Coming through again. Plants in the front are in planters. I need to top off the potting soil and blow off the front porch driveway still, And then water.
In the back one tomato plant is in the raised bed with a cage around it to protect from ddog. Both pots in the back are planted with marigolds. I still have another tomato to go, and a parsley plant.
Dtrainer is on her way here to get ddog instructions.

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
Good afternoon!
Congratulations in advance to LadyM's DD13! Can't wait to find out what the award is! Sorry about the asthma diagnosis, but I guess it's better to know. Ticked on your behalf at the pharmacy/doctor's office communication.
You're really knocking your tasks out of the park today, Nancy!
Glad you were able to get to your body work after all, Twins. You sound like your day is going in a bunch of different directions, but you seem to have it whipped into shape.
Good job on doing all the stuff you wanted to, Cathy.
Sorry about the exploding sink and the pharmacy mixup, Harriet. Don't worry about being a burden on those who love you -- you know you'd give those you love grace if the shoe were on the other foot.
Not been the most productive today. I did have a therapy appointment -- talked a lot about my expectations for myself and for the kids. Even before the therapy appointment, DH and I had been talking about going out to dinner sometime to talk about the kids.
Spent way too much time huddled under a blanket. It's chilly and windy here today and got chilly in the house when the wind blew the back door open without us realizing it for a while. When I'm done here, I need to clean up my lunch. I'm annoyed with DH. Yesterday, I stacked all the dirty dishes next to the sink to be washed; DH washed some of them -- no problem there, but he left half a sinkful sitting in the water. So now I have to pull these things out of the cold water and stack them again before I can fill the sink and wash them. *sigh* Oh, well. I've got a DH who cooks and washes dishes -- plenty to be grateful for.
Anyhow, I should go get those done and throw a load in the wash. Have a good day, all!

Dog sitter has been through and left, and I walked dMillie a lap. It's hot out - 85 degrees - with a tornado watch until 11 p.m.
Our dinner reservation is 5:45, we'll go on but keep an eye on things. I've not finished with the yard stuff. The other tomato and plant can wait until tomorrow. I'll water the plants in the pot on the porch because they won't get rain later, I'll top them off in the a.m. when it's cooler.

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
Well, I’m gonna try and do a quickie here. I went to my DAR meeting. Talk to my insurance guy to find out what the procedures were about the leak in my house. We had the plumber come yesterday and they can find a leak and we’re going to re-pipe the whole entire house because he’s afraid they’re more that will eventually give to and we don’t want that to happen.
Talk to my construction guy and told him that we have a $10,000 deductible for mold and he told me the reason that deduction was so high as to because to remove mold or have a company come in and remove mold is usually about $20,000 for joy. He said he knows and he’s friends with a man who runs one of those companies he’s gonna talk to him and let me know what he marked. My construction guy can do. In the meantime, my insurance guy still wants the leak protection people to come in and run their test. I’ll do whatever the insurance company wants me to do to make sure I can make a claim and be good on it.
Harriet a while back when I had to was doing an addition to my older house. I spent a lot of time washing my dishes in the bathtub. I’ve already figured out where we’re gonna be washing dishes in this house when they take my kitchen down. Paper plates are definitely your friend.
Lady M so sorry your daughter is feeling puny and glad you got an idea of what was causing it. And it’s so happy she’s winning an award tonight. My son fought acne for a while when he was in junior high and later in his freshman year. His dad had cyst type, acne all his life and has scars from it. We finally got my son on medication for that and his comment to me when he got his senior picture was look mom. This is the best picture of me I’ve ever had. You can’t see any of my acne. That about made me cry.
I am tired and don’t feel good probably because the mold is now opening around. I came home and slept for two hours. Not something I normally do and my chest is starting to bother me. But I go to the doctors tomorrow so that’ll be helpful we’ll see what he has to say.
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
what-a-day.
DD13 received 2 awards tonight. One was GPA and the other was outstanding student. She handled getting up on stage and being in the spotlight multiple times. However, afterwards she shared how much she hates having to do that and said it is a reason to make sure her grades are lower next year. hum....I don't think that is the result the school is seeking.
Today made me realize how easy my life is when it doesn't include 100+ miles of driving & 5 hours of dealing with medical things. ((((Thinking of Harriet))))
I drove back to the city to get 4 prescriptions. One was sent to a medical equipment place and the other 3 to pharmacy. When i arrived at the medical equipment place they informed me they didn't have chambers for inhalers and returned the prescription to the doctor office. When I arrived at our pharmacy they had 2 of the prescriptions ready. I asked about the 3rd prescription so the pharmacist picked up the phone and called the doctor office. The office had sent the other prescription to a different pharmacy that we have never used in a different town. WHY??? All I know is there is a person at the doctor office that is doing a TERRIBLE job with sending the prescriptions. I can only guess he/she is new and clueless. I really don't want to complain but he/she has messed up several times today resulting in extra 50 mile of driving and 2 extra unnecessary stops. And we still haven't received one of the prescriptions.....
DH had two incontinence accidents this afternoon resulting in him being on his 3rd set of clothing today.
This evening I couldn't find my phone. I looked everywhere for it. I have been to so many places today that I dreaded trying to backtrack to search for it. I called it only to remember that I had turned the sound off this morning when in doctor appointment and forgot to turn the sound back one. I had DS16 look on his phone to find out where it showed my phone to be using Life360 and google map location apps. It showed my phone was near me. huh? After more searching, I found that DH had put my phone in his phone case on his belt. He didn't realize what he had done.
Life is full of surprises.
All's well that ends well.
I'm ready for today to be over with and start fresh tomorrow.

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
LadyM, I am sorry you had such a rigamarole with the doctor/drug store thing! That is sooo frustrating. OTOH -- congrats to DD! Maybe she will "forget" that she wants to make lower grades next year.
Also, (((HUGS))) for troubles with LordM.
DGS said he didn't finish his English exam today; he said he was "distracted." I told him he could ask for a quieter space to take tests, according to his IEP, but he's not really concerned about it all. He thinks he did okay on it.
Twins, it was HOT here, too. I'm surprised storms weren't worse (but very thankful!)
(((Rose))) what an ordeal you're having with all the home repair. You are always so capable and able to handle everything, so I know you will manage everything perfectly, but I know you will be sooo glad to have it over and done with!
Mystery, I get chilly in my house. 72 is too cold and 73 is too hot. I am keeping it on 72, but I'll probably regret that when bill arrives.
(((Harriet))) I'll be praying for strength and ease of appointments next week.
It has been a fairly terrific Tuesday. I had my teacher group meeting. That was nice, except one of our members has sent a resignation letter -- she had tried to "resign" at one of our last couple of meetings, but I thought we had convinced her to continue to come when she could -- everybody else does. * I * am the only person with perfect attendance this year, LOL, and that includes the other officers. I send an email reminder each month to over 30 ladies, and the most we have ever had at a meeting was nine. Sadly, we have had as few as TWO to show up, and this was when the PRESIDENT'S DAUGHTER was doing a very nice craft presentation and devotion for us! Only myself and the president herself showed up!!! So I don't know why anyone would feel like they were unable to fulfill their responsibilities. SMH... that's just silly. BUT, this lady is over 80 and there may be problems I am unaware of, situations that make it difficult for her to feel like she is able to be involved with us. Of course, we only meet 8 times a year, once a month during the school year, minus December. LOL... we are not a high-pressure group at all, and we do raise money (through donations) to give several $500 scholarships each year, so it's a worthwhile group.
Anyway...
DGD was ready to go home early today -- wanted to jump on her trampoline.
Y'all, (forgive me if I already told this) yesterday, when she was getting ready to leave Awards Day, she was saying good-bye to her friend, and she teared up and started crying! She said she was just going to miss her friend. Fortunately, she is invited to this little girl's birthday party in a couple weeks, and I told ddil she should invite her friend to some of our Wonderful Wednesdays -- the first one is to a trampoline park. She would probably enjoy that. Also, I think she and dgd are going to take a tumbling class at the same time at the gym where they've been going during the school year. But I think that is sweet that DGD has a friend she treasures like this. (DGS will probably never have anyone that he really feels close to -- he just says he likes everybody. I guess some of that is being a boy, and some of it is being autistic.)
After the teacher group meeting, I did take a nap -- I was up really late Monday night, had a crazy day yesterday, up late last night, and up early this morning. But then dgs called and wanted to spend the night tonight.
He and I watched the weather all evening; fortunately, no damage around here, but I think there were some places in our tv coverage that did have damage. He went to bed fairly early and has been sound asleep a long while.
DS called to ask if our power was out (it wasn't, and his wasn't, but apparently it was out in our downtown area.) He and I ended up talking a couple hours -- we solved a lot of the world's problems.
I put a load of laundry in the washer at 11:30, so DGS will have some clean clothes to put on tomorrow. (However, he hasn't showered; I may just send him home in what he's wearing.)
NOTHING on the to-do list tomorrow except church tomorrow night. I will need to get laundry finished and do at least some of the WHB tasks.
Oh --
I also need to
* type the notes for teacher group and send them a reminder to pay dues...
* send the minutes from Monday night to the district superintendent
* call or (more likely) write a note to the lady who resigned from teacher group and let her know how much I will miss her
Hope you all have a great day!
