Claude Monet Monday @ TDD - C&C

Dogged, it's the just the annual school photos - well unlike in the USA, here the whole class (because the classes are small, 15-30 pupils) takes a joint photo annually. It will be her first in school, but it's not really special. And... well, she's a natural model

Made coffee
Reorganized the unwashed masses into piles to free up counter space
Scrubbed out sink and basin X 2
Washed 2 basinsful of dishes
Put small slow cooker in to soak
Worked on goals
Coffee
Washed another basinful of dishes
Wiped down accessible surfaces
Reorganized the drying racks to make room for the laundry gadget
Set up the laundry gadget and started the first load soaking
Started making breakfast
Germane pooped, on the pee pads, behind the pee pads, in front of the pee pads and ran around dragging poop behind her.
Painstakingly picked up poop and washed floor
Put down clean pee pads. Avoided having to put breakfast wrestle with a new pee pad box by taking a pee pad from her pen.
Breakfast: toast was stone cold and eggs were half-cooked.
Added some Boursin and warmed the toast, finished cooking the eggs and it was fine.
Drained washing gadget
Refilled washing gadget with laundry soap and started washing cycle

It is a real holiday, L Ann! Nice you could stay in bed so long for a change.
WTG getting the walk in before the rain, Doggedly. It sounds like Germane is keeping you busy.

The wedding shower was very pleasant, actually. I met them at the park and we sat around a table and talked. J brought goodies from the coffee shop to share.

It sounds like I will not have a class next session. I am SO excited!! I will still have GGT, Exam prep, and the exit exam to manage - but that's not very much over a 5 week period. Dh will be thrilled too. This will help me deal with my very busy weekends between now and August.

Germane peed exactly right on her pee pad, collected her reward and has taken herself off to the bathroom to sleep, so we are friends again.

I buy pee pads in bulk because they are cheaper that way, and they are so tightly packed into big heavy boxes that I have resorted to using needle nosed pliers to get the first few out. As I face unpacking the next box, I have had a little epiphany: I would rather get them from an open box on waist high box just behind Germane's pen than to keep reaching overhead to shelf above the clothesrack. Life just became a little easier.

We had much better weather than the forecast, so I spent more time on the garden than I intended. And had a chat with Dneighbour S. But I still managed to get upstairs sorted out before DH came home -he had a nice time with his friends. I've written a lost of Freddie's meds for tomorrow, and also posted a notice that he can't have breakfast tomorrow morning. That is not going to go down well! I'm aiming for an early night, as the more hours sleep I can get before Matilda wakes me up, the better!
