Good morning!
If I don't dawdle, I can hit submit before noon

I just got back from taking DH for haircut. While he was getting that done, I went next door for a couple bags of pea gravel to use in my current garden project.

We had some storms last night but not much rain for the amount of noise and size they were. We ended up with 1.1" of rain. Every bit of moisture is welcomed as we head into the heat of summer.

SHE card status -

27 due today
7 over due

I was so sad when a part of the food processor broke. I was using it to shred several pounds of cheese when it broke. I have a love/hate relationship with this machine because of all of its safety features. Every single part must be perfectly fitted before it will engage. I understand it is designed this way to prevent an accident happening, so I try to limit my grumbling about it. ANYway, one of the safety latches broke which means the machine wouldn't run. I had DH push hard on the spot to trick the food processor into thinking it was latched so I could finish my current project.
I have used this food processor for several decades and it is a work horse. I was trying to decide if I was willing to pay the $$$ to purchase a new one when I decided to see if I could get replacement for the latch that broke. Success! A $20 purchase and it should be back in the food process business.

I went to several yard sales /
Such fun got sewing room trims ribbons, quilting books, an apron pattern.
 Part done quilting project I can make an apron out of for my house fairy costume.
Wedding Trims and hair combs / Dgd bride to be has first dibs on that!
The jeans fit they are new yea!

Quite a bit of trim is red and green for Christmas in July projects.
My red white and blue decor is great now!

Fav. find was a pole lamp to go by my one chair I use for t.v. time & knitting.
That has been an item I've had my eye out for.

One was an estate sale.
Another one was so busy I decided to wait till the traffic was less...
like tomorrow.

Did not walk yet might do the gazelle.
I need to put some of these items in my sewing zone for my
walk about in the basement.

Counting this morning for my art date.
Got three food items at the store.
One fun white basket I"LL be putting red white and blue ribbon on just for fun!
Continuing this in the arts & crafts thread...

Nancy, you had a great day for creative finds.

LadyM, thank goodness a purchased part will bring your food processor back into service.

Happy Birthday, helia!

I wanted to get in earlier, but it was such a day. 3 appts. Bloodwork made dr happy but I haven't gotten to really peruse it yet. Dr was very optimistic, is considering allowing me to start exercise earlier than expected. Has scheduled scan for a week earlier than expected. Infusion caused another reaction of tingling numbness around mouth, tongue, that was worse than the last one (these are monthly meds to keep pneumonia away). Next time I will agree to have the inhaled version, which has less chance of reaction.

I napped quite firmly when I got finished with an extremely late lunch.

Fielded a call from an old friend.

Ddolder came over. Chatted on the phone with dsonil.
