no, helia, the kitchen is on the list today!

helia, will your DH be gone for long ? Yes we intend to wear helmets, they are mandatory for kids and advised for grownups.

trissie, wishing you the best on your painting endeavour ! Especially the cleaning part of the project, of course.

MrNG went looking for sports clothes and winter gear in the dark, smelly, cluttered, dungeon that is our attic. Fortunately he discovered that the clothes and things are in well-labelled boxes (the things are not folded and not sorted but at least I take care of labelling the boxes correctly). We still expect a few deliveries of secondhand stuff but now we know what we need to buy.

TADAs
ski trip, and trip, organisation
made 4 bags of ski gear, one for each of us, with boxes to check sorry the image is very large
email to DM
ordered 2 sticks of FPS lip balm

TODO
some cleaning : upstairs bathroom, downstairs bathroom
admin stuff I dontwanna face -> maybe on Monday ?
bag ski gear lent by coworker that we won't use, into car
also
vacuum both upstairs bedrooms
at least 5 minutes cleaning my car ? it looks horribly dirty
time to relax
some movement
also
cook ahead : tartiflette, dhal
declutter the entrance (ski gear, piles from last decluttering session, "normal" clutter)
dinner and cleanup
check weekly list
make new list for next week
bedtime routines, bed early

Hi, all. Happy Sunday! I'm just popping in to cheer you all on. I've got a migraine. I think I'm going back to bed, while the pill takes effect.

Hello, everyone!

Those bags look very well organised, FFB! At least you know what you have and what you need to still get.

WTG cleaning the freezers, Trissie! Cheering you on with the kitchen painting.

Helia, today's menu was roast pork , roast potatoes, gravy, apple sauce, carrots, broccoli , broad beans, apple crumble and cream.

I hope you feel better soon, Dogged.

L Ann, those menus look very tasty!

Church was very good this morning, preparing people for Lent. DF E was in good form, but I've noticed she's getting more frail and more tired. (Understandable as she is 100!). We've had rain for most of the day (again  ), so very little done outside, but indoors I've folded and PA laundry, sorted through some photos, and done a little sewing on the tablecloth. And had some lap time with Matilda. We've watched my favourite Star Trek film (The Voyage Home) and now we're watching Poirot (ABC Murders)

Done with the kitchen (well there will be some touch-ups at daylight, but that's not happening till next weekend), the floor has been scrubbed, but I need to scrub the cabinet tops and cabinet door (as good day as any) and countertop and tiles before I move everything back. And then I can process the stuff I pulled out of freezers, like a batch of chokeberry juice for chokeberry syrup! But I'll put on an audiobook (listening to a pretty disturbing first-person story of growing up in Eastern Slovakia in the 1990's - not a happy listening, but I can relate to the narrator's self-biting ironic humor which is what I use when talking about difficult stuff) and I'll get it done in no time!

Frenchie, those attics are really something, aren't they? I organized ours last spring, but it needs more work. Not doing it in winter, though - it's above the insulation so it's very cold in winter. I like your bags! Though with our family, that would not work, as somebody would be likely to pull something out during the week!
kittykatt, you remind me I need to do some pre-Lent reading and/or listening, and decide on my Lent abit. I won't get to church on Wednesday and we'll be away on Sunday, so I need to get in the mood on my own!

FFB, dh will be gone until Thursday, so not too long. Glad you all wear helmets! When we (used to) ski, we all did too. We could rent equipment as needed. I loved seeing the bags for each of you - so organized! :)
WTG on all the painting, decluttering, and cleaning you're doing in the kitchen, trissie. Listening to a book is a good idea - sounds intense.
That sounds amazing as usual, Kitty! Enjoy some Poirot! Does dh watch it with you?
I'm going to follow in your footsteps, L Ann, and get out for a walk. I'm debating between our neighborhood - convenient - and a park - more nature.
I hope the pill chases the migraine away, Doggedly.

I love seeing the weekly menu plans here! Maybe I'll do that too, although with dh gone this week, I'm not really cooking much.

How did it get to be 3:00 pm?? I'm home from church and had lunch a while ago. I haven't been goofing off -- so how can it be 3 already?? I rebooted my laptop, culled one of my email accounts - it's not downloading to my laptop for some reason, and had some communication. I'm going to go for a walk next and then work on NY cards and laundry and other things. M is doing laundry now, so I need to wait for her to finish first.

Next:
- back exercises
- make the bed
- go for a walk

Later:
- walk, maybe with dd27?
- finish NY cards
- write bd card for F; ready for mail
- read book for fun
- clean sheets on bed
- towel + sheet laundry w d f pa - must wait for M to finish laundry
- remake guest beds (still undone)
- lists for the week
- make a menu plan and groc. list?
- maybe - put in a Kroger order to be delivered tomorrow?
- 6 - 8ish host Sunday dinner for up to 7 people? (Not sure we'll do this. . .)
- 8:15 - 9:30ish family zoom call
- duolingo
- update health apps (WW, MFP, Finch)
- other things on brain dump list?

TaDas!
- said good bye to dh
- up; weighed self
- s2s and some self care
- squeegeed and wiped down shower
- charging fitbit
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- spiffed self
- 10 - 12 church
- home; lunch
- ordered top; need something Afrocentric for church next Sunday - It's black history month. (There's a topic for our daily introduction.)
- duolingo lessons
- rebooted laptop
- looked for and found paper password folder
- got to one email account; deleted emails, forwarded emails I need to deal with
- communications re: dinner tonight (yes - up to 8 of us) and the zoom call later tonight - no response from ds + F
