SHEs Organized

Morning all. I think you are doing really well with the variable weather kittykat. So organized to have inside and outside plans.

Trissie I hope you find what you are looking for when shopping. You deserve a few new things yourself amidst the needs of growing kids. I have a good winter coat and such. My fall one was getting worn and washed too many times. Still works but when I brought dh truck up to help a friend move she was getting rid of a fall coat and some knee high leather dress boots. Her feet are small like mine so they fit like they were meant to.

Helian I hope teaching is good later. Some sense of normal helps. For your sake I hope this stage doesn't drag on too long. It's hard. Hugs .

I should get up a little earlier and get moving. My house looks like the exhaustion that is every evening lately. Honestly pick up my footprints. I ignored supper clean up again. Put away laundry and some basic routines.
That will help a lot. I'm getting to the declutter stage it looks easier to keep organized. Little by little.

DD has a fun time planned at the museum, L.Ann!

(((Helia))) this is such a difficult time. Iirc, it was about a week with DDeparted FIL from when the medical professionals decided there was nothing more they could actively do (he was in his late 90s and his body was just worn out. He needed a new valve for his heart, but the operation would have killed him), and I stead made him comfortable. He slept a lot but the evening before he passed away asked his sons (DH and DBIL) for a gin and tonic. Charge nurse agreed it wouldn't make and different medically speaking at this late stage, about would make him happy, so DBIL raced to the shop across the road and bought a couple of cans ready mixed, which DFIL was able to sip and enjoy with a straw. He died peacefully in the small hours for the following morning. I pray your DMum will have a peaceful ending when the time comes. I also agree that it's a very good idea for you to have some structure for your days, with things you enjoy doing.

Trissie, the next few Fridays are as follows: next Friday -hair cut for me in the morning, visiting C (DF PL's Mum) and dropping off her shopping. DF PL is having a well earned holiday for 10 (?) days, and has drawn up a list of people to call in on her Mum every day, so she isn't left on her own all the time. (C is very bright mentally, but is frail physically and doesn't go out much, especially after a fall earlier this year). And I'm going to DH's concert in in the evening with Dnextdoorneighbour C. The following Friday I have a hygienist appointment and another visit to C
The Friday after that- I'm getting my flu jab, and, further out again , is the osteopath. So there will be a lot more "structure" to those days.

Laura, thank you! As the weather is so variable this time of year, I find it helps to have alternative plans in place, so I don't waste time waiting for it to stop raining, or not making the most of an unexpectedly dry day.

As I had suspected, the weather did turn more unsettled, but I did plant 5 pots of pansies before lunch. With the garage door open, I was able to take shelter during a couple of downpours.

I think that's me finished outside for today. The clouds are looking ominous, and I think I've had enough of getting wet! I'll go and see if Jude has got up yet. If she's still asleep on the bed then I will leave those drawers for now, and spring clean and declutter the hall instead.

We have a service technician coming by so I need to get dressed and fed before he gets here. I guess I could do my dailies. Then it’s a lot of driving around running errands.
