Thanks for another interesting start, trissie. I'm quite sure I learned about that battle in school - but that was SO long ago! Great SHEM material! Yeah - that does kinda change the dynamics of a date night. :D
kitkat, I'm also curious about a workshop with kids. Enjoy your busy day! Glad your back is well enough you can go to the gym.
You have a busy day too, Kitty. Enjoy the birthday celebration for your friend.
FFB, I hope the appointment gives you a solution re: the abscess. WTG moving toward a company-ready enough house! I hope your visit with your uncle is a good one.

Weather is gray and drizzly right now. It might not rain too much during the day, though.

I'm up and at 'em a bit later today. Yesterday was a full day for me with much more payroll than usual, a grocery run, and time spent finding and booking a new bnb for our Ohio trip. And, of course, I came out of a payroll meeting with more payroll tasks.

Today is quite open, the one open-ish day of my week! Though, at 4-5, I have my work out with my personal trainer. It's not clear if dh and I are going to a Maundy Thursday service tonight or not. The one at our church starts at 6:30, so getting home after 5 and getting dinner made, eaten, and cleaned up and out the door again by 6:15 is a tall order.

If we do go to the Maundy Thursday service, we're looking at a week with 6 evening events (hosting dinner parties for 3 of them), just 2 weeks after a week with 7 evening events. If we don't go, we're looking at a week with 5 evening events, just 2 weeks after a week with 7 evening events - so not a big difference. . . The week in between only had 2 evening events. = 14 or 15 evening events in 3 weeks. (Looks like next week has 3 evening events - we're hosting 2 of them.)

I hope to use my day to get caught up on some things, like clean sheets on the bed, the bd card for ds, payroll odds and ends, and ordering the wedding gift for V and J whose wedding was 2 weeks ago. I might go for a short jog, even though I'm also meeting with my personal trainer. I'm trying to jog more than 2x/ week ---OH! And maybe I should work on getting Easter dinner under control. Maybe I'll reserve a leg of lamb. I'm not sure it's necessary. . .

Yay for just 1 prick for bloodwork, L Ann! I watched a trailer and am interested in Hail Mary now. It reminds me a little of Arrival. Was it a good book?
That work shop sounds like a lot of fun, kitkat. We're happy with you that you can move! You're very good about keeping active.
I really like cucumber salad, Bama. I hope your day is going well.

I've done a myriad of small niggling desk type things, some are part of payroll. I need to do something different next.

S2 has emailed, and they are hosting CG1 on Saturday. That makes it easier for us - no hosting.

Next:
- after lunch clean up
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower

Later:
- strip MBR bed
- remake MBR bed with clean sheets
- go for a walk? Jog?
- lights: fold and p/a
- Walgreens: Allegra + get card for ds
- write card for ds + prep for the mail
- try again: order wedding gift
- payroll: check first drafts
- lunch

- communication re: Easter dinner?

- 4-5 personal trainer

- 6:30 - 8ish? Church Service?
- duolingo
- update health apps

TaDas!
- up; weighed self
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- reclaimed kitchen
- payroll: lots of communications re: level 3 speaking exam prompt protocol
- some qt
- looked for evidence my passport application was delivered; couldn't find any
- called the postal place; they emailed back with the date of delivery (I realized I should have just done it online)
- paid 2 invoices for personal trainer (he sends 2 invoices at a time)
- giving to charity - confirmed amount with dh first
- paid car insurance bill
- payroll: emails to 2 teachers re: comments re: their final exams last session
- lunch - almost finished
