WTG, all! You're on the second page already and getting so much done!

I had body work at 10 a.m. - hope that work on my foot will help. He also worked on my wrist to loosen it up. It's been hurting lately, I forget that it might be the weather. I did a round of errands after: grocery, Lowes for pansies, post office for HOA, bakery for dessert for tonight, and car washed. I'm thinking since I'm having this burst of energy I'll go back out and vote too.

Dh convinced me to have friends over tonight. Sometimes he's like a kid asking every day if he can play with the kid next door: it just never ends. The couple coming is the one that missed Rosh Hashana because they were dealing with their FL house after Helene. We'll have left over brisket, I'll start challah later, and bake some sweet potatoes and she is bringing a salad. We have cheese/crackers for appetizers and dessert from bakery and perhaps fruit. I am not going to a lot of effort.

I started laundry and got it into the dryer before leaving earlier. Also started Roomba and I think it just finished so perhaps most the dog hair is up.

I will finish a.m. routine - did the three most important (dog walk, food for both of us, and s2s) and a few more earlier but didn't finish. Dog is outside in the sunshine so I'd like to let her hang there for a while before I take off again.

-clear kitchen counters
-make the bed
-water pansies I bought at Lowes
-clean stovetop
-straighten MBR

DMillie wanted in before I had finished that list, so going on to vote. Hoping line isn't long, I still need to start challah.

I got most of the balcony work done, using a simplified list that doesn't really do much cleaning. My hope is the leaves and dirt will blow away in winter gales! I still have to wrap up and tie down the table and chairs but since it is still nice enough to sit out, I'll wait a while before doing that. I did leave the tarps on the top of the deck box, so they are handy. Time to go to exercise class.

Most of the windows are cleaned too. Not all but most. I'll do the remainder when I put up Christmas lights.

Most of the furniture is back in place but I have a bit of vacuuming to do.

Sweetie and I completed our mail-in ballots and will drop them off tomorrow when we go to the library. My tummy is not happy so I ate a low carb piece of bread and a spoonful of peanut butter. I’ll make Sweetie a baked chicken sandwich, Tatar tops and salad for dinner. Nothing sounds good to eat at the moment.

Drinking hot decaf tea at the moment. It usually soothes my tummy. I have showered and dried my hair.

Twins… when I was an executive wife my then husband would love to all me in the middle of the day to let me know he had invited people over for dinner that night. I hated when he did that, so I always kept wine, baked potatoes, breading and the making of salad on hand. That mean he would have to stop on the way home to buy steaks to grill.

My mom lived the same kind of life and taught me to keep crackers and such on hand as well for the same reason. And she taught me to buy good ready made chocolate cookies. I would pop them in a warm oven for a few minute and that made my house smell like I had just baked them and were ready to eat for desert. Sometimes I would make a dish of vanilla ice cream, drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce on it and stick one of those cookies in the dish too.

Didn’t have a microwave back in the mid-70’sso I had to think quick on my feet.

I had a behaved very badly moment with dh. totally on me. I normally don't get "angry" but I acted badly. I do not like that feeling, of being angry, at all! I apologized but told him it's okay if he is angry at me. He turned the anger on the dog and he just can't understand that he should be upset with me not anyone else.

I truly acted badly over something so so small! I had been washing dishes and was almost finished - I had veggies on the right side to be thrown out - cooked old spinach etc. He decided to throw stuff down the garbage disposal. I asked if he couldn't bc it has taken me weeks to get the smell of of the system. At first I was polite. he then continued the garbage disposal (which is fine) but took all the spinach etc. and pushed it down the regular sink. Every thing just sits there and rots. I put my hand over it and said strong STOP angrily! it spattered both of us. He stepped away. I know he meant well. I knew right away that I was horribly way out of line. I could have behaved so much better. It took me a half an hour to put a wire long brush through it and the gunk that came out of it was disgusting. - I could have tried just talking to him. He would still do it but is it worth my getting angry. Such bad behavior and anger on my part. I am so embarrassed. Now he is getting angry at dd's dog - bc of me and my lack of respect. I think he was embarrassed - he has every right to be angry at me.

ok - adjust. do better.

Back from voting and I have started the challah in breadmaker. It took approx. 10 minutes to election commission office, 20 minutes from time I got in line to time I stepped out of the building, done. There was a line but it was moving well.

I'm giving myself to :15 after the hour to veg out, and working for 45 min to the TOTH. I am also having an iced coffee.

Was thinking that we all need to synchronize our days so 1/2 of us have productive days while the others have a lost day, then reverse. That way we can watch the productive hardworking members and we'll all have our opportunity to go all out. Since we can't string together two of those days back to back, anyway?

bw2, we all have those moments. Sometimes it's something else bothering us, sometimes it's just the heat of the moment. He will be okay and don't be too hard on yourself. We all loose it now and then, somewhere.

--------------------
Taking on to save from leaving a SHEM.

Finished that round, I'm in good shape and will walk the ddog at :15 after. I need to change clothes, wool leggings and long sleeves in the sun at 81 degrees is too much for me!

I have to admit that I was shocked by my behavior. I do not like the feeling of anger and work really hard to stay away from that feeling by talking or working things out. I am stressed by being at mom's at least twice a day and that I am not getting things done before winter like I usually do.

I am sure that Dh decision to do what he wants added to it - I have tried to explain about the right sink and the smell from the garbage disposal bc it's not turned on after throwing things down. dh and I spoke and I told him what I did was not right and not respectful. I apologized but an apology is only good if one works hard not to do it again. I always worry that this might be a sign of future ahlzheimers. I will keep an eye on it. My grandmother was in her 70's and 80s, my grandfather was 90 - 94.

I have to admit I was proud of myself with a relative. She told me something that I wouldn't do and I just let it go. She couldn't see why a Dr's office worker was upset with her. I listened kindly. She didn't need me to tell her, what she did ,added extra work for someone else. no Dudley do right's need here. Same with dh-he doesn't need me to do that to him too.

You are very kind!

d twins yay on voting
that wasn't long at all for voting.
enjoy your veg out time!

I 100% agree that sometimes days are productive or not. you are right it's all okay!!! I love that we cheer each other on!

Next: go upstairs and see if there are any dirty dishes. :D dirty towels thrown down the stairs - dd younger has to do her laundry which is building up in laundry room.
ask dd's to look at mom's cameras and call her to take her water. I have already been in contact 3 times.

dw/dryer is clean on top :D
dw emptied again :D
I have found 4 dog balls - I have been looking for them -

dd younger came home after a beautiful new hair cut - 12" off and it still is below her shoulders. really nice. Both my girls have dh's straight hair and dd older has my thick hair - her pony tail is as thick as a horse tail. Mine was like that when young except I have always had a wave or frizz ;) dd older hair is a dark brown almost black as my hair was; dd younger has brown hair but lighter than dd older's.

cleaning angels are coming tomorrow - normally dh won't let anyone clean his room and bathroom but I think I convinced him to do the bedroom - the dust is overwhelming. I will clean the bathroom bc he hasn't. He doesn't understand that cleaning it every 2 weeks (at least) keeps it looking nice.
