I have watered after I put down the fertilizer.
The neighbor was putting his on also.
Walked around the block ddoggo declined that.
She is obsessed with watching for the neighbors dog to come out and play fetch
maybe my dog will do that too. The only thing she catches is food! LOL!

I have duds sorted and sheets and a few whites in the wash now.
Taking a bit of a breather.
Thinking I could write my morning pages I suppose.

I luv the way it looks on the deck and patio with fewer decor items out.
I put the fall stuff together and will be bringing it up this week.
If you can believe it I"m still bringing up items from former sewing zone.
Today I brought up flannel blocks 4" that I'd cut from scraps when I made p'j.s a while back.

Afternoon…

I spent the morning helping to set up the birthday paery for my grandson and then stayed for a while talking to some of the parents

Came home to check on Sweetie and then went to the grocery store for a few things. Came home and put everything away and then went back to my car because it’s had a terrible stink in it.

Two days ago we were caught in a terrific downpour storm while we were at Walmart. We tried to wait it out, but realized it was gonna keep going for a long time so we took our chances and ran to the car. I had one umbrella with us. It didn’t help much but I tried. Put the groceries in the trunk and then came home.

Next day the car started stinking. I rolled all the windows down and rode that way for a while. Hoping that would help but it didn’t. Yesterday I rolled all the windows down and let the car sit in the sun to see if that might help. It didn’t Then this morning when I opened up the trunk to put away the groceries the smell was as strong as ever. I realized that the bags had gotten wet when we were at Walmart and leaked on to the rug in the trunk. So I unloaded the trunk and took everything out and took out the rug and now they’re all sitting in the sun. Hopefully that will get rid of the stink.

Tonight, I’m going out with friends to go see an Elvis impersonator and have dinner. He’s supposed to be really good but I will see.

And tomorrow if the weather holds we’re going to the beach again. That is my happy place for sure.

Waving to you all… Hope y’all have a good day.!

trissie, do you know which variety (s?) of apple? It sounds like a wonderful abundant surprise for you. Enjoy!

Nancy, I tried to eat that type of apple once and did not attempt again - or, perhaps, they were "crabapples" someone suggested to me. Whatever they were, my mouth didn't allow them access to my tummy. (sour) Nevertheless, even crabapple makes a good jelly. They make jelly/jam so quickly and effortlessly on GBBShow when it's part of their assignment. But of course, that is for one meal, not bothering to preserve anything.

LadyM, we once grew plums, but then a disease attacked them, and they had to be destroyed before they infected other trees. I always thought it was such an unfair thing, but had I made myself familiar with plum tree diseases I might have known to spray or something. Who knows. They were so tall, I don't know if I could have kept it up - would almost have needed special equipment.

((blessed)), your dbrother is not making sense, and I imagine he knows it. Although I'm sorry you have to deal with it, I'm sure everyone realizes you are the gate through which ideas and plans will pass, and that's that. Doctors make the big bucks for many reasons, and one of them is to be QUOTED, when necessary.

I’m going out with friends to go see an Elvis impersonator and have dinner. He’s supposed to be really good but I will see.

Ramblin' says, "I will see." :D I would not doubt for one moment Ramblin' will be the best judge of that talent.

Nancy,, to me, 4-inch squares of flannel sound like FUN just waiting to happen.

I assembly-lined 3 little "tops" to their finish today. Setting them aside to wait for the last 2 to be done and then will be ready to cut out backing and batting. I did time that part ⌚ but since I never thought to time the rest of the work earlier, it's only of so much help to have the info. I think there is no way in the world to time all the thought process, anyway - planning design and choosing fabric. A lot of that is done while asleep or nearly asleep, I think, lol.

Was looking around for Cathy and then remembered - she's having trouble with her monitor. Hope that is not becoming a big deal.

Ds came and hooked the trailer up to his truck. I am thinking he may have found a new lawn mower.

she is answering us -she was frightened after she heard him say what he said - she told us that she was sad now and wants to come back home.
the good she is eating and drinking - the staff keeps coming in and saying she is doing better. it's such mixed messages from my brother and then the staff.

my brother has a nasty side to him - I wish he didn't

. I pray that her heart stops in her sleep. I don't know what is right. So far I am listening to the staff.
we have to see what happens.

she asked us to make fleishnacha and said it would be nice.

dd's and I have said that the room that mom is in has to be a happy and okay area. If he or anyone wants to argue they leave the room. She deserves a quiet and happy spot. dd older said that if he starts again saying things she will walk out so that he doesn't have anyone to argue with.

dd said that she is terrified - she was so scared by his demeanor and his threats. he told her that she was nothing. That all this is her fault
it's so sad and heartbreaking - his nurse gf and her workmate (all from the place that hurt mom) thinks she needs to be given morphine to die - they are not here. the nurses and drs. here say the opposite.

Bw2 so sorry that your family has to deal with this.
The not knowing from one day to the next is challenging on pins and needles and
no one can control a situation like that especially with frayed nerves.

I have been out on the deck had lunch; considering sleeping out there. Will need more blankets.
Ddoggo did not want to come in last nite I do not blame her.

Did some journaling on the deck that was great!
Walked to both corners for steps.
Did reboot the dryer it might be done now. X
Folded that load.

I need to catch up on my seasonal planners.
Thinking about Oct. Prime day my order of books!
I need Sox too I think they were called Bobby Sox back in the day are the ones I like
need to find those.

I have fun strip quilting to do up too; more time in the sewing zone.
Trying to work out a plan for that and fun painting too.

Did call dson about a board the needs reattached on the potting shed he did for me last time has come
loose I think needs a longer screw and another board attached as well. Said I wanted to pick his brain
about the residing that it will need not too far off future. I think to match the other shed would be good.

Blessed, are the doctors and nurses aware of what your brother is saying? I would almost be afraid of allowing him access to her room, with him having this opinion. (((HUGS))) and prayers for you and your ddaughters. This is too much to have to deal with but you are handling it amazingly well.

Apples. My parents and my paternal grandparents had apple trees — only a couple each — but as children, my cousins and I loved to try to eat them — green, VERY sour apples. Thanks for that memory.
Also, a funny story: my maternal grandfather told me this for the truth— when he was a child his mother warned him strongly not to be picking the apples, it was too soon. He said hd climbed the tree and ate them while they were still hanging on the branches, leaving the cores hanging.
I think my mother said later that he had made that up to entertain me, so I don’t know if it’s truth of not.

I eat a banana every morning along with peanut butter crackers. I need to add an apple to my day. I also love watermelon, tangerines, strawberries, and occasionally, grapes and pineapples. But I have some grapes in the refrigerator that will soon go bad — along with some apple slices.
It’s so hard to buy groceries for one person…
And I have still not used the crock pot I bought recently. I imagine myself to be a much different person than I am in reality.

Enjoy the show, Rose, and enjoy your dinner, Twins!

I would love to have a screened in deck to sleep on, Nancy! Have fun!

Well, I’m typing on the phone, and making lots of mistakes ! I’m watching AU and Oklahoma, LadyM. OK is ahead 10-3 and moving the ball… wait — AU just recorded a fumble. It’s about halfway through the second quarter.
I better sign off and quit trying to type on this little screen.
Tomorrow is another day.

no the staff are not aware - he is the POA.
I don't know what to do.

he can take mom out of here and bring her back to the nursing home where is gf is and we won't be able to spend time with her.

it is so so heartbreaking. I am praying for guidance.

I do not have a screened in deck but will be fine!
Just got the bed re-made again after ddoggo "helped" LOL!
Got the last load of laundry folded and put away.

I like V-8 for veg. do not eat fruit it messes up my bs#
I do like the V-8 Splash in diff. flavors but has a lot of carbs in it.
But it does not have the fiber is a draw back to it.

Got the eggs peeled for tuna salad San for my dinner.
Glad for having a plan.
