I've really done nothing today except watch TV and sleep, keep DGS fed, talked on the phone, and had a slight panic attack.
DGS wanted pizza around noon, so I prepared a frozen pizza and I ate one slice; he ate seven.
Later, ddil called and asked if he wanted to eat supper with me or them -- they were going either to Chinese or Mexican, and I planned soup at home -- DGS decided he wanted to eat with me, and he had chicken gumbo soup; I had chicken noodle soup. DS picked him up after they ate, so for the first time since Friday evening, I'm alone again.
Being alone isn't the cause of the panic attack -- that was a silly thing --
Dcousin called and asked (after a long preliminary, "Tell me if you can't or don't want to, I promise I won't be mad and I'll still love you..." but finally asked if I could take daunt to eye doctor tomorrow. Of course I said yes and immediately, I have that lurching feeling in my stomach.

This really makes no sense because I love daunt sooo much and I always enjoy time with her... but it's out of my normal routine, so I flip out. She said she could not find a substitute, was already taking off on Thursday, neither of her brothers could go, and her niece would be babysitting and she hated to ask her to get out with the baby (dcousin's grandchild) as cold as it would be. Well, of course I told her I could go. Then I have to go to the bathroom, call dmom, etc... then DS called and I told him what was going on, and took a half pill of that Klonopin and by the time I stopped talking to DS, I was almost looking forward to spending the morning with daunt. LOL -- THEN, Dcousin texted and said we have a 2-hour delay for school tomorrow; she can take her mom. What a turn or events. It proves DS is always right; no need to worry about anything because chances are it won't happen or it won't be as bad as you imagine even if it does happen.
So now I'm back to no plans for tomorrow except laundry and WHB, and maybe going to Wmart. I really did spend today in my Cuddleduds, fuzzy socks, and the t-shirt I slept in. And I've been in my recliner with my "grandmother quilt" all day. (Grandmother quilt is the very heavy double-wedding ring quilt my paternal grandmother made for me, at my request, before dh and I got married. She swore she'd never do another, but she did two more, for each of my girl cousins.)
I have not called the doctor's office to schedule the biopsy -- I hate to do that and I'm putting in off, telling myself maybe they took the day off for MLK day. I may just put this to prayer and if the Lord wants me to have it done, they can call me. But the doctor/NP said if they didn't call me soon, I should call her back and she would help me get it scheduled. Sigh. I have had no additional symptoms at all since the first week of December, and I am down to every fourth day on the hormones. But... she says since my endometrium lining is 11 mm rather than 4 or 5, I should have the biopsy. More sighs.
I need to do laundry and I don't know when is the best time -- I'm thinking the only danger with this severe cold is that people may overload the electric grid, and I don't want to contribute to that. I wonder when the heaviest usage time is around here.
At least I'm not having to think about minus- temps! Right now, it's 21, and "feels like 15." Low tonight is expected to be 14 -- at 7:00 a.m. I have to admit, I'd rather be in my warm bed at that hour, than on the highway with daunt. High tomorrow is 29. Then tomorrow night, it drops down to 9 degrees, with a high of 36. By Thursday, we will be back into the 40s. Dmom said they mentioned a chance of snow again this weekend, but I'm not seeing that on my app.
I may just continue this lazy day. Looks like Ohio State is winning the football game. Do any of you have a favorite? I don't, except Notre Dame's QB grew up in Alabama. He played three years at Duke before transferring to Notre Dame. So I guess I am kinda hoping they win... but this game isn't as interesting as those yesterday where people were sliding around in the snow.
Y'all stay warm!
