out at the animal org fundraising yard sale after my cat clinic shift. BING! Charging system light turns on! I get to location without stalling, pull out manual, and it says 'recommend do not drive, service immediately'. My guess was alternator, but I had to call them to come get me because I did not want 'you break it you bought it'. I was WAAAAAY across town, so it took them a while to get there. Meanwhile, my cats were still at clinic waiting for me to pick them up. I had to arrange one of the other volunteers to meet me at the dealer. We put them in my old car, I took them home, picked up DD13 (who I had told to go ahead and eat), then BACK to the dealership to see about financing. It was the alternator, so I bought it. I have a new car in the shop and am driving the wagon, which technically belongs to the dealer now. They offered me a loaner, but I wanted to do a good cleanout of the wagon. And in another TADA: we found DD's Dropkick Murphys guitar pick from her backstage experience.

Sunday was odd, because there are 3 Sunday school classes between DD and I that we could attend. ALL were cancelled that day! So, she read and I crocheted until the service. After that we alternated videos, car cleanup, and stuffed animal sorting. DD sent one box of animals to giveaway, six bags to the shed, and is left with only four boxes in her closet. Now we can move some stuff on her bookshelf and get room for the stuff on the floor that she cannot fit anywhere. (Too many toys!) I also finished scanning stuff from a library book that is due today, pulled a bag of weeds (many more to go), and delivered a bunch of giveaways to Goodwill.

Tonight's tasks are:
Return library books
Deliver old glasses to Lions Club box
Church webwork (must be done soonest since next week's picnic is postponed due to organizer's illness)
Email check (way behind and there is animal org stuff I need to deal with)
Finish scan of will, add a notes file, and mail copy to my parents
LOLs
See about rescheduling my vacation week - it is the same week that the family I want to see is out of town!

It will be nice to have a car that will get me to the campsite and back, and in air conditioned comfort!

This weekend was magical in the Niagara region. The forsythia was already out and the willow trees have started with their particular shade of yellow-green. Wayne told me to look at the cherry trees on Saturday and to remember what they looked like. On Sunday we drove past the exact same farms and the difference was astounding! Not to mention the smell. Mmmm... cherries! The leeks are also ready this weekend.

First few done. Got mom's letter and gift off in post today. Watering now so I can do more weeding later. I spiffed up the kitch fed hens, s2x. Breakfast x.
Next up dump trash.

First thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a day filled with laugher, fun and love. What more could a girl ask for.

I am working on my desk for a while then I need to run errands.

I am an outlaw ...My driver's license exspired my birthday and I haven't renewed it yet. Shame, shame, shame...the good news is Sweetie promised to bail me out of the pokey if I end up there. I forsee a hassel when I got to renew it as I need to change my name..still under my maiden name,,, as well as get my picture taken. I've never taken on my married name as professionally I am know under my maiden name. I told Sweetie long ago if he wanted to share last names he was welcome to mine. I have always hated the idea of giving up my identity ...see I really am a rebel, but after applying for social security it became a legal issue. Couldn't hyphenate my last names as the SS office said that would cause many headaches. So now I am Cowinke Ramblinrose Sweetie. Of course going on medicare meant I had to use my married name since it is connected to my SS# so I did the same thing.

It stormed last night and we're suppose to get more this afternoon. So nice of Mother Nature to water my sunflowers for me.

Sweetie finally sold our other house and the closing is nexty week. The buyer is going to renovate and then rent it. I still have a few things I need to bring over to this house. Also there is a bedroom and dinningroom suite that I want to donate to a childrens group home to resale. The buyers told us they would dispose of anything we left, but I want to donate the furniture so the home could make some monies from it.

Other than that there's not much I need to focus on. I did laundry yesterday and cleaned the bathrooms this morning. The rest of the house is in good shape.

Excited for Elizabeth's new car and NAMESAKE ...there's royalty in the house..Princess Charlotte ELIZABETH Diane...What a name to live up to, but I like the idea of honoring so many.

It sounds like Mr. Dee is doing alright with recovery directions and receiving enough meals (I think I read that last week). ((Dee))
Hmmm..... I have a load of clothes washed on Saturday that still hasn't been put away. I also need to take down coats to the dry cleaners. I think it is safe to put them away for the year.

The forsythia here are in full bloom! The bushes around town are very pretty. Our own set of infamous bushes (regular phone calls from the neighbor about them) is blooming very nicely, perhaps the most intensely since we moved here! Our magnolia is blooming too. Leaves are appearing on the trees. We do have a lilac bush, but dh trimmed it back to the ground last spring. I'm not sure why? It is coming back, but I don't think it will bloom this year. I do love the scent of lilac. Our viburnum bushes will be blooming soon. I love their smell too. They're right by the front door, so when I walk in or out of the door, I will get a wonderful whiff.

I've been on track today. I have:
- had a QT
- checked email and web sites
- done s2s and self-care
- tutored R
- called in dd16's absence this morning
- gone to the Pedi's office
- driven home and back again from the pedi office to pick up the band camp forms that had been forgotten at home
- finished the appt. All is well, though the pedi would like to see dd16 eating something for bfast (me too) and maybe using a roller backpack instead of carrying a heavy one on her back. Back issues seem to be muscular so dd16 has been given exercises for them. 5'2" is her full adult height. She is 1/2" taller than dd19.

- boiled 6 eggs; dd16 said she would eat a boiled egg for bfast. The pedi said some protein in the morning would be good.
- sent out several moms group emails
- emailed my director; my available hours have increased.

- go to the groc. store
- email moms group steering committee re: meeting details next week

Later, I'd like to change the sheets on the bed, finish laundry, go for a walk, maybe get the various files on the desk organized.

Hello again! Lunch is eaten and some code fixes are done. Many more are still needed. I may stay later tonight since I was late this morning due to stomach issues. I just realized there is something very important I must add to my list: determine what I need to pack and/or buy for the upcoming camping trip.

Did I mention I placed foster cat Keesha yesterday? In about two weeks, Luigi will arrive to take her slot. He is in dire need of socialization. Maybe he can learn from my usual suspects.
