glad to see CI's.

Both teens are awake and going at their Saturday version of full speed. DD14 is talking with friends and they can be LOUD. It is happy sounds so the volume doesn't matter (to me). DS17 has went to the lake with a couple friends. He is wisely (IMHO) choosing to not hang around the friend that has a negative influence. They are still friends, but DS17 is distancing himself.

2nd meal of the day has been made. It is egg cupcakes with the addition of bagel and fried potatoes for others. My meal is 326 calories, 32 protein, 13 fiber.

Twins', did you get to make any stop along the way this morning?

I had a pleasant morning, with a drive that couldn't have been a better spring day, dogwoods blooming in the woods like (as my dmother used to say) a fairyland. Then a walk that was challenging, but because my eyesight was good enough and my brain up for it, very safe, too, even a hill. Lots of cheerful people, plenty of dogs.

Got photos of events, had a good sandwich. Dd was not able to come in our direction after all, which was fine. We might see each other tomorrow.

LadyM, we are in a "warning" weather situation here because of winds and the dryness. Some concern that we could have fires over the next few days. But we did have a brief thunderstorm yesterday - maybe not enough of a change, though.

Ramblin', happy birthday to your granddaughter!

Almost as soon as I posted my previous post, dh had his coat and shoes on and he was ready to go meat shopping. We were on the highway to the store and I was thinking it certainly looked foggy up ahead. Nope. It was snow. It melted as soon as it touched anything, so no snow to worry about on the ground. At one point it was like driving in a snow globe! So pretty and not the least bit dangerous. (says the Canadian)

I went to Saturday Stitching group to show them the Mason Jars now that it is complete. Now I'm home and it's time to cook supper.

Mower did not start. So might need a spark plug.
Had lunch.
The bread was good for lunch.
Next time I will remember to put olives in it and some cheese.

I went to a veteran's thing today on my way to get fuel.
It had 4-h animals a petting zoo type thing with chickens goats & rabbits, food trucks, and corn hole games
and vendors. I took the red white and blue blanket for them to use how ever needed and they were going to
do a raffle with it they said, there was a lovely quilt for a raffle.

Used the lawn clippers on the one area that was small.

I'm checked into a hotel about 3.5 hrs from home. Short drive tomorrow and I'll have some time at home when it's still daytime. I-81 in Virginia is a single line of cars in the left lane trying to get around the trucks in the right lane. And then a truck pulls into the left lane because there's a particularly slow truck, and we're slowed way way down until the truck can get back to the right lane. I made lots of stops - coffee and got a couple of needed things at a Walmart, a couple of other bathroom stops.

Stops to see things Harriet? No. I was regretting not going to the library again today tho. I could have checked out and put my car in the library garage but I guess it's all good.
