It is supposed to get colder here too today, KitKat. I had to look up wallflowers kittykatt. They are really pretty. It will be awhile before I get a new one helian. I am reading AFlower Traveled in My Blood. It is written by a journalist and talks about all of the violence in Argentina that happened with all of the government overthrows in the 70s and the grandmothers that fought to find their disappeared grandchildren. It is well written but I do better with small bites spread over time.

Kittykatt, I didn’t realize there was an actual wallflower, I thought it was a nickname thing. I learn so much here.

I’m back up. In need of coffee. Enjoying the cold that’s finally here but it’s supposed to rain today which will warm it right back up. Might clean, might nap, maybe both. Forgot to get my list so brb.

What is everyone eating for breakfast? I’m hungry but nothing sounds good. All I can come up with is eggs or toast or oatmeal and I guess I’m getting bored with those.

Good morning! And it is both, where I am. Not to jinx it, but this is Day 2 where Germane is eating her food with enthusiasm and asking for more. I opened a new can of Go! Duck as we have run out of Go! Shredded Turkey. If that's the brand she wants, it's fine with me. I'm just so happy to see her eating with an appetite.

It is very grey outside, which usually means that it is warm in winter. If it doesn't rain or snow, I'll look into taking Germane out for a carry later.

Bama, I have trouble picturing that as flavourful too, but then some people drink hot water straight so maybe it's like that.

Hi, L.Ann. Off to a good start.

Isn't that funny, kitkat. My slow cooker makes my best meals, but I have a df who raves about her air fryer. Just a difference in the way that we cook. I notice that the air fryer fans tend to cook with more meat than I do, and with more expensive vegetables. Over the winter, it's mostly potatoes/rice/carrots/root vegetables and I stretch my autumn 99 cent cabbage as far as it will go. I think that you do more adventurous vegetarian cooking than I do, as I'm more of a lazy cook.

Your pork chops sound delicious, helia, as does your supper tonight. I'm glad that you are getting some unstructured time.

Lauralind, I'm so glad that your dmother is thriving in the care home program, and that you are getting a break today.

I’m afraid phones have ruined me, I’m listening to books more than sitting and reading, that’s why I’m trying to get to BG’s book to slow down and focus better. I’ve only opened it once lol. Got great ideas and went down rabbit holes for foods and crafts.
