Laura, I hope you and your DSis can get your DMum's medications sorted out. Yes, it would normally have been a very welcome and happy distraction to chat with MQ, but today, she had the news that GH, another mutual friend, has just been diagnosed with cancer. (I had a suspicion that something was up, as I know she had an MRI scan about 10 days ago, and wasn't at church on Sunday. She's also the third person to be diagnosed in our congregation this year.)

Helian, I found a link that helps distinguish between bites from fleas and bedbugs, and how to check for the presence of both.

I also checked, and Acclaim will kill bedbugs as well as fleas. You're right and it's very strange you didn't have a flea problem when DD29 was looking after the house and the mice got bad that time. But (and I know this sounds gross!) maybe the mice stayed in M's bed for a while -dark, soft, comfortable, out of sight, and with a good supply, so when they finally went, they left more than their droppings behind?

I managed a little walk after lunch, as a breeze made it cooler and more pleasant. Now, it's just started raining, so definitely time to do the kitchen. I'll garden later if the rain stops, or do something else inside if it's still wet this evening.

Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Things that need to happen at home before DH retires!
Reorganise office (DH wants a new to him desk that work is getting rid of. Can I empty the tallboy and move it into the bedroom? Remember to measure at its widest point to see if it will fit!
More decluttering in bedroom - drawers under the bed, my clothes (a continuous process!)
Kitchen - measure for fridge, measure where bins are going to go. Order new fridge. Move freezer to where current fridge is now? Go through cubby hole which houses miscellaneous "stuff", including the surplus from my dolls house project (this is on a pause now until the winter, but I have all the pieces I need, ... and a lot of surplus!
Get it all out and divide into lots. WIP
Do I have enough boxes and bubble wrap? I think so
Clean everything so it looks its best and photograph.
Write description and list on eBay. Remember to state we are a smoke free home.I can do most of this this one box at a time, so it isn't overwhelming .
Once the boxes are sealed and wrapped and labelled with the contents, I can store them in the garage.

We're on the last week of school, so things are hard to keep track of and busy with the last week of school activities (yesterday, DS called me from the bus that he had forgotten they were supposed to take swimsuits - luckily, there's a dollar store at the bus terminal, so now he has an extra swimsuit and extra towel ) On the plus side, there's no homework, so there's that!
I did like the Deadpool and Wolverine movie, that one was good (ooooh, who doesn't like Hugh Jackman? And I kinda enjoy Deadpool's no nonsense attitude, even if I would never be so vulgar!

Kittykatt, yay to Freddie back to himself. Lol at the flea story, did the neighbor think they got rid of the fleas when they rehomed the cat?

Helia, hope you find the source of the biting and can “nip it in the bud” as Barney Fife would say.

Laura, I hope your parents are doing well and the meds are sorted easily. It made me nervous to be in charge of meds for my mother and then my mother in law. I can’t keep track of what does what. Now my mother knew the names, spellings, actions, reactions, and would ask for the small pamphlets that come with the drugs to stay on top of it all. She was great. My mil had dementia and diabetes so her care was a lot trickier.

Nothing new here. We had thunderstorms yesterday afternoon so I worked on my closet. I dragged out all of my bottoms (shorts, capris, jeans, dress pants…), got rid of a box load, sorted the keeps and put them back in the closet. They were the easiest thing. Tops will take more time as I have so many. Idk why. I do seem to collect tshirts. They’re comfy for around the house, I have stained ones for when I’m cleaning, painting etc and clean ones for lounging, I collect them everywhere we go and each event. I’ve always done so and it’s a very hard habit to break. Dressy tops are another issue, some fit, some are goals, long sleeve, short sleeve, ugh Moving on from that for now, need to do dailies.

Well bama I do have a family story behind all that. Dad had heart surgery and his are a whack of meds. Plus diabetes. We blister packed his. Mom has dementia and a brain surgery a year ago. Hers are not so many but dad has a hard time keeping track. My sister has all the dr connections. She's busy with work and whatever and dad is not asking questions. Frustrating now I have to be a go between cause my sister is out of town for work again. Ugh.

Kitchen clean. I'm going to text dd and see what she's up to. Deciding yet if I'm going to go to town asap or after lunch

Bama, DH's company does a game data disk about every 3 months, and every data disk is commerated by a new T-shirt (they used to get them for free, maybe now they have to pay something? IDK). He has them all. And he's been with them for 15 years! Even the "no longer fit for office" are piling up!

Laura, multiple doctors and opinions don’t help either. I had to keep a printout on the refrigerator as well as one by the bottles and dole them out in a weekly dispenser to keep track as best I could. Mom knew if I missed one and could tell me the size, shape, and color lol. I do miss her and her life skills, I didn’t get them in as large a dose as she had. She could keep everything going smoothly.
Is your dmom cooperative? My dmil wouldn’t take her meds so we had to devise ways to get them in her, and we won’t talk about insulin shots.

Trissie, 15 years of shirts adds up, is he sentimental about the shirts like I seem to be?
