So how long till DH's retirement, kittykatt? Henna tatoos (the painted ones), should wash off, but quite frankly I have no idea how soon! Yikes about the skin thingie sticking

kitkat, happy yoga stretching! I need to go back to an exercise regime. I keep falling off the wagon so often that I could use a cushioning to soften my falls!

Peeking in from payroll - almost at the end of my shift, but I surely can use doing the planning before I get home! I am hoping we will hear from SIL (no D this time) soon about where we stand. Also, my week will be super short as we need to leave for our trip on Thursday evening, so planning is necessary!

Enjoy the zoom call with your friend, kitkat! Sticking to the list - that's a great idea. I'll try it too. Part of the success of that strategy is good list making.
That's a great SHEM, trissie! I laughed out loud! I hope payroll is going well.
Congratulations on getting an appointment for tomorrow morning, Kitty! Is this spot related to the cat bite earlier? I do hope it is helpful. I wonder how the church coffee clash will shake out? There are some decent (and quite pricey) instant coffees now available.
Looks like a normal busy day for you, L Ann.

There is a very noisy pair of house finches at our feeder. Actually, it is mainly the female.

Some birds can't be at the feeder without "talking" the whole time. She is now fluttering her wings at him - maybe trying to warn him off, but he seems to be ignoring her. LOL! Who knows what is happening? The feeder is cross-species entertainment.

Went through emails - the Anglican church plant BS tonight is canceled bc of a vestry meeting. That is very helpful. Dh and I will try to have dinner on our own tonight. M has sat down and joined us the last 2 nights, which has been fine, but dinner is our main time of connecting, and we don't have that many dinners just the two of us this week.

skippable ramblings I noticed that WW is finally opening a meeting in our city again! I RSVPed for the first meeting - 8 am on May 7. It's an early but good time for me. I need an extra push. I'm maintaining my current weight very nicely, but it would be REALLY helpful to have less weight to carry up and down the mountains this summer. On the Dr. charts, I'm now just barely over the threshold of being technically overweight. My Dr. has never said anything about needing to lose weight, but I'd like to be at least 10 pounds lighter - or closer to 20, ideally, but 10 would be fine. I have to say, since I've started jogging and the personal training, I think my muscle mass has probably increased a bit too.

Today: I have an admin meeting at 10 - 10:30 ish and then I'm going in a bit early just to be present if teachers need support. Then, I teach my class 1:40 - 3:30. I'd like to either get in a walk or a short jog - I think a jog is unlikely given my schedule and my late start. Getting clean sheets on the bed and another lol done would be great. I also need to pick up a few sundry items from WF. Dinner will be pasta from the freezer and a green salad. Tonight is open for us - very nice! An unexpected reprieve.

House finches are pushy too, helian. They like to push other birds off my feeder.

We have had lots of dandelions forever, KitKat, buttercups are the current flower. Hi Trissie and Bama.
