Home from trip to city for DD13 appt. Afterwards we went out to eat and then shopped for DD13 birthday.
The youngest member of our family is about to turn 14 years old. How did that happen so quickly?

DS16 has a couple friends here.

I am trying to get in at least 250 steps per hour. It sounds so easy ........so why can it be so challenging? I get busy doing something and then realize the hour has passed and I didn't get enough steps.

Lady M my N used to have a harem of girls over daily, I kindness miss that but then again I don't. LoL you must be sweet to get bitten so much.

Mystery W I am full purple, have been for a year. I just redid it myself last week, I rebleached it down to white blond then I use a coloring shampoo I mix Lavender and purple, it turned out amazing.

Nancy c and r have planted a porch garden and they were so excited to see 2 baby tomatoes.

TwinsM conferences are so exhausting but I am glad it was a good one. I presented at 4 conferences last year. Dh goes with me and he loves when they add things to his name tag, favorites are arm candy or trophy husband. Where were you? Bourbon says maybe Kentucky? Not even sure where you are located. I am in Indiana

Today was my first official day of retirement as the holiday doesn't count. I have become a lady who breakfasts. I went to breakfast with the wives of the church men's breakfast. Then I went to Y for 3 classes and had to go to school to.cleanout 2 drawers and pick up robes to repair. Came home and filled my pill boxes for 5 weeks, I take a LOT of supplements. Then we had to get readynfor exterminator that were supposed to be here at 6 and it is almost 8. We are hungry. I am annoyed. We have found several little roaches we tried to treat ourselves but we still find them. That made us pull out stove and fridge and clean behind and under and the sides.

Y'all -- I don't know what has gotten into me today. After yesterday's unexpected trip to the ER with dmom, I came home, settled down in front of the tv and ate a bunch of junk. Then I could NOT go to sleep... I was so tired, and had definitely not had a nap all day, but I just couldn't get sleepy. I was in bed before 3:00 but just couldn't stop playing on the phone, watching TV, etc. The sky was lightning up around 5:00 a.m. before I finally settled down. Woke up to a text from Dfriend to see if I was free for lunch today. So --
* quick shower, , talked to dmom, talked to the carpenter who will fill in that area at dmom's rental house (new septic tank, ground has settled)
* lunch
* picked up dgd to spend the night with me
* did three loads of laundry (have not folded or hung to dry -- clothes are just draped over exercise bike
* played a sort of indoor volleyball and baseball with her (nerf ball and a pool noodle for a bat)
* decided to cook supper (spaghetti) -- realized I was out of oregano
* called DS, offered to let DGS eat supper with us, went to pick him up and borrow oregano
* called DS back, told him to just let DGS spend the night too. (DS and DDIL are celebrating their 15th anniversary Thursday.)
* played some more of these nerf ball games with dgrands
* talked to DS and ddil on their way home from supper
* baked cookies
* washed dishes
* put away clothes and hung to dry those that were still wet
* more games with dgrands
* cookies in cookie box and some to give to ds tomorrow

And I am halfway committed to take dgrands swimming tomorrow. I don't know what has happened to me.
