this morning is going by way way too fast!
mom is not feeling well - I think my family are getting colds. Mom sounds good but she has been having a runny nose the last couple days. we had to take away her meds bc she was taking her night time meds early in the day but it has a blood thinner.
Heading over there now with some tylonel, her meds and breakfast!
She fell asleep in her chair until she woke up. :(
she woke at 4:30 and walked around her apartment until almost 6:00 just wandering and is now in bed again. :(

She was here until 10:00pm as she loves watching murder she wrote and if she goes back earlier she doesn't do well without our company. If she comes back here permanently I won't be able to keep this schedule unless she moves in with us.

The Good I learned: mom enjoys her time at my house now - How did that happen?! :D
if she comes home next summer I will talk to my brother and see if I can set her up here as It will be way too hard for me if she stays in her apartment.

waving at all of you! going to mom's.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

My 4th hour of the day is history.
Accomplishments -
** Hourly steps done.
** More weedeating outside of the garden area. I do weedeating in small time frames. When my hand or arm muscles start feeling tired then I stop and do something else.
** Push mowed a round. I mowed over the area that I weedeated so the bagger will pick up the remnants and make it look neater.
** Another log added to the fire pit. I do enjoy poking and rearraigning burning logs in the fire pit. I like smelling the wood burning.
** Chatted with DH while he is slicing up a ham that I cooked earlier. We will put most of the ham into the freezer in meal size portions. I'll use the ham bone in a pot of beans to cook in the next couple of days.
Reward - Putting feet up in the recliner while enjoying a cup of tea.

Home from haircut and it always looks fabulous when she does it, lol. I don't take as much effort with it. While out (perhaps procrastinating?) I got gas in the car, went through the car wash, and went to pet store for a special squeaky for dMillie. Neighbors told me that Boston destroyed Millie's "Big Squeaky" and I found two replacements. I shouldn't leave it outside but if I have it in my hand out there she wants it thrown. So we'll have to take good care. Also got some treats for her.

So now I need to get myself going. I'm going to CUOP online a bit while I have an iced coffee. Also log into the webinar for the end of it. Starting at BOTH....who is with me?

d twins! finding a special squeaky toy for dog - priceless- :D anything to keep our d dogs happy and busy is always wonderful!
your hair ----- BEAUTIFUL!
enjoy your iced coffee

yay d lady!!!!
wonderful on your 4th hour of the day! well done!!!

I am home again - I did feed mom, gave her, her morning meds and tylonel. She is so funny - she is perfectly sound when talking to her and said if she is hungry she will go in the fridge and make something; but I do know she would forget her meds or not eat - in a heartbeat - bc she forgets. She said she took tylonel this am but there is none in the apartment - I looked. :? She was friendly and polite. I had to laugh bc this is not the feisty woman I know and am used to. I like this version :D :D :D

I am making sloppy joes for dinner - maybe home made fries as mom likes those - cucumber salad and nice salad. I am not a big meat eater but mom/dh/dd older are.

I think I will join sweet d lady on an hourly pursuit of action!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

i didn't set my timer for the correct time to end that round, so I worked over before I realized it. I've done lots of different things, made the bed, arranged some flowers, tended to laundry (folded, rebooted) and now I'm cleaning the inside part of the washer that dispenses the detergent. This has to be the worst design ever.

Lots to do here. Back at it.

On our way to College Town. Everyone seems happy and healthy, which is answered prayer. Last night dgs slept through most of ds’ birthday party. He was just exhausted. Ds said he had awakened around 3:00 am before school yesterday.
Today he’s fine. His class went to the park, and when I got there, he was walking along the track with the teachers. I asked him why he wasn’t playing with the children and he said he had been; he had just gotten tired of playing. I hope he mixes well enough with other kids. Sometimes I do worry about that.

We still have no real idea what dnephew plans for tonight. \o/
Tomorrow is another day.

We got some rain. Hurray! It's not enough but it's refreshing and at least dampened the yard. We need to do some work where the brown spots have been. Ddog has been using that as a place to make herself a little depression and it will be muddy and bare if we don't reseed and water. I don't know why dh has been so opposed to increasing the sprinkler time in this drought.

I cleaned glass/mirrors in our bathroom, in the DR, then the french doors to the screened porch. I still need to do the big window where the bird hit. (Should take a step ladder out there soon, while window is wet from rain.) I vacuumed on the screened porch, except where it was wet, dusted tables, etc. out there. I used the little vacuum and did the cushions on the couch out there too. The dog loves it there, obviously. OH, also vacuumed rug in great room. Lots of dog fur there too.

I need to go upstairs to the guest bedroom this next round.

I'm falling behind on documenting what I did each hour.

5th hour of the day is gone.
Accomplishments -
** Hourly steps done
** Harvested 51 peppers from one Carmen plants. We have eaten dozens of peppers from this plant during the growing season. I didn't keep records but wouldn't be surprised if this one plant grew 100 peppers. I definitely want to include Carmen Peppers in next year garden.
** More weedeating done.
** Divided the ham into 5 meal size portions and packaged them. Put 3 of them into the freezer and the other 2 went into the refrigerator.
Reward - Stretching out in the bright sunshine while intentionally relaxing muscle groups one after another. The warm sunshine makes my muscles feel like they had a massage. They are like limp noodles afterwards.

6th hour accomplishments and reward =
** Hourly step goal achieved.
** Drove 10 miles to next town with DH for weedeater string. Came home with that and a couple pots of mums, 100lb of pine shavings, 50lb of rabbit food, 2 chicken strip dinners (for DS15), 5 hamburgers (for ready to eat stash), frozen yogurt and bag of pecans. Went for one item and bought much more. Sidetrack much?
Reward - Beautiful Mums!

7th hour accomplishments -
** Hourly step goal done.
** SUV unloaded and everything put away.
** Visited with DS15 while he ate lunch
** I cooked 10 chicken tenderloins to have on hand for quick meals.
** Fella that built our fence came to look at the gate problem. He is going to get some parts and make modifications to these heavy gates. If I understand his thoughts for new design, the gates will be on wheels.
Reward - feet up, fresh glass of tea, and enjoying lunch while CUOP

I'm still sitting here but I'm back to work in a minute. DH came in bearing things from Costco. We have conferred about our dinner (salmon, a green salad, perhaps butternut squash?) He's gone back out to get some fescue grass seed to try to undo some of Millie's backyard damage. I made a list of what I need to focus on:
-upstairs guest bedroom, straighten, vacuum and dust, clean bathroom, check supplies. estimated 45 min?
-kitchen floor, sweep and damp mop 30 min?
-windows, outside of picture window, inside of window in stairwell. 15 min?

I don't have any idea whether my estimates are good, but instead of a little here and little there, I need to focus on those things until finished.

I also had some lunch while talking to dh. And off I go....
