It was so nice to wake up to a clean home.

My bed was made as clothes were going in my dryer before my coffee was even ready. I started our dinner in my slow cooker after I came home from class and then left for my coffee gathering. I stayed after the meeting to help set up for our evening event. I unloaded 126 chairs that are stacked on a large frame built to hold them. I count that as extra exercise.

Cathy … I have a corner in my master bedroom in which I have a glider chair and a small table that holds one of my reading lamps. It’s cozy and quiet and I love my chair and foot stool. The chair is over 25 years old and I have glued it many times when the let’s get loose.

My desk resembles your library and I am going to work on it after I finish my lunch. I’m much happier when everything is put away in its home, but I have a bunch of papers to file. I hate that job!

quick hi - this morning took a long time - mom making her own eggs - med prep for week took an hour, calendar, blood pressure/oxygen. dressed: took a bit and it's not completely done - she won't change her underthings - I need to remove the distraction of her calendar bc she keeps rereading it.

time for me to get dressed and let mom be on her own - she had a good time chatting since early this morning and showed how a leaf looked like a wolf - mom was an artist and could see things in many things. very creative but I need to start on me, the house and the dogs.

waving to you all.

That is awesome!

I just texted DS16 a list of things to pick up from WMart. Nice! DS16, girlfriend and another couple are going on a double date out to eat. DS16 volunteered to stop by WM as they are leaving the city.

((blessed))

I had a great workout. It's great to be back, did a little of everything. Walking to warm up, some balance, strength, core ( a lot of core is keeping core steady during other exercises), even rowed a little. I am in la la land today. Going there, I turned at the main road as if to go to the old space. I was okay on time and went to town and then back out, but missed the cross street to get to the gym. Anyway, I got there on time.

We're in the fifties and very sunny today. Rain starts overnight into tomorrow, then temp dropping Sunday to a low of 14 on Sunday night. Oooof.

Just now getting this posted.

LadyM, I wonder where they are going for dinner tonight?

-------------------

I could bring out the sewing I need to do but it is a big job and requires lots of measuring
I don't feel like doing fun sewing, needlepoint etc.
I am over thinking everything that needs planning or doing - time to simplify.
maybe I will pull one cookbook to go through. I haven't cooked through a new cookbook in a while.
1. pull calendar and look at what is coming up so that I can plan my work and cooking around.

waving to you all.

Girlfriend wanted Chinese food. I just checked Life360 and they are at the Mall food court. There is a decent Chinese option there. If the other couple wants a different type of food, then they have that available too.
note....DS16 is learning financial life skills. Earlier today I saw him checking prices of the various chinese restaurant options. This restaurantt says $10-$20 a plate. That restaurant is $40 a plate. Is that place worth double the price?
Depending on where they choose to eat, it could take him an entire day of working to pay for the meal.

BWTG!

DH and I teamed up to set up an organize structure in area of the garage. We removed everything from one wall and put shelves that hold plastic tubs. Now we have 6 empty large tubs to decide how to use. I needed to take a break before deciding and assigning categories of things for each tub.
