Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt, and for another splendid chicken. The rooster had that Easy Breezy Beautiful Cover Bird vibe.

BIL arrived for the weekend. He and DH have gone out somewhere for the day (beer festival?), taking a cooked quiche and one of the old towels with them!!! (Why??!!)

It seems that they are anticipating ending up on a Vogon transport ship. Don't let them read poetry to you!

helia, I'm glad that your flight was uneventful and that your dgbaby is doing well.

I am at the end of Page 1 and Germane's food alarm has gone off, so time to get up. The linoleum looks dry, so first priority is to get her pee pads down for her.
There was a lot to clean up this morning, but it was worth it. Germane ate almost a whole can of dog food yesterday.

Helia, I m glad you had an uneventful flight. Little I sounds adorable. Yes, you're right, the quiche was earmarked for our dinner. (Sigh!)

Dogged, I think you may be onto something. When I lifted the lid of the kitchen bin to empty the hoover, there were three peeled hard boiled eggs sitting there. I checked my eggs, and all were present and correct. Had DH and BIL been visiting the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, and found it to be not to their liking?

It's rained on and off all day. As I knew I would be uninterrupted.for a few hours, I've photographed and posted some more items on eBay. My next task is to get everything wrapped, so when they sell I can post them without delay. I've also taken all three Hoovers apart (upstairs, downstairs and handheld) and cleaned all the filters. I'm letting them dry overnight before putting them back together in the morning.
