Talked with dsis.
Gardening happened did 1/2 hr. or so dug out dead rose bush pruned three that were
still alive in the zone I'm doing this week. Raked up the stuff I pruned off.
Later I'll be getting the seed pods off the rose branches I cut off.
Happy I got the trash dumped.
Spiffed up the living room.
Did some knitting.
had some food.
Fetched the mail.
Walked
Reading next.
Waving to all.

Dh's PSW has come and gone. It's snowing here, but it's melting as soon as it hits the ground.
Glad your friend was found LadyM.

Looking in from Washington, DC. I spent today at the library - didn't get there until about 9:30, an hour after opening. I think I'll need to do better tomorrow. When they closed at four I walked back and got a protein snack at Starbucks - might pick one up in the morning before I head over there. I get hungry but didn't want to stop and go out.
On Saturday I drove about five hours and stopped for the night. The distance to Washington from my overnight stop was a little under four hours, but I stopped at the Manassas battlefield and checked it out. I walked a one-mile loop in wonderful weather to see Henry Hill, a vital hill in the battle. I got into DC safely and checked it - rested a bit and walked to the Washington monument and took in some sights on the National Mall. It was warm, eighty degrees and the cherry trees are beautiful!
I think I'm going to be too tired to do much this p.m. The weather has changed, it "feels like" fifty-one degrees and the wind is blowing 23 miles an hour. I felt like I might be blown over on the street, and out there where it's open the wind feels much stronger. I had hoped to walk to the Lincoln Memorial this p.m. but probably no.
I really should organize my research and get it all squirreled away, but I'm just tired.

Twins, I admire you so much! I hope someday I will be brave enough to travel alone like you do!
LadyM, I am so glad your friend was found!
Blessed— sending lots of good wishes for your mom to have a good night.
I stayed in bed all day, trying to rest from this constant coughing. I thought about calling family doctor — I’m thinking I might need a z-pack — but decided I can wait till I see the allergy doctor Wednesday.
Now I am at softball practice with Dgd. She is spending the night with me — spring break for us.

Yes, so happy Twins' had a nice walk and interesting trip so far.
lucylee, sorry you are sick in bed today.
Morning here was normal. Good breakfast, which I made by myself at stove.
I had such a cramp in a hand getting ready to prepare lunch today, while juggling things in the freezer. I couldn't put anything back up, had to wait on HRH to come and help me. It went on for several minutes - even 5? - but the ache from it was certainly an hour, on up to wrist, elbow, at least. I don't know the reason on mechanism by which cramps have become so difficult in my life.
So, lots of things were not to be today. I ended up taking a too long nap and spending too much of the day seated. I've looked at sewing a few times but never decided to start because I was wondering how hand muscles would react.
Tomorrow is another day.

Thank you, Harriet. I don’t feel horrible, just tired, and maybe a little bit achy. After about an hour sitting on the bleachers at ball practice, I told Dgd I was going to the car! It was getting dark, windy, and I was freezing!
After we ate supper, she was ready to go to bed pretty soon, and I am going to follow her soon!
I need to put some clothes on hangers to dry, and then I can take a shower and call it a day!
