mom's ammonia was high and that added to the out of mind delusions. They changed her pain meds and that also helped. She got up today for the first time - they had her walk to her chair - miracle!!!! she had been screaming in pain, unless she was on morphine, most of the last 4 days - today has been better - they put a special cushion under her that helped.

I can only pray from one day to another.
gratefulness: dh is doing well

I am going to start cleaning bc I have someone coming tomorrow - dd older has been with mom since 7:30 - dd younger is going over there for the evening so that I can clean.

1. fold laundry and put away from kitchen table :D
2. bathrooms and floors

kitchen floor swept and washed :D
counters washed :D
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I went to the link LadyM posted. So many names that are no longer posting, including Dee, Harmony, Sunny, Sadie, Lynlee, Elizabeth, Lilac and Kathryn.

I have been going, going, going all day. Some of the island is cleared off. Most of the laundry is done and put away. Bed is totally remade. Dh has already gone to read.

I did some deep cleaning of silly little things that have been OMM forever. For example... 3 separate paint drips that have been here since we moved in. They were all really small but bothered me every time I mopped. Today I found a scraper in the "junk" drawer, so I dealt with those 3 drips.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Nancy, I'm glad you enjoyed the journal info. I think it may be helpful for me, making me think about some things in a different way, maybe.

Normal Sunday here, went to church, then dgd went home with her mom and DGS and I went to the chicken finger place he likes but DGD does not. Then he stayed with me till after 7:00 pm, which kinda irritated ddil, I think. I apologized to her for keeping him so long -- he wanted to stay later after we ate supper, so I just let him. She told him next Sunday, he must go home with her. ;) I told her (in his hearing) that he certainly should because next Sunday is Mother's Day. DDIL and I both agreed that we would start the day however, doing whatever my dmom requests -- if she is able to go to church, we'll go with her, because she's the oldest mother. :D
I talked to her today, and she is having terrible pain with what she thinks is a pulled muscle, and not really sure how she did it. But it's bothering her more than the shoulder or the foot right now. SMH. (And blessed -- I am so sorry your mom is still having pain, but I was glad to hear she had a little better day today. Continuing to pray for you all.)

I checked out the link, too, LadyM. Apparently my dmom was having a REALLY rough time on this date 9 years ago. At least we're not dealing with all that right now.
I sure do miss some of our missing SHEs...

I haven't done really anything today. I told ddil, DGS and I probably didn't exchange half a dozen words all afternoon -- I slept and he played on the computer. He did have a running football game going up and down the hall, and he would shout out two teams and ask me to predict the winner. LOL. Sometimes I got it right. (Of course, it was all whomever he chose to win, but he claims he has a "system.")

Welcome home, Twins. WTG on unloading the car. LOL -- have you unpacked and put away yet?
I am noticing a difference in my mornings when I do bedtime routine the night before.
LadyM, I know I will have a difference in my morning if I s2s at night. Sometimes it's hard for me to do that, like last Friday. And I REALLY need to make myself do this when DGD is here, because she is going to make a mess of my morning if I don't, and then my whole day is off track. But if I need to wash my hair, it is better to s2s in the morning, because I am kinda limited to a ponytail if I don't do my hair in the morning. Sigh.
Tonight, I AM going to do my shower tonight. I did my "walk away the pounds" routine a few minutes ago and I've PUPA in the den. Kitchen and kids' rooms are still a mess, but they can wait. I also took the garbage to the road earlier. And I have filled out my planner for the week.

I am still holding back from ordering the $70 digital organization system. I know myself... I don't want to print out a bunch of stuff like that. It is sooo tempting to me, though. DS said, "Well, there's worse things you could be addicted to," when I told him I was such a sucker for anything that said "organization" or "planner."
OH -- and BTW -- I am trying to return the vitamin gummies. I tried to take them this morning and I just had to spit them out. They really taste horrible. The site offers a 45-day guarantee, so maybe they will let me return them.

I hope Harriet is back home soon and feeling 100% better! And I hope you ALL have a wonderful day tomorrow! :D
Tomorrow is another day.
