Hi kittykatt. You have been busy. Yay for a finished inspection, Dogged. Our plane was delayed two hours yesterday and we are two hours away from the airport so we didn’t get home until 11. It was 12:30 before I got to bed and I got up at 5:30 so I am dragging. I brought my 12 year old granddaughter home for awhile (I think about 10 days) and when her dad comes to pick her up he will drop off my grandson.

1-walk to playground
2-put away more things in kitchen and do dishes
3-clean off dog’s hot spot

Yay for a successful inspection, Dogged!

That was a very short night, L.Ann! How nice that your DGD is staying for a few days.

The kitchen is finally finished. I have a lot of rubbish to take to the wheelie bins, but it's raining, so I just took what I could carry in one trip, so I didn't get too wet. It's just recycling,.so will keep until tomorrow . Going to do kitty supper next, and then do a little mor upstairs.

House tasks: Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge? Can this wait until next year when we get the house painted when a roof ladder will be in place?)
Sort out cabinet that wobbles - does the back need some sort of bracing ?
Fix garage guttering that's loose at one end and bending down. Dneighbour R2 may fix?
Fix dripping kitchen tap (new washer ?)- DF E has given me the phone number of her plumber . I think DF CW also has a plumber she is happy with?
Take up and hem those thick winter curtains for the kitchen
Book eye test for me
Find picture hanging equipment for DH
Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP I am now working on 2024
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Last CI for today. I've hoovered upstairs and cleaned where the spare room tallboy has been. Its contents are now in crates in the spare room bed. I think DH is going to be struggling to fit all the co tents of the tallboy and the drawers and cupboard of the existing desk into the cupboard he has brought home for the new desk, which is one reason why I want to put my jumpers in the tallboy once it's in its position in the bedroom. The frame of the tallboy is now in its new home in the bedroom - all the furniture moving went very smoothly- but I discovered some of the runners had pulled away, so I've stuck them with gorilla glue, and I'll leave it overnight for the glue to dry and harden. There's still plenty of time to out the drawers back in and fill them before DH comes home.

In bed now, so I'll see everyone tomorrow. Night night!
