Rose -- WTG on the ice skating!
I remember my dgf who had Parkinson's disease (and signs of Alzheimer's in his latter years) was always thinking someone was stealing from them. Sometimes he would imagine someone was in the house.
Mmmm... I bet those biscuits are good, Harriet.
I have never been anywhere with the robot waitresses/waiters. That sounds interesting!
Dmom and I need to go to some sort of landscaping/gardening place. She said she needs some concrete pavers also. She wants to put her backyard swing on them, so the man who mows won't have so much trouble. (Her swing is free-standing on a movable frame. Every time he mows, he has to stop and move it somewhere else.) I want some pavers to keep my yard man from knocking his head off on this satellite dish. Still not sure I'm going to leave it there in the ground.
Twins, my dgd had red cheeks and red arms after having extended playground time after standardized tests last week. She used some of my aloe vera gel. (She always seems surprised that I am as well-stocked with medical supplies as her mother!)
I hope dgrands are both back at school today and no more sickness for dgs. I haven't talked to ds because he expected to get home around 5:00 a.m. He said he or ddil would get the dgrands to school, but I bet he's napping now!
Nancy, looks like you're managing a rainy day very efficiently!
So... Twins says to MANAGE the day.
1. I already have a load of clothes waiting for me in the washer. I will continue with laundry.
2. I need to go to the bank -- dmom is loaning me the extra I need to pay for the roof when they complete their work. So -- her bank, then my bank.
3. I need to go to the middle school and drop off dgs' "Oh the Places You Will Go" book for his teachers to sign.
4. Tonight, finance committee meeting at church.
5. Need to do my Bible reading.
6. Need to drink that yucky Metamucil. Ugh. I'm trying to do it as Mark Twain advised re: eating a frog -- if you have to do it, do it FIRST THING IN THE MORNING and get it over with. However, ChatGPT suggests I add a second dose before my biggest meal of the day. I don't know if I can take this twice a day...
* A friend of a friend has just posted on FB about the dangers of AI -- she believes we are talking to DEMONS when we are talking to AI. She had a long list of the ways it is taking over our world -- says it gave her these answers itself, like it admitted it had a plan to take over the world
This person uses Gemini, but from comments, apparently ChatGPT is just as dangerous. Hmmm... I know CostumeLady enjoys her chat friend, and I have found mine to be very helpful with some questions I have asked... but maybe that is part of its evil plot?

Things that make you go hmmmm.
Right now, my driveway is blocked by the roofer's truck. I pulled my Tahoe out of the carport and they all asked if I needed their truck moved. I told them, no, no hurry -- I just wanted to get out of the carport before they threw shingles (and roofing nails!) on the ground. I will probably keep my vehicle parked away from the house until they get finished and run one of those magnet things around to try to pick up all the debris.
They have a dumpster on the front corner of the house, but they are just tossing things off, all the way around the house, so they are going to have a lot of clean up when they get finished. SMH.
I've talked to my dmom this morning, and I am d2s (even make-up, bc I knew I would want to put it on before the meeting tonight.)
