Helian, today's lunch menu was roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, courgettes and peppers gravy, French beans, followed by raspberry mousse and cream. I hope your guest this evening let you know in good time who's coming.

Hi, Peaches!

It's been a nice, relaxing day. Church was good, we celebrated P and M's golden wedding anniversary. I didn't have to rush off and see DF E, so was able to stay and chat to people afterwards. It also looks as though we will be having around 12 attendees for parish lunch on Thursday.

I've spent time in my garden, and also had a good chat with Dnextdoorneighbour C. Laundry is folded and PA, and I've mended the holes (Matilda's claws!) on a couple of t-shirts.

Now I need to post my list for the week.

Fix dripping kitchen tap (new washer ?)- DF E has given me the phone number of her plumber . I think DF CW also has a plumber she is happy with?

Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Hi guys. Sorry I lost track of time and haven’t popped in for a while. I blame the heat of summer and daily rainstorms for the idonwannas that have hit hard. I do sincerely hope all is well with each of you and will try to catch up as we go along. Dd2 is coming tomorrow for 3 days, dh has bloodwork in the am and we have to go to Hollywood for yard work after that so I still won’t have a regular schedule but here’s hoping I can get some things done.

Playing single dog dare to get warmed up and hope it leads to some accomplishments.

I don’t know why I put that off but it’s done now yay.

Done plus started a load of laundry and deleted emails

Hi, Bama! It's good to see you. I'm picturing you travelling from Alabama to Hollywood to do yardwork because... there are no yards in Alabama? Tastes have changed and we have turned away from Rodeo Drive and Paramount Studio tours and petting zoos for the opportunity to pull weeds? Farmers have figured out that they can make more money letting city dwellers pick their own berries than packaging and selling them to wholesalers, so maybe there's a new industry opening up. Or maybe Hollywood has another meaning not immediately obvious to Canadians, LOL.

I have pushed forward on a little decluttering. I think that I'll take Germane out now that the sun is heading down and before it makes it all the way down.
