Mmmm... I love frosted mini-wheats. The MAPLE ones are absolutely addictive for me. I truly believe I could eat the entire box in one sitting. (I never HAVE, but it's a wonder!)
Dare I ask, Kathryn, why doesn't your dsil want you to use the shop-vac in the car?
I really need to clean our car, too, but that is low-priority this week.
This week (and next) will be crazy weeks:
* both dgrands will spend the night
Tues-Thurs (ds & ddil are going to Nashville to celebrate her birthday)
*
Wednesday, I am committed to doing the Wonderful Wednesday trip with church, which will include about 1.5 hours (round trip) in church bus and afternoon outdoors at a farm/zoo
*
Thursday, dh is committed

to doing towel laundry which is always a ridiculous all-day thing... shaking my head...
*
Friday, I am committed/halfway promised to take dgrands swimming
*
Friday evening, we are hosting ddil's birthday party for family (but all I have to do is clean house to "good enough" condition, & order and pick up cake)
*
Friday night, dgd MAY want to spend the night again by herself, but after being away from ds & ddil three nights, she may be ready to go home
*
Saturday night, dgs will almost certainly want to spend the night
*
Sunday -- church, etc
*
Monday -- prep for our one-night trip to Atlanta
*
Tuesday/Wednesday -- we will be in Atlanta, and I am honestly looking forward to it, except I always end up driving the stretch from Birmingham to Atlanta, which is very nerve-wracking in mid-afternoon traffic.
Today, so far I have done my QT, Bible reading... weekly chore (2nd load of laundry is in washer now)... zone chore/exercise (ONE HOUR pruning shrubs! I'm counting that as exercise, too.) DH and I also went out for supper.
I slept really, really
extremely late even for me, but obviously I needed it. I also had some of the strangest dreams EVER. Suffice it to say, the high light of the dream was getting lost, far from home, while riding a motorcycle with dgd, dh, ds, and myself somehow all on one. and seeing escaped circus animals (monkeys and a lion) at a really rough looking service station where I needed to, but refused to, use the restroom. The low light, LOL, was riding through motorcycle down the halls of a questionable motel and finding an even worse restroom. (I guess the main interpretation would be that I definitely needed to use the restroom by the time I got up?)
I was going to wait until my new habit tracker was a little further along, but I'll go ahead and mention my July "resolutions" here.
I am tracking seven habits:
Bible reading
Exercise
Daily/Weekly Task
Extra/Zone Task
Reading for Pleasure (not counting daily newspaper)
Gratitude Journal
Family Time (not counting when it's just dh & me)
I haven't had even one day where I checked all seven yet, but I'm doing pretty well. It's helping me to stay on track, I think. I use a different color each day & I like seeing the colors fill in.
I'm also trying to be more mindful of drinking water and marking that in my planner.
I need to try to answer an email before I turn the computer over to dh.
