Re: Thursday Fact-Checking PWYC
I'm enjoying hearing about your April Fools experiences.
I'm home from family doctor appt. I presented my research and unorthodox plan to lower cholesterol. There was some pushback but eventually my plan was accepted but they did talk me into adding lowest dose of a second medication (ezetimibe) that works different from statin. I will be alternating the lowest dose of the two prescriptions every other day in an effort to not experience the painful side effect. We will do blood work again in 3 months and see if this medication plan makes a difference before deciding how to proceed.
Note to self as reminder - AI predicts a 25-40% reduction in cholesterol using this unorthodox plan.
Four medical appointments this week are DONE. There are no other appointments for the rest of the week. Nice!

Re: Thursday Fact-Checking PWYC
Mower specs. I want
Self propelled
21" apx. in width
Push type not riding mower
Adjustable wheels
I prefer larger wheels on bag not sure if I'll be able to get that option.
What I want may not be available might have to go smaller amount of voltage I'm thinking more is better.
Not very many are in stock here now.
Undecided on brand looking and one at a time for now.
I have been adding the newest pick on my wish list and deleting the others off my wish list for comparison.
Sticking with mid range ones not the Cadillac versions of em for me. Then to find one with the right extra chargers in stock.
-----
I have been out in the garden and got the last zone area dead headed.
Yea! That progress was great the sun did come out and it was a protected area away from the winds.
Had dinner I need to do a bit of clean up.
No cord but might get desperate! LOL!

Re: Thursday Fact-Checking PWYC
Great workout - told trainers I was so stiff and sore so the 20-something gal trainer stretched every part of me that I can imagine. I could even stand flat footed with knees not bent, and touch the floor with all my fingers. Couldn't get my palm down but I was feeling loosened up. I think that's the genius of a personal trainer, that it's not a cookie cutter approach. I could have survived a strength workout but this was much better for me.
Dh has gone bowling. It's not been the most productive day ever. I did get two ferns at the plant nursery - one goes on front porch now and the other in the back, and when weather warms up too much the backyard fern goes to the front yard to flank the front door with its sibling.
Sounds like you've narrowed down your choices, Nancy, and I hope you find what you want.
LadyM good for you for taking control of your health plan. The fact that your family doesn't have a history of heart attacks leans in your favor in terms of experimentation. And you eat well too.
Bw2, I love the blue hair, sound like you got dd older with it, good job!

Re: Thursday Fact-Checking PWYC
blessed, your dh must have had fun with that. I can see the difference for your dds. It's one thing to see a picture and another to walk in and see a blue streak in mom's hair, lol.
Cathy, good job with a hair decision. I am feeling indesisive.
Twins', it's a matter of having someone listen to you and recognize that you know more about your body than anyone. So glad you felt a difference.
Ddolder tells me that she's considering a plant-shopping trip with me for somewhere around Mother's Day, but we will have to play that by ear, because I'll need to be sure sunshine and pollen don't bother my eyes while they recuperate. It's really an earlier trip that I'll hope for most, so that all the plants aren't picked over.
Nancy, getting this planning done will serve you well with your new mower one of these days. If you do get an electric one, a side benefit is no running out of fuel or pouring of fuel, storing of fuel, etc. It seems to me it would simplify your life and give you more control over your days. HOWEVER, I am NOT an expert on this at all and have always just used whatever old machine we had, lol.
LadyM, I hope your attention to working within the limits and needs of your body works out super well for you. Isn't it wonderful we can learn so much. I have not heard of that other med and hope it has zero side effects for you.
