Thank you all for your kind words yesterday. I did not make it back: spent time with tech help on the phone when our TV stopped working... Did all the restarts only to fig. out they need to send me a new box.

helia, if DH won't have those tacos, you can send them over! I actually tried a taco recipe last week - it was supposed to be a tortilla-less taco mix, but the kids pulled out an open pack of tortillas and they all loved it, so I am saving the recipe (DBD was not home, but usually the problem is DS, who doesn't eat onions, and Terri, who doesn't eat... well like everything)

I am glad ye all like Wojtek's story. I think it's one of the coolest WW2 stories I've ever read!
I am not a fan of Mondays, and lately, I am not a fan of work days at all. But I will not let that influence the rest of my day now that I am home! It was raining earlier, but now the sun is shining and there will be light till late, so that's a plus!

Trissie, the mosquitos are showing up so not as pleasant as I had hoped.

Bama I can relate: coffee and outdoor time. The two together is perfection.
trissie Monday is a fresh start! New possibilities...

We are back from an hour long walk.
I put pup on a longer leash for part of it. She was pretty good once she understood she still can't criss-cross in front of me...
I tried to take her to the neighbourhood park for a little sniff time. We watched a man and a woman leave in a hurry with their dog. I figured, this will be good - nobody there. As we got closer, Dpup got fixated on something. (Something we try to avoid with dogs- so she doesn't react). I looked - saw nothing. Then a slight movement: SKUNK! We were out of there so fast! I gave her a handful of treats. (Lesson: not all fixation is bad)
Right now: she is watching little birds picking seeds in the backyard, telling me she'd want to go to them

Next:
I need some shopping- she needs a nap.

The vets office called - beaus labs were a little high, he’s anemic and possible cushings disease. She wants to retest in May. Ugh.

Dh had a cardiologist appt this am - they want a stress test and echo. Double ugh.

Why does everything hit at the same time? Of course I’d rather deal with it all than draw it out.
