Terrific Tuesday PWYC
We've had so many celebrations this month - Mother's day, graduations, and awards! I heard someone call this month Maycember recently because it's as busy as December with the end of school year events.
It's going to be a terrific day here in the our village - celebrate the many accomplishments this month, and count up our terrific tasks and days today.

Good Morning!
DD13 will receive an award at school tonight. The letter sent home from the school called it "award ceremony" but the school calendar calls it "award banquet". Using the word banquet implies a meal will be served. Hum.....
DD13 is just barely hanging on with a croupy cough. Just called and was able to get her an appt at 10am in the city with family doc. Adding an impromptu 50 mile drive to my day....

Hi!
I never did get the oven done yesterday. I'm going to start the whole process over again this morning.
There are clean dishes to put away from the dishwasher and the dish rack. Dh is going out for a bit, so I can re-do what he did on Friday as the things he did feel quite greasy and the glass pan isn't clean. It looks clean, but I just want to re-do it to get the greasy feel off of it. Maybe I'm just too picky.
I also have to get at some paperwork. I need to write down our personal information for the new tax preparer.
Plus I need to iron a stitched piece so I can take it to the framer later this week. Yikes! The week feels like it's half over already.
Of course, now that the long weekend is over, the weather is awesome. It's still windy, but the sun is out and there is lots of blue sky. I might go outside and read later.

Winning and it's terrific that I do not have a sink full of dishes this morning!
top three
* trash is at the curb
* walk about the yard
* deck stretches
* Journaling & planning
* coffee
* basement walk about
* cooking time made dog treats which I tried and succeeded a cracker style version I've been wanting to conquer yea!
* bfast
* walk
* mixed up bread dough
* knit & listened to a sermon I missed when I was ill a couple mo. ago.
* sweep & mop floors
* kit. spiff
Done to here
cooking sausage for meals ahead later.
Looking 4 ward 2 / *Done to here.
_ P.M.
_ TV time
_ Walk when it warms up a bit.
Yesterday I did more than usual but was trying to free up goof off time for this afternoon!
And T-storms were coming in so I focused on outside stuff.
Waving to all of you!

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
I nearly missed my body work appointment this a.m. He called me at 10:20 when I didn't show up at 10, and because he's so close I got there in time for nearly a full session. So I'm tuned up and aligned for the week, I guess. I was sure it my mind that I written it down for tomorrow, but it's right there on my calendar, proving that sometimes I check off "Look at calendar for tomorrow" I don't actually do it.
I left half a dozen things half done, but I had walked ddog, finished my breakfast, and took the meds for the UTI. Important because must be taken with food. I left half a dozen things half finished when I few out of here. Need to work through a.m. routine first, Priority is getting the rest of the plants purchased on Friday into planters and raised beds. So I need to do that before the day gets hot.
We're eating out with dfriends A and V tonight.
Since I've been out of the house, I'm having a hard time settling down to get to work. Setting timer for myself to go to TOTH (Top of the Hour).

Yay!! Oven is done. I will have to spry the walls with water a few times to get off whatever isn't off yet. There are some bad spots, but it looks so much better than it did.
I also ironed that stitched piece so I can take it to the framer.
Kind of got some paperwork done. Not exactly what I needed to do, but it's underway.
Pork chop for supper tonight.

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
WTG on the oven, Cathy. Mine needs cleaning, but that's another day.
I've been active. I have the roomba going on the screened porch for a second round. I can get dcleaning lady to dust it on Thursday. It's really nasty. Nearly done with a.m. routine - need to get washer going (sheets from guest bedroom) and might decide to shower before we go out. Depends on how much of a sweat I work up. I also checked bank and credit card balances (bank for me and cemetery and HOA).
I need to keep working. I can transition right into getting plants into the ground.
Dtrainer is coming by at 3:30 to meet ddog and go over instructions, etc.
We have the possibility of strong storm beginning around nine this evening. We'll be home by then.

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
Unlike Nancy, I have more dirty dishes than I ever have had, I believe. Especially those that have little hope of getting clean soon. HRH had let things get out of hand, but had a plan to marathon them yesterday afternoon. Then we got home so much later than we thought and THEN the unthinkable happened with a break (?) underneath sink - water all underneath including onto his feet as soon as he tried to take care of dishes.
The two boys are trying to find a part. I'm astonished that it is this difficult, but they have some expertise, and I do not.
Just now, HRH mistakenly used yet another regular plate when he had intended to try a paper plate.
He has vanquished me from kitchen because I'm really no help. It is true. Sigh. I just keep washing my few dishes in bathroom and bringing back to the drainer in the kitchen.
Ramblin', I realize that my kitchen complaint is not so big a deal when you think of your upcoming decisions, etc. Best wishes to you and hopes you can be pleased with results.
I dealt with crazy pharmacy 1 making same mistake they always do. Trying to tell them again, knowing no one is listening. The same thing will happen next time.
The newly scheduled procedure means an appt every day next week except the very Mon of Memorial Day. I will be so tired but also will be so much trouble to everybody, which makes me sad.

Re: Terrific Tuesday PWYC
Home from taking DD13 to doctor and then returning her to school because of semester testing. She got a diagnosis of asthma along with a shot of steroids to give quick relief. She was breathing better by the time I took her back to school. The appt was for one thing but it turned into a launching point for several future appts for tests
** Brain test because of her memory loss (is it from childhood trauma pstd? or something else?)
** referral to be tested for autism
** Abdomen ultrasound for gallbladder and fatty liver test
** Spiro test for confirmation of asthma with her inhaler & chamber
** Massive amount of blood test ordered.
** Prescription meds for acne
I am frustrated that the prescriptions didn't get sent to pharmacist and medical equipment place immediately after the doctor appointment. The doctor's reception office said it could take hours. I thought they were mistaken. So I continued on as normal = I left the doctor's office and drove about 5+ miles away in the city to the pharmacy. Usually the prescriptions are ready and waiting for me when I get there. The pharmacist said he hadn't received any prescriptions so he picked up the phone and called the doctor's office and they confirmed they wouldn't be sending the prescriptions to the pharmacy until the doctor signed off. The doctor is the one who ordered the prescription so why does he have to sign off before they get sent to pharmacy? I'm confused.
ANYWAY, it means I have to do another 50 mile drive later today to get the prescriptions. #frustrated.

Ugh, what a pain LadyM. But it sounds like you have a lot taken care of or underway, and summer will be the time for those extra appointments.
Harriet, what a time for such a leak or breakdown! And I'm so very sorry there's an extra procedure on the calendar and that you'll be back to every day appointments. Hoping you turn the corner and can continue to improve once you're through this.
Back to work.
