Hi! It sure is Sunny here today. Hot and humid. Quiet here too. Nobody to chat with. So I am getting caught up and coming here for conversation! Texting with Sunny too, I guess we are missing our "together" routine!

So far: cleaned off desk, 3rd LOL is in the washer. Other ones hanging up. DH's new navy work shorts had to be pre-washed by themselves to get all the extra dye out. My QT was truly quiet today, nobody doing their's beside me. :( I will have to get used to this.

Yesterday we were blessed that we made it to the airport without any mishaps, through a lot of traffic and unfamiliar roads. Same coming home. The trip around their stadium up there was slow with a lot of traffic almost at a standstill. DH was grumpy as the day wore on till we stopped for food in a close town to here. Amazing how happy he was at that! Traffic was too bad to pull over and get into a restaurant up there. I guess we did come back during their rush hour. Parking lot at the airport was packed. DNephew walked me over to my car...I guess he thought I might be lost, but I was only about 6 cars from where I thought it was. I had more trouble getting the ticket machine to work...or rather getting me to understand HOW it worked! I consider anything new I did good experience to tackling more things later on. Better than getting old and stoggie.

Ok, left to do: Prep dinner, 2 rooms to mop; maybe go out and buy a few things on the list, milk, soda, etc., clean out my email box.

I've been reading, even when not posting. Thinking about all the family needs expressed lately. BBL

Got fuel in the rain so it is a free truck wash as well!
Pleased that my guess was good on how much to prepay for a half tank.
Got a few items for a low carb lasagna, they did not have spaghetti squash so I got a sweet potato & bacon!
That will be interesting.
Got the last container of one my fav. orange cream ice cream flavors, found a good pork roast to put in crock pot for pulled pork.
 Early bird gets the good roast!

Rain walk with ddog around the block done.

Home from the grave marking! It was bug spray I forgot! It was a pretty cemetery on a hillside in a rural area. There was plenty of shade and plenty of little bees - we used to call them sweat bees. There were several people there who were descendants.

On to the river!

I never thought of bug spray d twins! hope you didn't get too bit up! we also call those bees: sweat bees - bee-live it or not we were attacked by them when we ran across a nest. it didn't hurt much but they sure did swarm us when dd younger was little.
I am glad you had a lovely visit at the cemetery. it's amazing how long your family has been in America. I find the genealogy so fascinating. I would never be able to do it but I still find my, and other peoples, genealogy so interesting!

enjoy the river!

d Nancy - the truck looks spiffy after the nice rain truck wash!
lol - "early bird gets the good roast"

hi d harmony! I love that you two enjoy each other so!
yay on your work!
I consider anything new I did good experience to tackling more things later on.
well done!

hello d everyone.

dh and I got a little snippy at each other - nothing much and we both laughed at what we got frustrated with.

did dh's bathroom - definitely needs a daily round again
all but the aloe plants that were in his bathroom during the work died bc they didn't get watered. I thought he was doing it. They are all dead as a door nail.

I added to my list later list:
bring all the dead plants downstairs and dispose of them.
put the pots away
toss the rug with the nails in it that have been there since march.
put the lamp in the car to donate

I need to rest
I think my sugars are off.

It IS sunny here and HOT (but not quite as bad as the past few days; they say the humidity is lower for the weekend -- it will be scorching again next week, just in time for some of us to be sitting out at swimming lessons, LOL.)

I don't know if the sheets are getting changed or not... hasn't happened yet. I'm just dragging today. DH got all stressed out last night with computer, then I over-reacted when he asked me to help him (not about helping, but WHEN I helped, he kept offering "instruction." I finally told him that people who didn't know HOW to do something shouldn't criticize those who are trying to help them. :P  ) Anyway. It was not a pleasant evening and dh has gotten to the point that he physically cannot deal with stress like this. So he didn't sleep well and is still miserable today (not mad at me, just physically, he feels bad all over. Whether it is all in his head or not, he truly feels awful. And his mood always affects my mood, it seems.)

We've swapped kids with the other grandparents, dgs is here now...
I talked to dmom (who went to the grocery store on her own and got the few groceries she needed!)
I talked to dfriend's husband. I am not much comfort to him, I'm afraid, because he starts crying and then I start crying. I did get him to talk about his grandson a bit and tell me a little about what sort of work he's doing, etc. I think he appreciated me calling, though.
S2S & washed hair.

Need to reconcile bank statement.

I think I'll read for awhile.

Waving to all!
Tomorrow is another day.

I peeled and cut up the sweet potato for my recipe I will be making later on maybe tomorrow not sure yet.
Jeep got a free wash when I was out the next time.
Went to the farmers mkt. and got handmade soap lavender & vanilla scent, plus. dog bones.

Busy day here. I just folded some of that laundry. It's too humid for the rest to be dry yet.

Went to the store and my list of 4 things turned into a cartload. I managed to get home before the rainstorm. Dinner and dishes. Running the dishwasher now. I had cleaned out the refrigerator and also rearranged the pantry.

Now I'm really tired so I quit for the day.

What a nice surprise when I read the title for today. Thank you!

Hello everyone. It was very windy here today, and cooler than it has been.

My plane arrived a little after 6p.m. and we finally were home at 10 p.m. I spent some time today unpacking and putting stuff away. Dgrd-H, her fiance and dgrson-C came this afternoon to visit. Dgrd-H made her bourbon chicken recipe ddil made peanut butter pie (dson's favorite) dessert. We are just sitting here and visiting now.

It's nice to be home, but I will be missing my DSis, too .
