Ha! I like that one, Twins! I was just thinking, I really should try my best to start the week off strong, because my battery sure does run down as the week progresses.Rest is required for growth.
I did wash a load of clothes today and have them hanging to dry, and I've got my clothes together for weekend.
Wrote check for water bill and texted dfriend, (my oldest, dearest friend,) to show her how I am apparently dyslexic -- her Christmas card was returned to me today and I had reversed two of the numbers in her address.
Talked to dmom; she sounds better today.
DGS has a ballgame tonight.
She was 89 years old, and had the distinction of having the longest continuous membership in our church. Just a precious, special lady. She was a very attractive woman all of her life, and her inner beauty gave her a true light that made everyone who knew her love her. She was in the choir when dh and I married, and was one of the first people who made me feel "at home" in my new church. DS said at the funeral, our pastor told that she had written a check to the church on the day she died, and it was received yesterday, the day of her visitation.
I'm so glad I went to that luncheon one of the ladies had for our new pastor last summer, because she was there and that was the last time I talked with her. She had not been in church, except very occasionally, since we shut down for Covid.
(((Harmony)))... "not yet" --- bless your heart...
I have not made any resolutions this year. I am trying to exercise 3-4 times per week, and do better with more "intentional" Bible study.
I never drive without sunglasses either. DH NEVER wears sunglasses -- says they give him a headache! I don't know how he manages. I just cannot stand the sun glaring in my eyes. I rarely even go outside without them! (Of course, lately, we've had so much rain and clouds I haven't needed them, but I never get in the car without them, "just in case.")
Boy... that's a good one too. I definitely need to remember that.-Thoughts aren’t facts and can be altered.
